Texture - Ginger6's hand cream feels more like a hydrating gel compared to typical hand creams. You know how most hand creams tend to be quite thick? Well, this one has a relatively lighter feel, more like a hydrating gel or moisturizer. It might not come across well in photos, but those who dislike heavy hand creams will probably love this. What's really great is that it doesn't leave your hands feeling sticky after application. Scent - It has a fresh floral scent. To me, it's like a subtle blend of flower and grass scents - you know that smell when you walk into a flower shop? It's exactly like that. They call it a green floral fragrance, which seems to be trendy for hand creams these days. It's not your typical run-of-the-mill scent, and definitely not that old-fashioned cosmetic smell. I absolutely love it. It feels like a scent you'd find in expensive department store cosmetics or perfumes, as if crafted by a professional perfumer. There's really nothing to complain about. Even the price is good. Of course, some people might not like this particular scent, but that's subjective. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 13, 2020
Absorbs well & Hydrates effectively It's a lightweight cream formula that feels less oily! As a result, it absorbs very quickly, and I loved that it's not too slippery! I used to avoid applying moisturizers because I dislike the slippery feeling when holding pens, but this product doesn't have that issue at all, which is fantastic. It's the perfect hand cream - refreshing yet moisturizing. Plus, my hands were cracked and stinging, but after applying this before bed, the cracks were completely healed by the next morning... It seems really great for replenishing moisture. Fragrance The description mentions a green floral scent, and it's truly wonderful. It's like a wildflower fragrance? Or the scent of a flower shop? The scent is so good that I'm applying this hand cream three times a day just to smell it. If you love green floral scents, you absolutely must buy this! While it's a bit disappointing that the fragrance doesn't last very long... this is a hand cream, not a perfume after all! The subtle fragrance and simple packaging make this a great gift option for men. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSep 29, 2020
The Hwahae Testers Review: Absorbs: The texture is not thick, but rather a light and hydrating emulsion-type formula. Hydration: It creates a moisture barrier, leaving the skin feeling hydrated without being slippery or excessively sticky. Scent: The fragrance is a fresh floral scent. My boyfriend even noticed a slight gingery note, which is impressive considering he usually isn't very perceptive about these things. He picked up on it without knowing ginger was an ingredient. If you're sensitive to fragrances or don't enjoy spicy scents, you might want to avoid this product. The longevity doesn't seem particularly impressive, and the scent might be polarizing for some users. The second photo shows the skin before application, while the third photo demonstrates the results after applying the product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 28, 2020
⚠︎ This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. ⚠︎ Skin type: Dry + Combination ⚠︎ I tend to switch between different hand creams Application: It's not an oily or thick hand cream. It feels very moisturizing, like applying a hydrating cream. It glides on smoothly and quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated. Absorption: It absorbs extremely well. Although I tend to pat hand creams into my skin, with other creams I often feel a residue on my hands. This one doesn't require prolonged absorption, which I find very satisfying. Moisturizing effect: Unlike thicker hand creams that can feel dry quickly and require reapplication, this one keeps my hands feeling moisturized for a long time after just one application. The product description claims it deeply hydrates the skin for long-lasting moisture, and it truly delivers on that promise. Scent: Given its name 'Ginger6', I was worried about the fragrance, especially seeing 20% ginger extract in the ingredients. But surprise! It has a fresh, pleasant scent. Is it grassy? Floral? A cool woody scent? The fragrance is my favorite aspect! Packaging: Good size and grip. It's neither too long nor awkwardly small, making it convenient to carry around. The packaging design is simple yet attractive. I didn't find any particular downsides. I generally use any hand cream without issues, so I used this one comfortably. Some reviews mentioned concerns about ingredients, so those with sensitive skin might want to consider carefully before purchasing, as it's a product applied to the body. My only personal wish is that it came in a larger size, or if they could release a body emulsion with this fragrance. It might not qualify as a pro tip, but I apply hand cream to my feet and heels before bed. (I tend to use hand cream liberally, like a body lotion.) I find foot creams too heavy and oily, taking too long to absorb. I don't like getting it on my bedding, and I'm not fond of sleeping with socks on, so I generally avoid foot creams. This hand cream, however, absorbs well and quickly hydrates deep into the skin, so I occasionally use it when my feet feel dry! Given its price, I feel a bit reluctant to use it on my feet regularly, so I only apply it occasionally when I think of it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers :) Due to COVID-19, frequent hand sanitizing and hygiene practices have made my hands quite rough from alcohol use. I was looking for a hand cream that provides good hydration without being sticky, and I had the great opportunity to try the Ginger6 hand cream! The most satisfying aspect was its moisturizing power ♥️ I've used many hand creams, but I couldn't find one that was both hydrating and left a soft finish until I tried the Ginger6 hand cream. It's wonderfully moisturizing with a beautifully soft finish. The scent is also great for those who enjoy floral fragrances! It's not a cheap, overpowering scent that stings your nose, so even those who dislike strong fragrances will appreciate it. The product is simple, and the size is just right. These days, I carry it with me everywhere and apply it frequently throughout the day. Although I use this hand cream daily, I haven't found any significant drawbacks so far! One minor concern is the use of fragrance for the scent, which might be a slight downside for some. (This review is based on one week of use) It might also work well on legs or elbows that need extra moisture. