The watery texture absorbs incredibly well, which I love the most. It doesn't feel sticky and doesn't leave any residue on the face - it just sinks right in. I even found that applying it with a cotton pad on areas with blemishes helped soothe my skin. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I appreciated its mild scent. My only wish is that it came in a larger size. It's so good that I go through it quickly and need to repurchase often. Still, it's worth it. Due to my super sensitive skin, I couldn't settle on a single skincare product and was always trying different ones. I was lucky enough to win this event and got to try the Calming Bell Toner. Although this is an event review, I promise to speak only the truth. First and foremost, I'm most satisfied that after using the toner for about two weeks, I didn't experience any tingling or skin irritation. Also, the formula isn't too watery, allowing for adequate hydration. However, since I have severely dry skin, I found I needed to apply it twice to feel properly moisturized. When I choose products that work for me, I look for four criteria: 1. No tingling or irritation 2. Addresses dryness 3. Doesn't overstimulate sebum production 4. Soothes blemishes This product met the first two criteria, but I didn't see results for the third and fourth. Like other products I've tried, it doesn't cause blemishes and provides hydration, but I didn't feel like it was improving my skin. That's why I deducted one star. I think this product would work well for people with different skin types than mine. However, if you're like me and cycle through dry skin > excess sebum production > blemishes, you might want to think carefully before purchasing. I'm being picky because I'm looking for a toner to settle on, but the product itself seems decent. Works great as both an exfoliating toner and for hydration. Personally, I loved how cool it felt on application and that it didn't cause any irritation. When used with a cotton pad, you can see the dead skin cells come off, making it excellent for refining the skin. Even when applied with just hands, the hydration was quite impressive. While it may not be as hydrating as the Tony Moly Ceramide Toner that I usually use generously, I appreciated its multi-functionality as an exfoliating toner. Oh, and the slim, attractive packaging is a nice bonus. I can't help but feel the price point is a bit on the high side. While it's certainly effective for removing dead skin cells and providing hydration, it doesn't offer any extraordinary features beyond that. The expensive price tag makes it less appealing for everyday, liberal use. The first impression was a pleasant, refreshing scent reminiscent of green apples or picnic apple juice - a universally appealing fragrance! The water-like texture absorbs quickly and isn't sticky at all. Since it's an exfoliating toner, my skin felt super smooth after use. I mainly used it to prep my skin before applying makeup! When the toner touched acne scars or when I used it more than twice, my skin felt a bit tingly :( However, it didn't cause burning or major skin irritation. Also, since I have very dry skin, it left my skin feeling a bit dehydrated... Considering the regular price of $33, I'm not sure if it's the most cost-effective product out there... This would be great for gentle exfoliation! The toner is slightly drying, so it might suit oily skin types better. If you have dry or combination skin, you'll need to follow up with a more hydrating emulsion or cream. Hydration: You might not see it in the photo, but I originally have dry skin with many wrinkles on my hands. The hand I applied the toner to maintained its moisture without quickly disappearing, keeping a plump state and combating dryness - impressive for a toner. If there's one drawback, it's that I felt a slight tingling sensation. My skin is already sensitive and prone to irritation, and it's become even more reactive due to mask-wearing, turning into an ultra-sensitive boss level skin. I also experienced a bit of a burning sensation as the alcohol evaporated. However, this might not be an issue for those without such sensitive skin.
