Texture - Ginger6's hand cream feels more like a hydrating gel compared to typical hand creams. You know how most hand creams tend to be quite thick? Well, this one has a relatively lighter feel, more like a hydrating gel or moisturizer. It might not come across well in photos, but those who dislike heavy hand creams will probably love this. What's really great is that it doesn't leave your hands feeling sticky after application. Scent - It has a fresh floral scent. To me, it's like a subtle blend of flower and grass scents - you know that smell when you walk into a flower shop? It's exactly like that. They call it a green floral fragrance, which seems to be trendy for hand creams these days. It's not your typical run-of-the-mill scent, and definitely not that old-fashioned cosmetic smell. I absolutely love it. It feels like a scent you'd find in expensive department store cosmetics or perfumes, as if crafted by a professional perfumer. There's really nothing to complain about. Even the price is good. Of course, some people might not like this particular scent, but that's subjective. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSep 29, 2020
The Hwahae Testers Review: Absorbs: The texture is not thick, but rather a light and hydrating emulsion-type formula. Hydration: It creates a moisture barrier, leaving the skin feeling hydrated without being slippery or excessively sticky. Scent: The fragrance is a fresh floral scent. My boyfriend even noticed a slight gingery note, which is impressive considering he usually isn't very perceptive about these things. He picked up on it without knowing ginger was an ingredient. If you're sensitive to fragrances or don't enjoy spicy scents, you might want to avoid this product. The longevity doesn't seem particularly impressive, and the scent might be polarizing for some users. While it squeezes out like a cream, it feels more like an emulsion when applied, so a little goes a long way. It absorbs well into the skin, leaving no heavy or suffocating feeling - just a soft, velvety finish. And above all, the fragrance is delightful! I was most concerned about the scent since it's ginger-based, but it's actually a very subtle floral aroma. It's unique and not overpowering at all. Even my friend commented on how nice it smelled as soon as I applied it! I can't really think of any downsides yet. When choosing a hand cream, I prioritize how it feels after application and how long the hydration lasts. This hand cream excels in both aspects. After applying, my hands feel light as if I hadn't used any cream, yet they're wonderfully moisturized. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 25, 2020
This review comes from being selected as one of The Hwahae Testers! First off, as someone who uses hand cream 365 days a year, I was thrilled to be chosen to try this hand cream! The product's appearance is very clean with its white tone, and the fragrance is that of fresh flowers! It's not easy to find a natural floral scent that isn't artificial, so the pleasant aroma makes me reach for it more often! This isn't a thick cream for treating cracked hands, but rather a formula that's perfect for daily, casual use. The only downside is that, as with most hand creams, the quantity feels a bit small. I also wish the ingredients were even better. These days, with frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizers, our hands tend to get very dry. This cream is great to apply whenever that happens. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2020
Scent: A common floral fragrance without the grassy notes. I personally liked it! Texture: Feels like a light emulsion. It applies smoothly and leaves a nice coating feeling - I'd recommend it to those who enjoy that sensation. Hydration: Not bad at all, my hands didn't feel dry for about 2 hours (and I'm someone who uses hand cream even in summer, haha). Other points: When I first squeezed it, I was surprised by how much came out, but once applied, it was actually just the right amount. It's not particularly sticky and is really great for light application. The moisturizing power is quite decent too. If you're looking for something versatile, I think most people would like the scent, and the texture is more suited to those who prefer a light, moisturizing feel rather than a heavy one. The fragrance lingers pleasantly without being overwhelming, and there's no significant greasiness. I can't really think of any downsides to this hand cream. I'd recommend it to those who like to apply generously! The downside is the price. I got to use it as part of the Hwahae Testers event, and while I'm satisfied and think I'll use it well this winter, considering the price is around 9,000 won for 60ml, I might choose a hand cream I already know and like better. However, even though the price seems high, it's 60ml, and while it starts off light, it wraps around your skin, leaving a moisturizing and coating feeling. As time passes, it keeps the inside of your skin moisturized with a subtle lingering scent, while the outside feels fresh and powdery. So, even at this price, it's not bad. As for the design, since I'm particular about what I carry around, the simple white design might be too plain for me... I prefer something more colorfully pretty. But if you like this kind of simple design, you might be satisfied. To sum it up, it's really a 'versatile hand cream'. The texture might be a matter of personal preference, but other than that, I don't think there will be strong likes or dislikes. The scent is nice, and the moisturizing power is good too :) - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 24, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. When I first used the Ginger Hand Cream, I completely fell in love with its subtle floral scent. It's the kind of fragrance I personally adore, and I appreciated how delicate it was. I honestly didn't expect much from the scent, given it's ginger-based. The texture feels like a smooth emulsion. When applied, it seems to form a