I bought this because I heard it's great for tiny bumps and blemishes on the eye area, and I trust Aesop's reputation. It's quite pricey for the amount you get. The effects aren't really as dramatic as I'd hoped... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesDead Skin CellsOct 25, 2023
It feels refreshing and cooling when applied. I think it might not be bad if used consistently. The sticky texture is disappointing, and I couldn't really notice any significant benefits. - hc*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 31, 2023
I had a lot of small blemishes below my jawline that I touched, causing them to spread and become inflamed, even leading to hyperpigmentation. A sales associate at the Aesop store highly recommended this product, so I applied it only to the troubled areas after toner at night. Amazingly, about 80% of the bumpy blemishes calmed down. It seems to soothe almost all blemishes when used in the early stages. I think it's due to the salicylic acid (though I'm not sure of the percentage) - it's truly the best for oily, acne-prone skin. As for the texture, while it looks like it might be very sticky based on its gel-ointment form, it doesn't feel sticky at all once it's been on for a while. While I don't have any complaints yet, the price is quite high for the amount you get. Its compact size makes it easy to carry around and apply as needed throughout the day. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2021
I have thin, sensitive skin, and this product has been the most effective for me whenever I get blemishes. When I apply it to red, itchy spots, it quickly soothes and calms them down. I've tried so many spot treatments over the years, but this one works best for me. I think I'll be using it for life! The product itself is really great... If I had to nitpick, the only slight annoyance is that it gets a bit messy around the tube cap. - go*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 30, 2020
Can be applied frequently to blemish spots. The texture is like a slightly runny gel that's still firm. Surprisingly lightweight with excellent absorption. The scent reminds me of TheraFlu - cool and tangy. While it definitely helped soothe blemishes, it took about a week of consistent use to see a 90% improvement. The effects aren't dramatic and it's not a quick fix. Unfortunately, the small amount runs out quickly with regular use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 28, 2020
This product is a real gem. I get anxious if I don't have it, so I need to stock up on it like crazy. It's small and expensive. The price is such a shame, and it's so tiny, really tiny. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2019
I kept whining about my skin breaking out, so I got this as a gift! I heard it's good to dab it on big blemishes before bed, but I don't really get those huge ones - just tiny bumps and small pimples. Still, I'm determined to use it, so I'm squeezing out a pea-sized amount and spreading it all over. After finishing my skincare routine, I apply this, then tie my hair up tight and wait for it to absorb. Otherwise, my hair sticks to my whole face! I'm using it freely since it was a gift. If I had to buy it with my own money, it would be way too expensive! If you apply it thinly and spread it well, it should last a long time. - dl*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessJun 13, 2019
Compared to tea tree-based oils or gels I've used before, this one has a milder, less intense scent. That means even though it's oil-based, I can apply it in the morning and reapply as needed without it being overpowering. It's expensive for such a tiny amount - it runs out so quickly. I'm not exaggerating, even when I used it generously without trying to conserve it, it only lasted about three days. It's really disappointing. I'd love to buy more and keep using it, but unless you're wealthy, it's hard to justify continuing with this product. Its effectiveness is similar to regular tea tree gels, and the formula seems designed for minimal use. I'm satisfied having tried it once, but I'll be going back to my usual strong-scented tea tree gel. - tp*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 7, 2019
This product is a real gem! When my seborrheic dermatitis flares up at work, causing sudden itching, I generously apply this cream. It usually takes about three applications every couple of hours, but by the time I get home in the evening, I'm much more comfortable. It really helps calm my skin. What's great is that the lightweight formula allows me to apply it even over makeup without any issues. The size is disappointingly small. Considering the price, which is quite high, I use it up too quickly, which is a shame. Apply multiple layers on itchy skin, even after applying makeup - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2018
This product was a lifesaver for my skin when it became super sensitive due to stress at my college prep academy. It protected my skin during those times when blemishes would pop up at the slightest provocation. The price was admittedly a bit steep, but I don't have any major complaints. While the amount might seem small, I used it sparingly, just dabbing it on specific areas like you would with an antibiotic cream. It lasted about 6 months, and during that time, I noticed a decrease in how often blemishes appeared, which definitely contributed to its longevity.
