ConsJust because a product has good ingredients doesn't mean it will suit my skin. I saw other reviews mentioning small blemishes and thought, 'Surely that won't happen to me.' But after applying it for two days, my skin reacted badly. I got red, tiny blemishes and have been itchy for four days. Even though it's meant for sensitive skin, it seems to vary from person to person. For those with super sensitive skin like me, I strongly recommend trying a sample first before purchasing the full-size product.

It's especially great for dry skin - my dryness symptoms have significantly improved and my skin feels less cracked.
ConsThe packaging is a bit inconvenient, making it somewhat difficult to use. Please consider changing to a more user-friendly container.
TipIt works well when mixed with snail cream in a 1:2 ratio!

The texture is slightly sticky and has a rich consistency, but once it absorbs, it doesn't feel sticky at all. I love how quickly it absorbs into the skin. When applied, my skin feels moisturized with great hydration. It's perfect for keeping skin hydrated in this dry weather! As for the scent, while I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, I prefer unscented products over those with unpleasant smells. This one is nearly fragrance-free, which I appreciate. I also like that the container is transparent, allowing me to see how much product is left. The dropper design makes for hygienic application, which is another plus in my book.
ConsThose who prefer lightweight formulas might find this a bit heavy. While the dropper is hygienic, I found the pumping mechanism a bit inconvenient. You need to press the top of the cap, but it doesn't depress easily. It would be better if the pumping action was smoother and easier to use. I also found it challenging to control the amount of product dispensed.
TipI found it works even better when mixed with a cream or emulsion for extra hydration.

This must be due to the absence of harmful ingredients in its formulation! ->Even with a solid skincare routine after cleansing, the dry winter air and indoor heating can still leave skin parched. However, after consistently applying this ampoule, I noticed a significant improvement in deep dryness and overall dehydration. It really delivers a hydration boost! When I apply it before bed, my skin stays moisturized until morning, allowing my makeup to go on smoothly without any patchiness the next day. ->My skin is prone to blemishes and redness due to its sensitivity, but after using this ampoule, I've seen a notable reduction in redness!
Cons->I found that applying it before makeup in the morning caused my foundation to pill. So I preferred using it in the evening! ->While the texture felt rich when applied, I noticed that sometimes it felt sticky depending on my skin condition, even when using the same amount. Those who dislike a sticky feeling should keep this in mind! ->Unlike most ampoules that have an easy-to-press rubber top on the dropper, this one requires pressing from the top. It was a bit inconvenient at first, but I quickly got used to it!

I'm a female student about to turn 17. Until last year, I only applied emulsion to my face, but now that I'm paying attention to hydration, I don't experience any tightness, and when I occasionally wear makeup, it doesn't flake or emphasize dead skin cells. Before receiving the ampoule, my skincare routine was toner -> emulsion -> moisturizer. I used the ampoule after toner, 4-6 drops every morning and night! Pros: 1. Great ingredients I have slightly sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any stinging or redness. It really doesn't contain harmful ingredients and has many natural extracts. 2. Excellent hydration Before getting this ampoule, I occasionally used essences, but even after applying moisturizer, the hydration would quickly evaporate or my skin would feel dry inside. With this, I never felt a lack of hydration even after being exposed to cold wind or waking up on a dry day. 3. The button-type dropper is not bad While I can't say it's significantly better than a rubber dropper, it felt a bit more hygienic.
ConsCons: 1. It's expensive Well... if it weren't for The Hwahae Testers opportunity, as a student without much money, I probably wouldn't have purchased it. 2. It's a bit sticky Of course, I didn't mind the stickiness. I thought it might be because it doesn't contain synthetic chemicals, so it doesn't absorb instantly. Oddly enough, when I applied moisturizer afterward, my skin felt smooth again.
TipWhile I can't strongly recommend it to those with oily skin since I don't have that skin type, I absolutely recommend it for dry skin types! My under-eye area and between my brows were extremely dry, with a lot of flaking, and they used to feel like they would crack in the slightest cold wind. Now my skin feels much more hydrated, plump, and soft. If you can invest this much in an ampoule, go for it!

It's incredibly moisturizing! As someone with dry skin, this product was perfect for me. (The Klavuu website mentioned it's great for dry skin, which made it even better.) 2. Compared to my previous serums that absorbed quickly but didn't provide long-lasting hydration, this one really locks in moisture. I swim in the morning and cleanse three times a day, but since using this, I can feel the hydration deep within my skin. 3. It absorbs quickly. There's a slight stickiness, but it's negligible due to how fast it sinks in. 4. The soothing effect was surprisingly good. I didn't expect much in terms of calming, but it helped reduce blemishes within about 30 minutes. While not dramatic, the quick improvement was noticeable. 5. Despite being a brightening product, it seems gentle on the skin. My skin is usually sensitive to whitening products, often breaking out after using brightening masks. However, this one didn't cause any issues, which was a pleasant surprise. 6. It's nearly fragrance-free, which is great for those sensitive to scents like me. 7. The design is clean and attractive. The overall blue packaging with a white cap gives it a sleek, pretty look.
ConsThe dropper is a bit inconvenient. Being at the top makes it awkward to apply directly to the face. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.

