I definitely recommend mixing it with a cream or emulsion. I don't understand why they use clear glass bottles instead of light-blocking amber ones. I get that hazelnut oil is expensive, but looking at just the base oil ingredients, it's not particularly impressive. Due to oxidation, it's recommended to use it all within 6 months of opening. The pro tip is to apply it generously.

To be honest, all three Clarins oils I tested were quite underwhelming compared to their fame... just my personal opinion though. The scent might be polarizing, reminiscent of a Southeast Asian herbal market. Despite being for dry skin, it's not as sticky or greasy as I expected when using just a drop or two.
