When I wake up after applying it before bed, my face doesn't feel greasy, but my skin feels deeply hydrated It seems better suited for nighttime care. If applied before makeup, it can leave a dry feeling - ko****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2022
I used this when my skin was irritated after laser treatment because the ingredients are gentle and helped soothe my skin. Perhaps because they've made it gentle without adding ingredients that improve absorption and spreadability, it takes a long time to absorb and just sits on the surface. I'm not sure if the good ingredients are actually being absorbed... At first, I felt deep dryness. You need to build a solid skincare base. Apply this after thoroughly layering your essences and other base products. It's difficult to expect sufficient hydration from this cream alone. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 9, 2022
Once absorbed, you can feel the deep hydration rising up, moisturizing even the innermost layers without leaving any oily residue. When first applied, it doesn't absorb well and sits on the surface. You need to use the warmth of your hands to help it absorb properly. - lm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 30, 2021
Fragrance-free with a slightly rich texture. Contains 67% Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract instead of purified water, which should help soothe the skin. It includes ceramides for hydration, madecassoside for calming, and panthenol for strengthening the skin barrier. As a product that has passed sensitivity testing, it definitely feels gentle when applied. The moisturizing power seems decent? I've never felt dry or tight after using this product. Maybe because of its rich texture? The absorption isn't great and it doesn't spread easily. It leaves the skin feeling slightly stuffy. While it's truly gentle, I'm not sure about its other appealing points. I don't have blemishes, so I can't speak to its effectiveness in soothing them. As for calming redness or heat, I find cooling effect pad products work better... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2021
My skin used to flake off when it was dry, but after applying this and sleeping, it stayed moisturized until morning The texture is a bit thick, so it might be a bit challenging to rub it in thoroughly - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 7, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It looks like a light pink acrylic paint, but it applies smoothly. It feels like it's melting into the skin. At first, it feels moisturizing and settles on the skin like a mud mask. However, after a few hours, it seems to disappear. For me, using it alone before bed was a bit disappointing. The container is short and wide, making it somewhat difficult to squeeze out. I couldn't really tell if it had any soothing effects. It seems this product needs sufficient time to absorb. I probably only experienced half of what this product can offer. - sh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's a large-capacity tube cream. The texture is thick and has a pink tint. A moisturizer that's good for winter use. It felt quite rich for my skin. Since it contains shea butter in the ingredients, those who don't tolerate it well should check carefully before purchasing. I couldn't use it properly, so I'm not sure if it's effective for mask-related blemishes. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 6, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I didn't have high expectations initially. After use: Upon trying it myself, I found it truly gentle, and I could feel it deeply hydrating my skin. I have combination dehydrated skin, which looks oily on the surface but is actually dry underneath. During seasonal changes or in this dry winter weather, my makeup would usually flake and separate, but those issues disappeared after using this! What I loved most: My skin had been so dry lately that the skin around my nose was peeling. After using this product, the peeling significantly improved, and now it doesn't peel at all! I used to be prone to blemishes, but this product has a calming effect on my skin. The frequency of breakouts has decreased, and even my acne scars seem to have faded. I was a bit disappointed that it felt more like it was moisturizing rather than giving an intense hydration sensation! When applying the product, you can experience its smooth absorption by spreading it like an emulsion! I recommend applying it thinly two or three times instead of just once! Instead of spreading it, try patting it in with your hands. The Maskcare Calamine Cream becomes more elastic when patted, so continuously patting it in seems to work better than spreading it. - fk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 6, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I was thrilled to be selected by The Hwahae Testers to try this product! Despite my skin being easily irritated and prone to blemishes, I didn't experience any irritation while using this. I think it's because of the great ingredients. It's not particularly hydrating and doesn't have a rich feel, so if you don't have dry skin, it's a decent cream with good ingredients. As expected, for my dry skin, this product is too drying to use consistently. It's especially challenging to use in winter. I recommend applying this product after your toner or skin, and then make sure to follow up with an emulsion or hydrating cream! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Application and Absorption: - It's a heavy, slightly sticky cream type. At first, it seemed to sit on the surface, but surprisingly, it suddenly absorbs into the skin completely. Moisturizing Power: - It feels like it firmly wraps around the skin, so I think it has excellent moisturizing power. - In winter, my face usually becomes extremely dry, thin as paper, but after using this, my skin felt more resilient! - When I apply it in the evening and wake up in the morning, I can definitely feel the hydration has built up. - It seems to lock in moisture tightly, preventing it from escaping. Perhaps due to the ceramide content, my thin skin barrier feels more elastic and thicker. Recommended for: - It might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin, so I recommend it for dry, extremely dry, and combination dehydrated skin types. I usually don't get blemishes easily, but recently, probably due to stress, I had several breakouts on my cheeks. The product contains calamine and Scutellaria baicalensis extract, so I had high hopes for its soothing effects, but honestly, I didn't see significant results. While the skin barrier strengthening and hydration were the biggest merits for my dry skin, it couldn't really calm down my pimples. This aspect was a bit disappointing. Also, because the cream has quite a heavy texture, you can't apply it in the morning - only in the evening. Otherwise, your makeup will pill badly. I think it's best suited for evening application.
