I've been using this for 5 years now. After applying, my skin feels soothed, and it seems to be gentle on my complexion. When layering, it tends to pill. Also, once it dries, my skin feels a bit dehydrated. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinNov 29, 2023
This product helped me endure my childhood atopic dermatitis. I've been using it for 20 years, even for soothing skin irritations and minor burns. Among aloe gels, I don't think there's anything better. I'd rather use one tube of this than ten tubes of a cheaper $3 aloe gel. The hydration it provides isn't quite enough, so you definitely need to apply an additional moisturizer with it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 8, 2023
It's like giving yourself an instant hydration mask when you use this straight from the fridge The downside is that it can cause makeup to pill. It's a bit sticky, and if you don't finish with an emulsion, your skin might feel tight - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 9, 2023
It's great for quickly applying before bed or before makeup. I love how convenient it is. When I use it before applying makeup, it seems to help my makeup adhere better. That's why it's become a staple in my pre-makeup routine. There's a slight feeling of dryness after application, but I don't consider that a significant issue. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 19, 2023
This product is excellent for soothing skin that's been irritated by the intense summer sun It might be too drying for those with dehydrated skin, so I'd recommend applying a separate moisturizer afterwards - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 14, 2022
I've been using this for over 17 years, starting in my early 20s. I used to struggle with adult acne, but my skincare routine has been: Toner (or toner pads) > Univera Skincare 100 > Something nourishing (like a nutrient cream or ampoule) I discovered that aloe vera calms my acne and suits my skin perfectly. I've stuck to this basic routine for life, followed by sunscreen and cushion foundation if I need makeup. My acne has completely disappeared! I've tried various aloe products, but Univera is by far the best. It doesn't have that alcohol smell either. I came here to share my holy grail tip, but I'm surprised to see quite a few people in the reviews with similar routines to mine. I guess it's not just me - this stuff must be genuinely good! This product really helped control my acne. Of course, hormonal acne is unavoidable, but those tiny bumps and irritating pimples caused by cosmetics? They stopped appearing after I started using aloe. If you're struggling with acne, please try following the tips in these reviews consistently. Trust me, it works! (Find a toner or toner pad that works for you, and a product to lock in moisture at the end. Finding the right products for your skin is crucial!) Since it's an aloe gel, the moisturizing effect and lasting power are somewhat lacking. That's why I always apply a more hydrating product on top, almost like a coating. Toner pads (find one that suits you. For reference, I found Dermatory Cica Rescue Gauze Pads work well for me) > Univera Skincare 100 (This is the KEY ★★★★★★★★) > Sealing layer I have oily skin, so in summer I use a light, nourishing gel-type product (These days, I'm using Roar Truffle Nutrition Cream. It's gel-type so it's refreshing, and the ingredients are great. If only it weren't so pricey, it'd be perfect!) For dry seasons or when my skin feels parched, I use an ampoule (Univera Aloe N The Gold Ampoule ★★★★★, Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair. I bought this famous product because I started feeling my age, but if I apply too much, it irritates my skin due to the ingredients, so I only use a tiny amount.) When I need extra moisture, I use 100% shea butter (L'Occitane. In winter, I melt a small amount in my hands and pat it on as a final layer for maximum hydration!) Univera sent me a sample of the Aloe N The Gold Ampoule. Usually, samples irritate my skin and I have to wash them off (my skin gets itchy when products don't suit me), but this sample made my skin so glowy and firm, and it felt comfortable without any irritation, so I bought the full size. It's not on the Hwahae app yet, but finding a non-irritating product that I like is as rare as finding a needle in a haystack for me, so even though it's a bit pricey, I went for it. Just for your reference! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 15, 2022
My skin was rough due to atopic tendencies, but it improved significantly after using this product. It's a bit disappointing that it feels dry when used alone. However, mixing it with oil does help to counteract this issue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinFeb 26, 2022
It seems to have an excellent soothing effect when applied immediately after a burn If you only apply this, it might leave your skin feeling a bit dry - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2022
As I have oily skin, I prefer gel formulas over emulsions. I've been using this instead of an emulsion, and I love how well it hydrates my skin. The downside is that if I only apply this product, my skin feels tight, so I definitely need to follow up with a cream. It's great to keep it in the fridge during summer and use it as a cooling mask. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 7, 2021
After using it, my skin feels wonderfully moisturized and smooth! There's a slight stickiness after application, and once it dries, I feel a bit of tightness, so I make sure to apply a cream afterwards.
