It can be a bit rich, but if you control the amount well, you can achieve baby-soft skin. I loved how it glides on like whipped cream and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and fresh! If you apply this carelessly without controlling the amount, you'll quickly get blemishes due to over-nourishment. I recommend applying small amounts at 30-minute intervals! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 26, 2025
It absorbs like a protective coating, which is great for hydration. Ideal for those with extremely dry skin. After application, it initially caused itching, and with continued use, it led to redness and a tingling sensation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinMar 21, 2025
It has a moisturizing cream texture that's not heavy, but if you apply too much, it can sit on the surface a bit It seems good, but after applying this, something keeps coming up on my skin. I'm using it with other creams, which might be the issue - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 17, 2025
I chose this cream because I dislike stickiness. When applied, there's a brief sticky feeling, but it quickly absorbs, leaving the skin feeling soft and powdery. A week after using it, my skin became red and bumpy, like an allergic reaction. I ignored the red spots at first and continued applying, but it only got worse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2025
Honestly, I can't think of any good points. My skin suffered so much from this, what could possibly be good about it? As soon as I started using it, I felt a burning sensation and developed tiny bumps and itchiness. I bought it because everyone said it was great, but I had no idea it would be so incompatible with my skin. I'm not sure if there's an ingredient that doesn't agree with me, but after using this, my skin became super sensitive. I couldn't even apply any other cosmetics and had to stick to just one toner. I'm better now, thankfully. I tried to use it as a hand cream to avoid wasting it, but even my hands felt a tingling sensation. I have no clue what's causing this reaction. The texture is also too thick, making it difficult to apply, and it has a somewhat artificial cosmetic scent. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 8, 2025
I was satisfied after applying it on the first day, as my skin felt smooth and there was no visible redness the next morning. However, when I used it again the next day, my skin completely flared up. It became itchy, with small bumps appearing, and my skin turned red. This is the worst reaction I've ever experienced. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinDec 28, 2024
Contains barrier-strengthening ingredients and easily available at drugstores It really doesn't suit my skin at all. I've never encountered a cosmetic product that disagreed with me this much. I wonder why? I have combination dehydrated skin, so I only applied it to my U-zone, avoiding the T-zone. The next morning, that area became red and I developed contact dermatitis... It was red, tingling, and bumpy. I'm just upset because it's the first time my U-zone has reacted so badly - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2024
I have combination dehydrated skin! I had been using my regular moisturizer for years, but I would still get occasional red, inflamed blemishes or small bumps two or three times a month for no apparent reason. During the recent Olive Young sale, I decided to switch up my skincare routine and came across the Real Barrier Extreme Cream, which is said to be great for improving the skin barrier. True to the hype, it applied to my face with a rich, hydrating feel. It felt more like a balm than a typical cream! While it felt moisturizing, it seemed to only hydrate the surface. I'm not sure if it was because it felt like it was clogging my pores, but I didn't get that deep, lasting hydration feeling right after application. Unfortunately, the day after using it, I noticed some small inflamed blemishes starting to appear. It seems to work well for some people with combination dehydrated skin like mine, but I experienced some tiny white bumps! I recommend buying a smaller size first to test it out on your skin before purchasing a larger amount. It's best to see how your skin reacts before committing to a full-size product! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 7, 2024
This product is an absolute must-have for winter. As someone with seborrheic dermatitis, I find it gentle and effective at preventing blemishes. It's really soothing for my skin. In summer, it seems to cause some skin issues, possibly due to the stearic acid content. When used alone in winter, it can leave my skin feeling a bit dry. For best results, I recommend layering it with a hydrating toner, essence, or eye cream. This combination really boosts the moisture and leaves my skin feeling great. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinOct 8, 2024
This cream is perfect for seasonal transitions. My skin barrier was compromised, causing stinging and pain with every product I applied. After using this, I feel like my barrier has improved. The tube packaging is also hygienic. In summer, the cream feels too heavy and causes blemishes to appear. It's even worse for my oily skin, leading to more severe breakouts.