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 25, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review: 1. Absorption It has a consistency similar to a night cream. As I work with my hands, I usually apply it only to the back of my hands. It doesn't absorb instantly; you need to massage it in a bit. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized without being sticky. 2. Fragrance (most important to me) I usually prefer hand creams with fresh floral or woody scents, and dislike powdery smells. This one has a delightful fresh floral scent, as if you're burying your nose in real flowers. It's exactly my taste! 3. Lasting power The hydration lasts for a long time. My previous hand cream didn't last long, so I had to use Vaseline. This one has one of the best staying powers among hand creams I've tried. It keeps your hands feeling soft and moisturized for hours. 4. Packaging I used to use Aesop hand cream, but it leaked easily and the cap was inconvenient. This one has a sturdy tube container, so I don't worry about carrying it in my expensive bag. While the packaging is sturdy, I wish it had a more aesthetically pleasing design (coming from someone who lives and dies by style). - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2020
The best things about this hand cream were its absorption and scent! I really dislike hand creams with formulas that feel too slippery or sticky after application, but this one left my hands feeling just moisturized without any residue. The fragrance was truly like fresh apples, with a touch of sweetness that I absolutely loved. There's honestly nothing to complain about. Even the price at 9,900 won seems reasonable and not expensive at all! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2020
My hands and feet always get chapped in winter, and in severe cases, they can even become itchy. When I apply hand cream, it absorbs quickly and dries fast, indicating how extremely dry my skin is. This cream doesn't feel thick or sticky. It absorbs moisturizing, though the absorption rate seems a bit slower. There's no slippery feeling, and it's neither heavy nor suffocating. It's not too light either. After a while, it leaves my hands feeling soft and hydrated for a long time. It even adds a slight sheen, making my hands look healthy, which I'm satisfied with. During the testing period, I applied it consistently. I usually applied a small amount 2-3 times. For those with very dry skin, I recommend applying small amounts multiple times to control the quantity. At first, I applied my usual generous amount, but then I had to wait for it to absorb before using my mouse or keyboard. (Note: When I applied a large amount of other brands' products, I experienced discomfort like slipping or transferring onto my silicone phone case, but with the Ginger6 hand cream, there was minimal slipping or transfer.) When using hand cream, I pay attention to the fragrance too. This product has a strong scent, which I think could be toned down a bit. The scent is refreshing and pleasant (when I first applied it, a friend nearby said it smelled like a fresh soap scent, which they liked). While this scent is great for summer use, it doesn't seem to suit colder weather. If you dislike strong fragrances, this might be too intense for you. When there's just a tiny bit left on my hands, I like to run my fingers through my frizzy hair - it leaves a nice subtle scent. Also, applying a bit more than usual before bed has been helpful! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2020
This is an honest review from The Hwahae Testers. While it's fine in other seasons, during seasonal changes or winter, my nails and hands feel very dry. My skin develops white patches like eczema and cracks, which is frustrating. The absorption and application are really excellent. I've been looking for facial and body emulsions with squalane that are moisturizing without clogging pores, and this hand cream with squalane and hyaluronic acid seemed perfect. I love that it feels hydrating without being greasy. It absorbs well, and while it's not oily, the moisturizing effect lasts a long time. It's like the moisture is locked in and doesn't evaporate. Later, when you wash your hands, there's a slippery coating feeling, similar to when you apply and wipe off aloe gel. It lasts long and provides great hydration. Due to the nature of my work, my hands often get wet. I used to use hand cream sparingly and end up throwing away expired products, but I've already used 2/3 of this one in just ten days. That shows how often I reach for it. Plus, it doesn't leave much oil residue on my phone screen, which is great. I intend to repurchase, but there are a few downsides mentioned below. The product is somewhat limited in availability and needs to be ordered online. A significant drawback is the fragrance and fixatives used. While it may be fine for those not sensitive to scents, I was disappointed to find that three of the allergen-inducing substances are fragrance fixatives used to set the artificial floral scent. Although I didn't have an allergic reaction and the application was good, the strong, long-lasting fragrance (even though it smells nice) was difficult for me as I'm sensitive to scents. Natural aromas like those used by Aromatica tend to fade quickly, but this one lingered. These days, many products use unscented formulas or natural fragrances that don't last as long. It would be nice if they could make this without using three different fragrance fixatives. If they could remove the fragrance and fixatives, I'd love to repurchase! I hope this feedback is considered. Apply a small amount gently. It's non-sticky while keeping your hands moisturized and soft for a long time. Once it's absorbed, it doesn't leave much oil residue on your phone screen. The first photo shows my hand after application - moisturized without any stickiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 24, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. When I first used the Ginger Hand Cream, I completely fell in love with its subtle floral scent. It's the kind of fragrance I personally adore, and I appreciated how delicate it was. I honestly didn't expect much from the scent, given it's ginger-based. The texture feels like a smooth emulsion. When applied, it seems to form a protective layer, but after gently patting it in, it absorbs well, leaving a soft finish without any stickiness. Your hands feel moisturized and hydrated. It has a light, gentle application, with good hydration power and a smooth feel. The size is also perfect for carrying around. I'm satisfied with both the feel and the ingredients, so I don't have any complaints.
