Due to my sensitive skin, I was unable to settle on a single basic skincare product and had been looking around at various products. This time, I was selected for the event and got to try the Calming Bell Toner. While writing this event review, I promise to tell only the facts. The most satisfying thing was that after using the toner for about 2 weeks, I didn't experience any stinging or a feeling of my skin being turned upside down. Also, the formula itself was not too watery, so it provided adequate moisture. However, since I have super dry skin, I had to apply it twice to get a moisturized feeling. ㅠㅠ
ConsWhen I select products that suit me, I look for four things: First, that it doesn't sting or turn my skin upside down. Second, that it helps control dryness. Third, no excessive sebum secretion. Fourth, soothing of blemishes. This product met the first two criteria, but I didn't see the effects for the third and fourth. ㅠㅠ Even though it didn't cause any breakouts and provided moisture, I didn't get the feeling that it improved my skin, so I deducted one star.
TipFor those with different skin types from mine, this product might work well for you. However, for those who, like me, go through the cycle of dryness > excessive sebum secretion > blemishes, I would recommend giving it some thought. I'm still in the process of finding a toner to settle on, so I looked at it quite critically. But the product itself seems decent. That it doesn't cause any breakouts on my sensitive skin is already quite remarkable...

The first impression was a fresh and cool scent, like the aroma of unripe apples or apple juice from a picnic - a neutral scent that I enjoyed! The watery texture absorbed quickly and did not feel sticky at all! And since it's an exfoliating toner, my skin felt smooth and supple after using it! So I mainly used it to refine my skin texture before applying makeup.
ConsWhen the toner came into contact with my acne scars or when I used it more than twice, my skin felt slightly stinging:( However, it did not cause any burning sensation or severe irritation. And since I have combination-dry skin, my skin felt a bit dry after using it.... Considering the retail price of 33,000 won, I think the cost-effectiveness of this product is a bit low...
TipI think this would be great for light exfoliation! The toner is a bit drying, so it would likely suit oily skin types well, but those with dry or combination skin may need to use a more moisturizing lotion or cream afterwards! And since the toner can be irritating on sensitive areas, I wouldn't recommend it for those with sensitive skin!

While I can't say for certain that it calmed down my skin troubles, I can say that it is definitely not a product that causes breakouts!! The ingredients are truly gentle, and while there are no special effects, the gentleness alone makes it a trustworthy product to use. My skin has become quite sensitive lately, so I think this would also work well for those with sensitive skin.
ConsThere's really nothing disappointing, but if I had to pick one, it would be the fragrance. The fragrance is similar to a powder-like scent, and personally, I'm not a big fan of powder scents, so at first I thought the smell was not great. But after using it, the fragrance didn't bother me as much. It's not an extremely strange scent, so please just take this as a personal preference.

It's somewhere between a runny serum and water, not too watery and not too thick, so it's easy to apply and doesn't drip down. I really liked that. ☺️2) It's suitable for sensitive skin!! I used it with my sister who has slightly sensitive skin, and there were no issues like redness, pimples, or bumps during use. It only has 1 harmful ingredient, so it's gentle and those with sensitive skin can use it well. ☺️3) The scent was just right It has a light, fresh aloe? scent, which I liked. Some cosmetics can have overpowering fragrances, but this one was subtle and pleasant. ☺️4) It replenishes inner dryness My skin is a bit dry, and I had a hard time finding toners that really moisturize deep down. But this one made my skin feel hydrated and supple, reducing that tight feeling. In the summer, this alone might be enough. ☺️5) The tall, cylindrical packaging is convenient to carry and looks nice personally. Haha
ConsIt may feel a bit pricey, but for those with sensitive, dry skin, it's worth trying out. The price isn't that high considering how well it works.
TipI recommend using this in the morning after cleansing, as a single layer of toner makes my skin look a bit more plump (without looking shiny). It's great to use before makeup.
