The absorbs well is smooth and I used it as a soothing gel. It absorbed or dried quickly, I'm not sure which. I used it on my newborn's face and on my own combination dehydrated skin. It's amazing when used cold! It's a bit sticky and slippery when washing off. Oh, it's quite expensive, but I guess that means it's good, right? That's why I even used it on my newborn. Apply this, then layer an emulsion or cream on top for best results. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJun 15, 2024
I've been using this product for over 25 years. I started using it because of my acne-prone skin, and now it's become a habit. Even at an age where I'm concerned about wrinkles, I still apply this as the first step in my evening routine instead of toner. When you apply the right amount, it absorbs well, so much so that even if you layer a rich cream on top, everything seems to absorb completely. I can confidently recommend this as an excellent product for blemishes. I wish they would change the packaging. It's inconvenient at times because you can't check how much is left, so I end up buying a new one when the pump starts to struggle. I sometimes mix it with a nourishing cream for a massage. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 15, 2023
Despite its rich texture that might seem sticky at first, it absorbs quickly into the skin, which I love. The aloe vera ingredient appears to help soothe the skin too. Hmm, there's not much to dislike, but I'm a bit disappointed that it seems to contain one potentially harmful ingredient. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 21, 2022
If aloe vera suits your skin, you'll absolutely love this! As it's an aloe essence, it absorbs really well into the skin and is great for sensitive skin. Sometimes when my skin gets red and irritated like an allergic reaction, applying this aloe essence immediately calms it down. It provides instant hydration that lasts for a long time. It's fantastic for summer, but during seasonal changes or winter, you'll need to maintain moisture with an emulsion or cream to prevent deep dryness! Hmm, the price? But at 35,000 won for 300ml, it's about 12,000 won per 100ml. Compared to other essences, it doesn't seem that expensive after all. While it's great for summer, during seasonal changes, make sure to apply an emulsion to maintain sufficient moisture! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2021
When applying, it has a slightly tacky feel that makes it spread nicely, and it absorbs faster than expected, which is great. I have oily skin and initially used it as an essence substitute, but now I'm using it as a hydrating mask (in the evening). It seems to help calm my skin. The scent when it dries isn't great... Also, I remember it stinging slightly when first applied, though I'm not sure why that happened. Before bed, I use toner to refine my skin texture, then apply about four pumps of this like a mask. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels more hydrated. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 1, 2021
Absorbs well and makes for a great base. It's rich and nourishing. When applied before bed, makeup goes on smoothly in the morning. It's pricey. Don't apply this before makeup as it pills terribly. This is an emulsion, not a toner. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinApr 25, 2020
It absorbs well and quickly, which is fantastic. I can immediately feel my skin improving. I can't really say anything specific. If I had to mention something, maybe it's the slippery feeling when washing off after applying a lot? - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 19, 2020
It absorbs well and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. The hydration power is truly impressive! At first, there's a slight sticky feeling. It also feels a bit on the pricey side. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 26, 2020
I've been using this as a staple item for over 10 years and it's one of my favorites. It's versatile - you can use it as a night pack after cleansing when your skin is sensitive or irritated. Despite its rich texture, it absorbs well. It's great for soothing and contains no irritating ingredients, making it suitable for those with super sensitive skin or oily skin types. For best results, apply after your toner, followed by a serum or lightweight moisturizer. Absolutely avoid using this during the day before makeup. The rich texture and residue left behind will cause your makeup to pill. It wasn't designed to be used as a makeup base in the first place. For enhanced soothing effects, try storing the aloe gel in the refrigerator before use. When purchasing, if you ask for just two samples, you can often receive an amount equivalent to nearly half of the full-size product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDec 12, 2019
It feels moisturizing and seems to absorb instantly. When applied generously, it seems to provide sufficient hydration on its own. It feels a bit sticky. Other than that, I haven't found any drawbacks so far.
