No harmful ingredients, fragrance-free, and doesn't dry out the skin Just because a product has good ingredients doesn't mean it will suit my skin. I saw other reviews mentioning small blemishes and thought, 'Surely that won't happen to me.' But after applying it for two days, my skin reacted badly. I got red, tiny blemishes and have been itchy for four days. Even though it's meant for sensitive skin, it seems to vary from person to person. For those with super sensitive skin like me, I strongly recommend trying a sample first before purchasing the full-size product. - gg*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2019
As someone with combination sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I was worried about using the wrong products. Thankfully, I could request free samples from their website to try before buying. So far, no blemishes have appeared, and the lightweight formula is gentle on my skin. It's not too sticky either. My skin feels firmer and more supple. While I'm not sure about its wrinkle-improving effects, I don't have any other complaints. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2019
This is my honest review after purchasing and using the product with my own money. It has a runny texture that you apply with a dropper. No blemishes or skin issues occurred. It's gentle on the skin! The hydration level is just right. There's nothing particularly outstanding about it. I have sensitive skin, so I'll admit it's gentle since it doesn't cause any small bumps or acne. But I don't feel like 'Wow, this is great!' I probably won't repurchase, but I'll use up the whole bottle. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2019
There are no downsides to this product. When applied, it makes your face sparkle like it's drenched in moisture. It's especially effective when used in the morning before foundation - you'll achieve that coveted 'glass skin' look! I can't say I particularly notice this product's performance. Still, it's good. - db*********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 3, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have combination dehydrated skin with an extremely oily T-zone (butterfly zone, nose, and forehead), while my cheeks and chin are painfully dry. My skin is also prone to blemishes, and I absolutely hate sticky products. Additionally, my skin doesn't react well to aloe or tea tree. * Value for money: Offline - 34,000 won Online - mid to late 20,000 won range * Application: I used only this ampoule for over 2 weeks before bed! When dispensed with the dropper, it's clear and lightweight like a toner. It absorbs quickly when applied to the face. It feels like an extra layer of oil on the skin. If you apply too much, it can pill like dead skin cells. * Hydration: Because it absorbs quickly, the feeling of hydration doesn't last long. However, when I use it before bed, my skin feels very hydrated the next morning. * Stickiness: The finish is matte with no residue. On a stickiness scale of 1-10, I'd rate it 1-2. I usually avoid applying products because I dislike stickiness, but I'm happy using just this one before bed. It absorbs so quickly that it feels almost matte. Also, it's a bit disappointing that it pills like dead skin cells if you apply too much. On the bright side, it doesn't cause any blemishes. I used this product alone. In fact, if I layer it with other products, the pilling gets worse. I recommend applying it in the evening before bed. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It's especially great for dry skin - my dryness symptoms have significantly improved and my skin feels less cracked. The packaging is a bit inconvenient, making it somewhat difficult to use. Please consider changing to a more user-friendly container. It works well when mixed with snail cream in a 1:2 ratio! - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJan 2, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I was selected as a Hwahae Tester and I'm here to share my review after using this product for 16 days. Packaging: It has a clean, no-frills design that's lightweight and shatterproof since it's not made of glass. I really appreciate that it's not overly focused on aesthetics. The dropper seems to be of good quality. It dispenses the product with a consistent weight, if you will, giving it a stable feel rather than gushing out all at once. Now, about my skin: I have decreased elasticity and extremely dry skin that always causes my makeup to flake without oil. While I'm not severely sensitive, I do get red blemishes when using incompatible products. I don't usually get acne. The serum's texture isn't watery, but has a slight viscosity. I have enlarged pores in my T-zone, and when I pat this serum on, I can feel my skin's elasticity temporarily reviving. It's incredibly hydrating and not only maintains that hydration but also improves elasticity. Usually, my makeup doesn't last without oil, but with this Klavuu serum, following a routine of toner > serum > moisturizer > sunscreen > foundation, my makeup stays dewy for about 7 hours. And that's coming from someone who typically can't wear makeup without oil! While the hydration and elasticity improvements are noticeably visible, the brightening effect is just so-so. However, I'm so impressed with the hydration and elasticity benefits that I plan to repurchase. I think it's great for those with dry skin. I'm not sure if there's any improvement in terms of brightening. The quantity might not be enough for those who like to apply products generously. After applying toner and serum, gently pat it in with your fingers. It absorbs well, and you can see an immediate lifting effect on your pores, making them appear smaller. - ol**********Oily SkinRecommendedJan 1, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, I love the product packaging. It's a slightly transparent plastic or glass container that looks simple yet elegant. The applicator is a dropper-style, which I found hygienic. The product itself is clear and has a silky texture. When applied to the face, it absorbs quickly, leaving a thin, almost imperceptible layer. Overall, it feels lightweight when spread across the skin, making it easy and pleasant to use. It does leave a slight oily residue, and the dropper can be a bit difficult to squeeze. Other than that, I'm satisfied. When I layered it as Dokdo Skin -> Ampoule -> Dokdo Emulsion, my skin felt incredibly hydrated! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 1, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I've been using this product consistently, and my skin suddenly improved, so I'm updating my review...!!!! First off, it really helps makeup adhere well! I can guarantee that. You can feel the base absorbing into your skin smoothly. Except for the points I mentioned in the downsides, it seems really gentle. I used it on my forehead and cheeks where I have blemishes, and there was no irritation at all. ------ I applied two drops twice, both morning and evening. After using just this product consistently, my skin improved a bit. I'm not sure if it's because my skin was due for an improvement anyway... The photos are in before and after order. It might be a bit disappointing for use on all skin types. In winter, I tend to get something like angular cheilitis around my mouth, making that area particularly sensitive and dry. When I applied this product around my mouth, it stung quite a bit, even extending to the area where a mustache would grow. Other skincare products didn't cause this issue, it seems to be unique to this one. I'm not sure which ingredient caused the irritation, but I experienced some stinging around my mouth area. Please be cautious. I broke out when I applied too much. I tend to get blemishes if a product is even slightly oily or doesn't suit me... It doesn't seem oily, so I'm not sure what caused it. Even if I applied just a little bit more than usual, it left a noticeably sticky residue! N/A - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJan 1, 2019Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I had high hopes when I was selected as a Hwahae Tester, as there were no components that could cause blemishes or clog pores. I appreciated the convenience of the dropper, which allowed me to easily control the amount used. It didn't have that instant absorption feeling when applied. Instead, it felt like spreading the leftover essence from a sheet mask packet, leaving a sticky residue. The tacky sensation was quite unpleasant. When I added a dropper-full to my DIY face mask, it felt a bit more hydrating than usual.
