First off, I love the product packaging. It's a slightly transparent plastic or glass container that looks simple yet elegant. The applicator is a dropper-style, which I found hygienic. The product itself is clear and has a silky texture. When applied to the face, it absorbs quickly, leaving a thin, almost imperceptible layer. Overall, it feels lightweight when spread across the skin, making it easy and pleasant to use.
ConsIt does leave a slight oily residue, and the dropper can be a bit difficult to squeeze. Other than that, I'm satisfied.
TipWhen I layered it as Dokdo Skin -> Ampoule -> Dokdo Emulsion, my skin felt incredibly hydrated!

It's not too heavy or too light - just the right weight. Initially, it has a runny texture, but it turns into a water-like consistency when you spread it with your hands. I'd give it full marks for absorption. It absorbs instantly, even on skin that hasn't been exfoliated. Unlike some ampoules that feel like they're just sitting on top of the skin due to heavy formulations or excessive ingredients, the Seacilt Repair Ampoule's absorption is incredibly impressive. For hydration, it provides moisture rather than oiliness. It gives a feeling of firm hydration, making the skin feel moist and smooth. I highly recommend it for those prone to blemishes or with super sensitive skin. Despite my skin being so sensitive that even slight contact with synthetic fibers can cause itching and irritation, I had no issues with this product. In fact, I wanted to fully experience its effects, so I did a skincare diet, focusing solely on this product for hydration. Even then, there was no dryness or tightness, and the moisturizing effect lasted quite long. It doesn't dry out even in hot environments or before two days have passed. You can apply this in the morning, followed by a richer product, and when you cleanse in the evening, your skin still feels great. I especially want skeptics to try this - you might even be able to do a skincare diet like me, relying on this product.
ConsI wish the dropper cap or the bottle had some kind of groove to make it easier to twist open. It's difficult to open the smooth bottle with wet hands after cleansing. While this is common for most cosmetic containers, improving this would make it the ultimate product. (Also, a transparent cap might look prettier - a beautiful container makes you want to use the product more!)
TipIf you're not looking for a rich feel from this product, after cleansing, quickly tone your skin with a cotton pad, then apply about a coin-sized amount of this ampoule all over your face, followed immediately by a richer cream for best results!

The texture is slightly sticky and has a rich consistency, but once it absorbs, it doesn't feel sticky at all. I love how quickly it absorbs into the skin. When applied, my skin feels moisturized with great hydration. It's perfect for keeping skin hydrated in this dry weather! As for the scent, while I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, I prefer unscented products over those with unpleasant smells. This one is nearly fragrance-free, which I appreciate. I also like that the container is transparent, allowing me to see how much product is left. The dropper design makes for hygienic application, which is another plus in my book.
ConsThose who prefer lightweight formulas might find this a bit heavy. While the dropper is hygienic, I found the pumping mechanism a bit inconvenient. You need to press the top of the cap, but it doesn't depress easily. It would be better if the pumping action was smoother and easier to use. I also found it challenging to control the amount of product dispensed.
TipI found it works even better when mixed with a cream or emulsion for extra hydration.

It's incredibly moisturizing! As someone with dry skin, this product was perfect for me. (The Klavuu website mentioned it's great for dry skin, which made it even better.) 2. Compared to my previous serums that absorbed quickly but didn't provide long-lasting hydration, this one really locks in moisture. I swim in the morning and cleanse three times a day, but since using this, I can feel the hydration deep within my skin. 3. It absorbs quickly. There's a slight stickiness, but it's negligible due to how fast it sinks in. 4. The soothing effect was surprisingly good. I didn't expect much in terms of calming, but it helped reduce blemishes within about 30 minutes. While not dramatic, the quick improvement was noticeable. 5. Despite being a brightening product, it seems gentle on the skin. My skin is usually sensitive to whitening products, often breaking out after using brightening masks. However, this one didn't cause any issues, which was a pleasant surprise. 6. It's nearly fragrance-free, which is great for those sensitive to scents like me. 7. The design is clean and attractive. The overall blue packaging with a white cap gives it a sleek, pretty look.
ConsThe dropper is a bit inconvenient. Being at the top makes it awkward to apply directly to the face. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.

Let me summarize the key points: 1. Beast-sized volume Compared to other ampoules, the price-to-volume ratio is fantastic. You can apply it generously without worrying about running out. Usually, I have to be stingy with other products, but with this one, I can moisturize my entire face without hesitation. 2. Absorbs quickly As someone with combination dehydrated skin, most creams and ampoules tend to sit on top of my skin and turn greasy over time. This one feels hydrating when applied, and as I pat it in, I can feel my skin drinking it up. It's not heavy even when used with other creams. 3. Minimal oil production The biggest concerns for combination dehydrated skin are dead skin cells and excess oil. With this product, I don't feel greasy even after sleeping with it on. Other creams and ampoules usually leave my face looking like an oil slick in the morning... 4. Improved skin texture After two weeks of use, I haven't seen dramatic improvements in brightening or wrinkles, but my skin texture has significantly improved. I can definitely feel the difference every time I apply my skincare after cleansing.
Cons1. Since it's winter now, those with dry skin might feel a bit of dryness after using this for a while. I'd recommend using it with an oil or a richer cream. 2. The pump button takes some getting used to, which makes controlling the amount a bit tricky. I'm sure it'll be convenient once you get the hang of it...
TipFor those struggling with dosage control, try pressing the pump once firmly, then adjust the pressure when dispensing onto your skin to control the amount!

