  Pros

  When my skin felt dry even after applying cream, I tried layering this oil thinly on top. It wasn't too greasy and worked well. It seems nothing beats oil for enhancing the longevity of base skincare products.

  Cons

  The ingredients are not good at all. Fragrance is listed as the third ingredient... I'm worried that using it for a long time might cause more blemishes, so I'm planning to switch to something else.

  Pros

  It provides excellent hydration without feeling greasy, which is why I've gone through more than 3 bottles. The scent is absolutely lovely. I have combination-sensitive skin, and it's never caused any blemishes.

  Cons

  The price...? Other than that, I can't think of anything negative to say.

  Tip

  It's convenient to mix a drop with your emulsion or foundation for easy application.

  I bought this because it smells like the scent I encountered at the dermatologist's office (a bit of an odd reason, I know). I rub two to three drops between my hands and apply it all over my face. First off, I was relieved that it didn't cause any blemishes or red spots. It keeps my skin hydrated without feeling too greasy. Two to three drops seemed to be the perfect amount. Applying too much made my face look shiny and felt uncomfortable, like there was a layer sitting on my skin. (Of course, it can't be completely matte - it is an oil after all.) It's not easy to finish a whole bottle of oil, but I've already used more than half of it.

  Cons

  Ah... the ingredients... I wish they could remove some of the unnecessary ones... Is that too much to ask? Also, it's really crucial to control the amount when using this product.

  Tip

  I usually use about two drops to create a light protective layer on my skin. If my face feels too oily, I just apply it around my eyes instead of eye cream. In that case, even one drop is plenty.

  Pros

  Pleasant scent. Applying this oil after a moisturizer feels like it locks in hydration, preventing moisture loss and keeping my skin feeling deeply hydrated for longer. Despite being a face oil, it's less greasy and rich compared to others I've tried (I used to use B*o oil, but this one's better).

  Cons

  You need to warm the oil between your palms before applying to help it absorb. If you don't rub your hands together enough, the oil can sit on top of the skin rather than sinking in properly.

  Pros

  As someone with extremely dry skin, I used to struggle with milia and severe flaking. My makeup would always come off. But when I apply this at night, my skin doesn't feel dry, and my makeup stays put (without getting greasy). Lately, I've been using it before makeup too. If you have dry skin, I think you'll find it doesn't make your skin oily even hours after application. It absorbs quickly and I haven't experienced any blemishes. With continued use, I've noticed my complexion becoming more vibrant. For reference, I only use a hydrating toner and this Clarins oil in my skincare routine.

  Cons

  The fragrance is very strong. It's likely to be a love-it-or-hate-it scent. While I find the smell quite unpleasant, I continue using it because the effects are so good.

  Tip

  I've found that applying a hydrating moisturizer and letting it absorb fully before using the oil seems to help the hydration penetrate deeper into the skin.

  I bought the Lotus product because I heard it controls sebum and feels lightweight. I like that it doesn't make my skin feel too greasy.

  Pros

  For an oil, it's surprisingly non-sticky. It's plant-based, they say. While I haven't tried it on my face, the areas where I've applied it feel well-hydrated.

  Cons

  The scent is off-putting. I wanted to return it, but accidentally spilled over half the bottle. Now I'm reluctantly using it only on extremely dry areas like elbows and heels. At this price point! The wide opening for the dropper means it gushes out if tipped over!

  Pros

  I started using this when my skin became dry in autumn. Even though it's an oil, it keeps my skin moisturized without feeling greasy. I'm really satisfied with it.

  Cons

  The seller told me it was safe for pregnant women to use and that it didn't contain any harmful ingredients. However, I've discovered it actually contains allergens. What a disappointment!

  Pros

  My skin is naturally very dry, so in winter it's often hard to get by with just one cream. But I found Clarins oil to be great on its own and also wonderful when mixed with cream. It absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling, which I really liked. The fragrance is lovely too!

  Cons

  Looking at it here, I was surprised to see it contains more potentially irritating ingredients than I expected. However, I personally never experienced any blemishes from it.

  Tip

  It's great how easy it is to mix with other products. Just add a drop or two with the dropper. In winter, I even mixed it with my foundation.