protective layer, but after gently patting it in, it absorbs well, leaving a soft finish without any stickiness. Your hands feel moisturized and hydrated. It has a light, gentle application, with good hydration power and a smooth feel. The size is also perfect for carrying around. I'm satisfied with both the feel and the ingredients, so I don't have any complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review alert! Case: The first thing I loved was the case and size! It's not too big or too small - just the perfect size. The design is also sleek, so you can take it anywhere without it standing out, making it convenient to use. Texture: The formula doesn't leave much residue on your hands! It's moisturizing, so it should absorb quickly when applied to dry skin. Scent: Wow... I was truly hooked on the scent! It has a floral aroma that'll likely lift your mood when you apply it and take a whiff. Cleansing: After application, I immediately washed my hands, and it rinsed off easily without feeling oily. There are a lot of ingredients, and according to the ingredient list, some might be harmful for oily skin. However, since it's applied to hands rather than the face, it shouldn't be a major issue. Just be careful not to get it on your face as it could cause irritation. I recommend using it mainly on the palms of your hands! When squeezing the product out, be gentle! If you squeeze too hard, it might come out in a big glob. It dispenses well with just a light press on the back or middle of the tube, so there's no need to apply too much pressure. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 23, 2020
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. The product fits perfectly in one hand and has a very simple design. Regarding the scent, I often use hand creams as a light fragrance alternative. That's why I prioritize scent when choosing hand creams, and this one has a perfect green floral aroma. It has a grassy scent mixed with floral notes! At first, I thought it might be too strong, but after continued use, it doesn't seem that intense. Rather than being heavy, it's more of a calm green floral scent. As someone with hyperhidrosis, I absolutely can't use heavy hand creams. I thought it might have a thick texture due to the fermented butter, but perhaps because of the 8 types of hyaluronic acid, it has a very hydrating and light texture. As a result, it absorbs quickly, which is great. There's no sticky feeling either. As someone whose hands don't typically get very dry even in winter, I felt it just provided adequate hydration. Those with very dry hands might still feel some dryness after using this product. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSep 22, 2020
The Hwahae Testers review is in! I was thinking about buying a hand cream for the dry autumn season when I got lucky and was selected to try this one out. Scent: I was honestly a bit worried when I heard it was ginger-scented, but it actually has a lovely fresh floral fragrance. However, my friend who's sensitive to scents found it a bit strong. If you prefer very subtle fragrances, this might be a bit much for you. Texture: (See photo) It has a light, fluid consistency! It feels lightweight and seems to absorb well into the skin. Packaging: I absolutely love the sleek packaging. The design is so pretty! Price: I think the price is reasonable for this amount! It's not too expensive, which is great. If I had to pick something, I'd say the ingredients list is a bit disappointing... It doesn't cause any rashes and suits my hands perfectly, so I'm not sure why some of the ingredients are marked as potentially problematic. It's especially nice to apply after doing dishes or taking a long bath! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 21, 2020
- Fragrance: Given the name 'Ginger', I expected a ginger scent, but surprisingly it has a lovely fresh floral aroma. It's a feminine floral scent that women will appreciate. - Texture & Application: The white emulsion-like texture spreads smoothly and easily. Unlike some hand creams that are thick and difficult to apply, this product glides on effortlessly, making application a breeze. - Moisturizing Effect: I loved the immediate dewy glow after application. Recently, I've been concerned about rough, dry skin and dead skin cells on the back of my hands, but after testing this product for two days, my skin became noticeably smoother. It seems to be about 90% improved! This cream appears to maintain hydration well. - Packaging: The simple, unisex packaging is perfect for carrying around, and the size is just right. - Absorption: It seems to take a while to absorb fully. While some may prefer a long-lasting moisturizing formula, most people I know, including myself, prefer a quick-absorbing, non-sticky, and fresh feel. Hand creams are often applied in the office, and slow absorption can lead to greasy keyboards and leaving residue on everything you touch, which isn't ideal. Those who unconsciously touch their face or hair frequently should be careful not to transfer the product! - Sticky and Oily Finish: It doesn't have a fresh, powdery finish. There's a slightly sticky, oily feeling that lingers as it slowly absorbs. However, once fully absorbed, the glow remains while the stickiness disappears. I avoided touching things while it was absorbing. It's probably better to apply this at home rather than in the office. Personally, I wish the finish was more powdery and fresh! - Generic Scent: While the brand name is unique and memorable, the overly common floral scent was a bit disappointing. I don't particularly like ginger scents, but I'm not averse to them either, so I was curious to see how they might have incorporated it. Floral scents are nice, but I think if they expressed more of the unique character implied by the 'Ginger' brand name, it could create a fan base! There are quite a few people who like ginger scents, and mixing just a hint of it with the floral notes could make for a more appealing and distinctive fragrance.