Until this event, I hadn't heard of Klavuu, but I'm glad I got to try this new brand! I'll keep it brief to avoid boring you. Absorption: ★★★★★ (absorbs without leaving any residue) Scent: ★★★ (I like that it's unscented, but there's a slight industrial smell) Application: ★★★★★ (spreads smoothly)
ConsEvery product has its pros and cons, right? While it absorbs quickly, it doesn't feel like it's deeply hydrating. It somewhat helps with deep dryness, but it also leaves the skin surface matte. Even after applying two layers, there's still a slight tightness.
TipFor best results, I recommend using a mist first, then a toner to prep the skin, followed by this ampoule. This should help minimize deep dryness. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found that layering it too much can lead to some pilling. That's a bit disappointing. Given it's winter, pairing this ampoule with a richer cream to lock in the moisture might work well. That's all from this Hwahae Tester. I apologize for not being able to cover every detail!

If I were to evaluate this cosmetic for myself, I'd say: 'Absorption: Excellent 'Absorption rate: Average 'Hydration: Very good The absorption was perfect for me, as it's a crucial factor. With my super sensitive skin that tends to redden even with ointment-like creams, this product's high moisture content and smooth application were ideal. I loved that I could apply it without any worries! While the absorption rate wasn't quick to dry, which was good, I did find myself patting it in for quite a while to help it absorb fully. As for hydration, I typically experience severe deep dryness due to my combination dehydrated skin. However, during these two weeks of use, I didn't notice any significant deep dryness.
ConsWhen I first received it, I was intrigued by the unique dropper design, different from the typical ones sold. I thought, 'Oh, this might be more hygienic!' However, I found it a bit - just a tiny bit - inconvenient to use as I wasn't accustomed to it. Apart from this, I haven't found any other drawbacks yet.
TipMy skincare routine goes: exfoliating toner, peeling pads, Houttuynia cordata ampoule, repair ampoule, serum, hydrating cream, and regenerating cream. I've found that mixing a few drops of the repair ampoule with the hydrating cream after initially applying the repair ampoule has improved the somewhat lacking absorption. I'm quite satisfied with how I'm using it now.

My boyfriend and I used it together for two weeks. When applied alone before bed, it can feel a bit dry. However, when layered with another cream, we wake up feeling fresh without any deep dryness! The texture is initially sticky, but it absorbs well once you pat it in, and there's no pilling with makeup. It seems to help a bit with brightening and improving fine lines!
ConsAs for downsides... there aren't really any! Though if you're not a fan of dropper-style packaging, this might not be for you.
TipFor best results, try applying the ampoule right after using a toner, following exfoliation during cleansing. Top it off with a slightly rich cream to lock in the ampoule. This helps ensure the ampoule's benefits don't evaporate!

My skin is prone to reactions, so I'm always careful about ingredients. I was pleased to find that this product doesn't contain any risky components! The pump-style dropper cap allows for hygienic use, so I can apply it without worry. I love the finish - it's lightweight, absorbs well, and doesn't feel sticky (when applied in the right amount). I usually use this after cleansing and applying an exfoliating toner. When I tried it on some blemishes, it helped calm them down without making things worse, which I really appreciate! That's why I've been using it consistently both morning and night. Personally, I would definitely repurchase!
ConsWhile the non-sticky and fresh finish is nice, it can feel a bit lacking in hydration. So, if you have dry skin, I definitely recommend following up with a moisturizing cream! This product might be better suited for those with sensitive or oily skin. Also, the pump-style dropper makes it a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed, which is slightly disappointing.
TipI find that applying a hydrating cream after this product helps to make up for any lack of moisture! While I'd need to try it in summer to be sure, I think those with oily skin might find it light and pleasant enough to use on its own as a layering product!

Even the slightest mismatch can cause a reaction, but this product suited me perfectly without any issues! The ingredients are gentle and it effectively combats dryness without being too heavy, so I think it'll be great for winter use. I noticed some reviews mentioning it's quite rich, and while I initially thought 'Oh, it does feel a bit oily,' I've been using it under my moisturizer and makeup without any pilling. It actually seems to absorb well into the skin!
ConsIt's not easy to control the amount dispensed. I prefer applying products generously, so it's a bit frustrating having to pump multiple times to gather enough product. I had some small blemishes and was hoping my skin might calm down a bit, but I didn't see any dramatic improvements. However, I'm satisfied that at least no new blemishes have appeared!
