After popping a pimple, I apply this generously to my red and irritated skin before bed, and by morning my skin feels softer. The 150ml size allows for liberal application, and the mild scent makes it comfortable to use.
ConsThe absorption and application aren't great. In the second photo, taken after rubbing it in just ten times, you can see it pilling like a white cast. At first, I applied it thickly like a sheet mask, thinking the amount might be the issue. But even after trying different application methods, it kept pilling up pink. Using this alone also leaves my face feeling tight pretty quickly.
TipRather than relying on this product's hydrating properties and trying to get it to absorb, it seems better to use a different, sufficiently moisturizing product before bed and then layer this on top for its soothing effects.

This product was fragrance-free and caused zero irritation. In my opinion, it seems more focused on soothing than hydration. The inclusion of calamine suggests it's targeting skin irritated by face masks. It has a rich cream texture. When I applied it like a sleeping pack before bed, my skin felt soft and noticeably calmed the next morning when I washed my face.
ConsInitially, it feels moisturizing, but that sensation disappears quickly, and my skin even feels slightly tight after a while. I wondered if this was due to the calamine powder (similar to how physical sunscreens can be drying). Also, the formula doesn't absorb well into the skin, so you need to be careful with the amount you use to avoid pilling. I wouldn't use it during the day (and actually never have). I can't pinpoint any significant benefits, so I probably won't repurchase it with my own money. It doesn't seem to offer exceptional hydration, and I'm not sure if its soothing effects are truly remarkable either.

Cons- As someone who usually prefers products with more hydration, I found the initial application quite thick, causing significant pilling and a surface-level feeling (it absorbs slowly). - I was hoping it would help with redness, but I didn't see any noticeable effects in that area. - It feels too heavy for summer use. - Skin reactions can vary, so I tried it with my brother. While it was fine for me, he suddenly developed many blemishes and said it didn't suit him. For reference, my brother has very oily skin.
Tip- If you control the amount, it becomes less sticky and more usable.

Not only are there no harmful substances, but it's also free from allergens, and all ingredients are green-rated, so you can use it with peace of mind. I also liked that it's packed with calamine, fitting for a product focused on soothing. I especially appreciated the complete absence of artificial fragrances. It's close to being unscented. It seems safe enough for pregnant women and children to use without worry. Volume - As it's a soothing product, it's great that you can apply it generously on days when your skin isn't at its best. Conveniently, it comes in a 150ml size, so you can use it without hesitation. Hydration - As someone with dry skin, when I applied it before bed, the hydration lasted sufficiently until morning. It has great moisturizing power! Even when I applied it to my extremely dry calves, I felt the itching subside and the hydration last for a long time.
ConsApplication and Texture - The texture is a bit thick, so it takes some time to absorb. There's also a slight stickiness after application. Due to its thickness and stickiness, it can cause pilling when you apply sunscreen over it. It might be better suited for evening use rather than morning.

It's truly mild and soothing. That's why both my mother and I, with our sensitive skin, have been using it so well. There's no stickiness, like hair getting stuck to it. Instead, it feels like a protective layer is being applied. It's perfect for wearing under a mask when you're going out bare-faced. It really lives up to its name! For those with dry skin, you know how it can get when you try to moisturize and wear a mask in winter... But with this, there's no greasy shine from breathing under the mask! I didn't have high expectations, but the packaging is hygienic and pretty, and overall, I'm really pleased with it.
ConsThe application can be a bit tricky. It has a slightly ointment-like feel, despite being a cream, so it doesn't spread as smoothly. This means it can cause makeup to pill if applied beforehand, and it's difficult to layer thinly. If you're going to use it, I'd recommend applying it at night before bed or when going out without makeup. Also, this might vary from person to person, but while my mother found it fine, I felt it was a bit drying.
TipSince it feels like it creates a non-sticky layer but can be a bit drying, I often use it as a finishing layer over another moisturizer. Because it's hard to apply thinly, I recommend applying your desired amount all at once, whether it's a lot or a little. I found that works better! If you accidentally squeeze out too much, gently pat it in towards the end of application.

I had high hopes when applying this mask soothing cream. Those with super sensitive skin will know the struggle of blemishes popping up due to masks. I have sensitive, oily, combination dehydrated skin. - Skin texture improvement I applied it at night before bed, and my skin texture seemed somewhat evened out by morning! - Amount At 150ml, a little goes a long way. For this price and amount, I think it's a good deal!
Cons- Blemishes Perhaps due to the Scutellaria baicalensis root extract not agreeing with my skin, instead of soothing blemishes, more appeared after 3 days of use. Small blemishes popped up, even on my chin, forehead, and along the hairline, so I had to stop using it. - Absorption Since it's a mask cream, you'd apply it before putting on a mask to go out. However, when applied before makeup, it takes some time to absorb, so you need to wait. There's also some pilling. Because of this, during the 3 days I used it, I only applied it at night before bed instead of before makeup. - Application As shown in the photo, it's not something that spreads easily with just a few rubs. You need to keep applying and patting it in for a while. The cream has a somewhat thick consistency, so I had to pat it until it absorbed. It was disappointing that it didn't spread easily right away.

I used to have such resilient skin that I could go a day or two without removing makeup, stay up all night drinking, and still have people compliment my blemish-free complexion the next day. But masks were too much for even my strong skin to handle. The Maskcara Cream seems to be exactly what it claims - a product designed to improve mask-damaged skin. I think it's something I need, and probably many others too right now. While I'll need to use it more consistently to be sure, it's already a winner in my book because it doesn't cause irritation and has great ingredients. When you're dealing with blemishes, even fragrances can make your skin feel more sensitive and somehow more irritated, but the Maskcara Cream is unscented, which is great. It has a slight pink tint, probably due to the calamine content. The texture is a rich cream that absorbs well if you massage it in thoroughly. I'm already using a calamine-based cleanser, so I think this calamine-infused Maskcara will be good for my blemishes too.
ConsBecause of its rich texture, even though I tried to absorb it well, it tends to pill a bit when applied before makeup. I'd recommend it for those going makeup-free or as part of a nighttime routine!
TipIt doesn't seem to provide long-lasting hydration like a moisturizer. Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying, so it's best to think of it as a finishing cream to apply after thoroughly hydrating your skin in earlier steps of your routine.
