I thought it was nice because it felt good when I first applied it After using this product, I developed contact dermatitis and had to visit the dermatologist many times. Even now, two years later, I'm still struggling with redness. I'm not sure exactly what caused this, but it really didn't agree with my skin at all. Whenever I see that product, I just want to smash it - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2019
It has a cooling effect when used cold! I apply it to my forehead, chin area, and neck! I used to use it a lot in the past, from face to body. But since it's a large container, I started getting blemishes. Having atopic skin, when I apply this after cleansing on days I wear makeup, it makes the area around my eyes itchy. When applied, it seems to reduce the heat sensation in the skin. However, that's a basic function for any soothing product, so I can't really call it a standout feature. While I've never had issues with other aloe products, this one specifically caused irritation and raised red hives on my skin. It didn't provide any hydration, and my skin quickly felt dry. My face turned red, so I stopped using it. The sales representative insisted it must be gentle because it contains aloe and encouraged me to keep using it. Unfortunately, the results were the same. My already sensitive skin became even more reactive, and I developed many inflammatory blemishes. I'm so disappointed that I don't think I'll ever use Univera products again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2019
I'm not sure. I used to use a 98% aloe product from Hohoba Story, but I couldn't find a single advantage of this one over that. First off, when I applied it to my face, my skin felt like it was burning, especially around the eyes. It was awful! After about three days of use, the skin under my nose started peeling and then became weepy. I immediately stopped using it and switched to a different aloe product, which made the symptoms disappear. It seems this just doesn't suit my super sensitive skin at all. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 20, 2019
I used this back in 2016 when it was super popular. While my memory is a bit fuzzy, I recall the packaging being simple and the ingredients being high-quality. As soon as I applied this, my skin went absolutely haywire. I ended up having to see a dermatologist to recover... Could I be allergic to aloe? Anyway, since then, I've been avoiding products containing aloe. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 5, 2018
There's absolutely nothing good to say... I guess it just doesn't work for me! I've never had issues with skincare products before, as I don't have super sensitive skin. But this one? Yikes! As soon as I applied it, my face started burning and tingling intensely. I had to wash it off immediately. Even after cleansing, the irritation persisted. I'm not sure which ingredient caused this, but it clearly doesn't agree with my skin. While I'm okay now after washing it off quickly, I'm worried about potential allergic reactions. It's scary to think my skin could have a severe reaction! If you experience a tingling sensation, wash it off immediately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinSep 9, 2018
I've been applying this as a soothing treatment after leg hair removal, and it's not bad at all. I'm not sure if aloe doesn't agree with me, but when I apply it, it stings a lot, and the next day I get small blemishes. It's sticky, dries out my skin, and even causes dead skin cells to appear. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 3, 2018
The aloe ingredient worked well for my mother who has normal skin. That's why she recommended it to me, even though I have atopic skin. I liked the cool and clear texture. However, perhaps because I have super sensitive skin, or maybe some ingredient didn't agree with me, my skin reacted badly the very next day. I deeply regretted enthusiastically applying it based solely on my mother's recommendation. Still, seeing the incredible reviews, it seems like it works well for those whose skin agrees with it! Just be cautious about the ingredients! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2018
When blemishes appear, applying this product helps calm the skin. Once it dries, it feels like you're wearing a protective mask on your face! After applying and letting it dry, if you wash it off and then use a moisturizer, the hydration lasts for a long time. This product worked well for my super sensitive skin. It's very sticky when applied and not suitable for use when going out. It's fine once it dries, but 3-5 hours later, it starts to flake off in patches. Occasionally, it felt a bit burning (when dealing with blemishes or redness). If you apply it like a mask in the evening and wash it off in the morning, it really helps calm redness and acne. Then, after applying your skincare basics and going out, the hydration lasts for a long time! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 11, 2017
I've been using it for at least 10 years, even before the name change. I buy it in bulk when it's heavily discounted at the Asiana Airlines duty-free shop, and it's been great for my acne-prone skin. I've tried other brands like Kiehl's, Estée Lauder, and SK-II, but every time I use them, my face starts itching within a couple of days and my acne flares up, so I always go back to Skincare100. It may not clear my acne overnight, but at least it doesn't cause any breakouts. In the winter, my skin gets too dry when I use this, and it ends up flaking and irritated. Instead, I use Physiogel.
