You know how sometimes skincare can be overpowering, but this one strikes just the right balance. The scent is lovely without being overwhelming - it's truly delightful!
ConsI bought this ISOI product because of all the hype, but I'm afraid it didn't live up to my expectations. Oddly enough, when I applied it generously, it would pill up like dead skin cells. My skin doesn't usually react badly, but within a week, I started developing blemishes. I didn't notice any brightening effects or overall improvement in my complexion. Rather than feeling hydrated, my skin quickly became dry. Despite its popularity, it seems this product just wasn't a good match for my skin type.

I'm not sure about how effectively it absorbs or its overall efficacy.
ConsThe results are ambiguous, and there's some pilling like dead skin. Above all, it's way too expensive.

There's a very slight tightness, but it absorbs quickly, leaving a fresh feeling. The scent is lovely too. Most importantly, as someone with skin that's sensitive to allergens and prone to comedogenic acne, this doesn't cause any breakouts. It suits me perfectly! It genuinely has a brightening effect!!!! My complexion looks a bit brighter!!! While it's not a complete transformation, there is a noticeable whitening effect. Among the Isoi line, everything else doesn't work for me, but this is the only one that does!
ConsAbsolutely avoid applying makeup over this. It feels like there's a thin film on the skin, so if you don't layer it properly with a good moisturizer on top, your makeup will pill like crazy. Apart from the pilling issue, everything else is great!
TipEven if it feels expensive, apply it generously. Right after cleansing, slather it on liberally.

Absorbs well? That's about it, honestly.
Cons1. Pills like dead skin cells 2. Caused blemishes on my chin and under cheekbones after application 3. Redness and intense itching in the butterfly zone 4. Spot improvement? Non-existent. 5. Paid a premium price, but it's just frustrating Why on earth is this product so popular?

I could see my skin looking a bit clearer!
ConsWhen I apply it before bed, it pills off like dead skin in the morning... But I just use an exfoliating toner and apply makeup!
TipI applied it thickly on my problem areas!

The texture is slightly reminiscent of aloe gel. Absorbs quite quickly into the skin. Has a natural rose scent, not artificial. Caused no irritation even when my skin was super sensitive. Feels like it's made with quality ingredients. Seems to have some soothing effects. (Update: Looking back at photos, it appears the overall redness and red areas on my face have significantly reduced.)
ConsPersonally, I find it insufficient to use alone. While it's very hydrating, applying too much can lead to pilling. Needs to be used with products that have more oil content. Since I didn't use it alone, it was hard to pinpoint its exact effects. While it did provide some soothing and hydration, I'm not sure yet about its dramatic effects on blemishes. It's gentle, but considering the price, the effects and efficiency are somewhat disappointing (as it's far from enough when used alone). Personally, I found the Acne Doctor Tonic more satisfying - I could layer it 4-5 times without pilling, even when used alone. Compared to that, this product seems less beneficial. (I'll update if I notice more effects with continued use!)
TipAs I have dry skin and wanted lots of hydration, I applied it generously. However, applying too much at once can lead to pilling. It's difficult for those with dry skin to use this alone. You need to use it in combination with products that have more oil content.

Essential tip for those with oily, troubled skin - don't miss this! My skin type: Sensitive combination dehydrated skin prone to occasional blemishes First, addressing the most common concern - does it fade blemish marks? - Recently, with proper care, my blemishes have subsided, but I was worried about the lingering marks. Amazingly, with daily use, I noticed the marks gradually fading. My complexion also seems a bit brighter? I'll attach progress photos in a few days. Scent: - It has a subtle rose fragrance, not artificial or unpleasant, but rather a delightful rosy scent that I enjoy. Texture: - The texture is watery when applied, absorbs quickly, which I really like. It gives a deeply hydrating feeling. Apply this followed by a moisturizer, and your skin feels incredibly hydrated. Additional notes: - For those deciding between this serum and the pads from the same line - I've tried the pads too. They have a slightly thicker consistency, take longer to absorb, and feel a bit slippery. The texture is similar to what's often used in sheet masks. Consider this if you're unsure! Personally, I prefer the serum.
ConsAfter using it for a while, I noticed some pilling, which I don't recall happening with the previous version. It seems this issue arose after the product was reformulated. The price is a bit high, but I like it so much that I'll probably buy it again, albeit reluctantly...
TipPro tip for oily, troubled skin! After cleansing, apply the blemish serum and let it absorb. Then apply a cream containing AHA, BHA, or PHA. Follow with a modeling mask, then moisturizer, and get a good night's sleep. Your skin will be amazing! It's a bit of a hassle, but I do it often. My skin has really improved...

ConsI splurged on this product, but when I applied it and then layered another emulsion on top, it started to pill like dead skin. Also, it creates a lot of excess when applying makeup..

That's why I keep using it.
ConsYou need to use just one pump for the entire face. If you use two, it pills like dirt. I'm not sure if it really works for brightening. I've been using it for 6 months and haven't seen any effects.

I didn't expect much in terms of hydration, but it was surprisingly good in that aspect.
ConsIt really doesn't absorb at all. After about four or five hours of application, something white comes off like dead skin cells. I tried using less, spreading it wider, patting it in for a long time, applying it over my skincare routine, and using it alone - I tried everything, but no matter what I did, it wouldn't absorb and pills like dead skin. Even if it's a highly effective ampoule, it's not medicine, and you'd need to use it for a while to see results, but it pills so much that I end up not wanting to apply it. Also, the scent is a bit odd. I usually like rose scents, but this one is just... something else.
