The soothing effect is great. It's even good for applying on mosquito bites. It tends to pill a bit. Make sure to let it absorb fully before applying makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2024
I've been using this for 5 years now. After applying, my skin feels soothed, and it seems to be gentle on my complexion. When layering, it tends to pill. Also, once it dries, my skin feels a bit dehydrated. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 1, 2023
It's great for calming the skin and helps prevent moisture loss. Since it's a gel type, it can cause pilling when applied before makeup. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 8, 2023
It's like giving yourself an instant hydration mask when you use this straight from the fridge The downside is that it can cause makeup to pill. It's a bit sticky, and if you don't finish with an emulsion, your skin might feel tight - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 28, 2023
The gel-like texture feels amazing, and there's an instant cooling effect when applied. It's fantastic for soothing any heat on the skin. It felt quite sticky compared to the amount applied, and when layered on thickly, there were instances of pilling. For those who experience intense skin warmth, it might be beneficial to use this before applying your moisturizer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinApr 2, 2023
My doctor advised against using aloe due to its alcohol content causing dryness, but this product doesn't have that issue. I was struggling with severe redness as heat kept rising to my face. When I stopped using it as per the doctor's advice, the heat kept coming back, so I tried this product again. It helped reduce the heat, and I recovered quickly. Although it's a gel and can pill, it's the only thing that effectively cools my skin. I'll definitely repurchase. The pilling is unavoidable, so I can't really complain about that. Despite this, it's still a product I'm grateful for. Using this along with a gentle, hydrating moisturizer can improve your skin condition. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 9, 2021
Whenever my skin flares up, I skip all other skincare steps and only apply this product followed by a cream. It definitely has excellent soothing effects. There are many calming products like cica out there these days, but I'm so satisfied with this one that I don't even feel the need to try other soothing products. It might be due to the aloe properties, but if you apply this product alone, it can be drying, so you need to use another moisturizer with it. Also, it tends to pill when applied under makeup, so I only use it before bed or on days when I'm staying at home. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 27, 2021
Great for summer use and seems suitable for all skin types. It's moisturizing and nice, but sometimes it pills when applying makeup over it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 12, 2021
I found that applying this after popping a pimple and sleeping with it on really helps calm the area down If you apply too much, the excess doesn't absorb and pills like eraser shavings. It also feels slippery when washing your face in the morning For sunburns or when you've gotten too much sun, it works wonders if you chill it in the fridge before use - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 18, 2021
I've been using this since my student days, and it's fantastic for calming my skin when I have blemishes or severe redness. Unlike many aloe gels that contain alcohol and end up drying out the skin, this one doesn't have that issue. It can be quite sticky, and if you apply too much, it tends to pill like dead skin cells. Because of this, I can't use it in the morning. It's only suitable for evening application. For best results, apply the aloe gel after your evening skincare routine before bed to soothe your skin. It's also great to use instead of a serum when doing a sheet mask to reduce facial heat.
