Although it doesn't seem to contain oil, the texture felt like an oil ampoule. (My skin doesn't agree with oils, except for 'like oil' products.) As someone with sensitive, dry skin, I often react badly to functional ampoules, getting redness and irritation. However, this product didn't cause any such issues, making it comfortable to use. I have atopic dermatitis around my mouth, and on days when it was severe, there was a slight tingling sensation. Although it felt a bit warm, it quickly subsided without causing further irritation, which I appreciated. Being a functional ampoule, it felt slightly oily and heavy. Applying it once or twice was enough to give a slightly shiny and smooth feeling. However, if you gently pat and massage it in, it absorbs quickly. I use a cica cream, and when I applied this ampoule before the cream, it reduced the greasy and heavy feeling. Once absorbed, it leaves the skin feeling firm. Even after applying just the ampoule twice before going out, my skin didn't feel dry or irritated. It felt like it created a protective barrier, which seems great for dry skin. When I apply a generous amount before bed, like a sleeping mask, my skin feels incredibly firm and supple in the morning. I found this ampoule most effective for improving skin elasticity. After about two weeks of use, I noticed my complexion looked brighter, so I've started applying it to my neck as well.
ConsI usually layer all my skincare products at least twice, but this ampoule felt too greasy and heavy for that. When I layered it three times and applied makeup, it tended to pill slightly. Also, I noticed some small blemishes appearing... When I reduced the layering to twice or less and used smaller amounts, the blemishes stopped appearing and it felt less heavy. It felt more rich than hydrating, so when my skin was dehydrated, it felt like the product was sitting on top of my skin while still feeling dry underneath. It's expensive... Of course, given its functionality and gentle ingredients, it might be worth it. Because it feels like it creates an oily film on the skin, it tends to attract dust and particles.
TipApplying a small amount in one layer and massaging it in for absorption gives the best firming effect! If it feels too greasy, applying a slightly matte cream or cica cream afterwards can help! It's a great shield against harsh winter winds! Your face won't feel irritated or inflamed. If you have dehydrated skin, I recommend applying a viscous toner or serum generously, then this ampoule, followed by a light cream!

First off, my skin has been super sensitive lately, and anything I apply wrong can cause immediate reactions. However, this product didn't cause any blemishes, which was great. It has a slightly sticky texture that feels like it's creating an overall moisturizing barrier. Initially, it seemed to sit on top of the skin, but once you help it absorb well, it's fine and gives your skin a nice glow. If you only apply this, it might feel a bit tight, but it's much better if you focus on deep hydration before applying. Since it's winter now, a slight tightness seems unavoidable, but applying a thin layer of cream on top helps. I have combination dehydrated skin, so if a product is too rich, it feels heavy and causes blemishes. This one isn't excessively oily, which I liked. Also, perhaps due to the madecassoside ingredient, when I applied it before bed after my skin had flared up with blemishes, it was calmed down by morning. It also contains panthenol, which is good for the skin barrier. Overall, it feels like it's creating a protective layer, so with consistent use, I feel like my skin will become healthier. Since this requires long-term use to see effects, I'll use it more and leave an additional review later!
ConsWhile it does feel like it creates a moisturizing barrier on the surface, with the current weather, you need to pay extra attention to deep hydration. It doesn't fully provide deep hydration and feels slightly tight. It's better to apply a hydrating gel-like product before this or layer a thin cream on top. Also, it absorbs a bit slowly and leaves a slightly sticky finish, so I don't use it when applying makeup - only before bed or when going out bare-faced! Lastly, the amount that comes up in the dropper is small, so you need to pump it several times, which is a bit inconvenient. Each pump provides enough for about one area of the face.