If I were to evaluate this cosmetic for myself, I'd say: 'Absorption: Excellent 'Absorption rate: Average 'Hydration: Very good The absorption was perfect for me, as it's a crucial factor. With my super sensitive skin that tends to redden even with ointment-like creams, this product's high moisture content and smooth application were ideal. I loved that I could apply it without any worries! While the absorption rate wasn't quick to dry, which was good, I did find myself patting it in for quite a while to help it absorb fully. As for hydration, I typically experience severe deep dryness due to my combination dehydrated skin. However, during these two weeks of use, I didn't notice any significant deep dryness.
ConsWhen I first received it, I was intrigued by the unique dropper design, different from the typical ones sold. I thought, 'Oh, this might be more hygienic!' However, I found it a bit - just a tiny bit - inconvenient to use as I wasn't accustomed to it. Apart from this, I haven't found any other drawbacks yet.
TipMy skincare routine goes: exfoliating toner, peeling pads, Houttuynia cordata ampoule, repair ampoule, serum, hydrating cream, and regenerating cream. I've found that mixing a few drops of the repair ampoule with the hydrating cream after initially applying the repair ampoule has improved the somewhat lacking absorption. I'm quite satisfied with how I'm using it now.

My boyfriend and I used it together for two weeks. When applied alone before bed, it can feel a bit dry. However, when layered with another cream, we wake up feeling fresh without any deep dryness! The texture is initially sticky, but it absorbs well once you pat it in, and there's no pilling with makeup. It seems to help a bit with brightening and improving fine lines!
ConsAs for downsides... there aren't really any! Though if you're not a fan of dropper-style packaging, this might not be for you.
TipFor best results, try applying the ampoule right after using a toner, following exfoliation during cleansing. Top it off with a slightly rich cream to lock in the ampoule. This helps ensure the ampoule's benefits don't evaporate!

Unlike a lightweight hydrating serum, it has a slightly heavier texture. When applied, it feels like it creates a protective layer on the skin. While absorption is a bit slow, you can really feel the moisturizing effect. 1-2 pumps are usually enough, but for my nighttime routine, I layered it 4 times for a richer application. It made my skin look incredibly dewy and beautiful. I love the 'glass skin' makeup look, and I think this product would create a perfect base for a dewy cushion foundation. With 2 pumps, it wasn't too sticky, but with 4 pumps, there was a noticeable tackiness. However, it also made my skin feel firm, so the stickiness didn't bother me. I appreciated that it provided great hydration without feeling heavy on the skin. Thanks to its good ingredients, it didn't cause any irritation and felt comfortable on my skin. The synergy with makeup is fantastic! It doesn't cause pilling, and while it doesn't give an intense shine, it creates a beautiful subtle glow. The serum effect is great - I'll definitely use this before makeup from now on. Two pumps help lock in moisture, strengthen my skin barrier, and give my makeup a radiant finish. It's truly a holy grail product. For a serum, the amount is quite generous. While it's not cheap, compared to other small-sized expensive serums, the volume is satisfyingly large. Unlike those tiny serums that make you hesitant to use liberally, this one allows you to apply generously even down to your neck. I love the beast-sized amount!
ConsThe pump-style packaging, where you press to dispense the product, requires quite a bit of force to use. I found this inconvenient and would have preferred a dropper. Most serums I've used had dropper applicators, so while I was excited for something different, this aspect was a bit disappointing. In terms of moisturizing power, it's great - I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10. However, it falls short on hydration. I had to use a separate hydrating serum first, followed by this product for moisture. It would have been perfect if this one product could provide both hydration and moisture, allowing for a one-step routine. That's the main drawback for me.
TipI mixed a few drops with my semi-matte cushion foundation, and it improved both the texture and addressed some dryness issues. If you have a cushion that's great overall but feels a bit dry in winter, try adding a few drops of this serum. It's a great way to repurpose cushions that might otherwise go to waste!

I decided to jot down my daily impressions: Day 1: Has a runny texture, applies smoothly, and absorbs quickly. Feels slightly sticky after application. Didn't feel like it deeply hydrated from within. Day 2: Applied more generously - definitely absorbed slower than yesterday, giving a better moisturizing effect. Even with a liberal application, it didn't feel heavy. Not very oily, but still a bit sticky. Day 3: Seems to moisturize well. Small blemishes appeared on forehead and below lips - not sure if it's related, need to observe more. Day 4: No significant changes. Day 5: Didn't feel dry upon waking up. Day 6: Initially thought it absorbed too quickly to provide deep hydration, but that was likely due to very dry skin. After 6 days, I notice I need less product for the same moisturizing effect. Day 7: Skin texture feels improved - soft and smooth. Day 8: Previously had visible dead skin cells despite moisturizing well due to weather, but that's reduced significantly. Day 9: Noticing improved complexion. Skin tone becoming more even with my natural undertone. Day 10: Woke up with skin neither dry nor oily, just a healthy slight glow. Skin condition feels much improved. The blemishes that appeared on Day 3 cleared up quickly and were likely due to fatigue or other factors, not the product. I didn't use this product alone in my skincare routine. Since it's not very rich, I applied it after an oil mist. In the mornings before makeup, I alternated between using an emulsion+cream or oil. To really test this product's benefits, I only used an oil mist and this serum at night. It really seems effective for hydration! I was surprised to see my skin tone gradually becoming more even - turns out it has brightening ingredients. While I can't be 100% certain, this product seems to be helping as none of my other products would explain the improvement.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say it can feel sticky if you apply too much, which is typical for serums. Also, if you need extra oil in your routine, you'll need to use a separate product for that.
