I bought a set of 3 on sale at Olive Young and used them all up. I don't see any blemish care effects at all, and I can't understand why it's famous or expensive. My dry skin might have played a part, but it's not hydrating. And if you try to apply more of this serum, it just pills. Well, I don't think I'll buy it again.

Rather than feeling hydrated, my skin quickly became dry. Despite its popularity, it seems this product just wasn't a good match for my skin type.

Pros
First off, it's not too drying even when applied alone (when I slather it on generously). There's a very slight tightness, but it absorbs quickly, leaving a fresh feeling. The scent is lovely too. Most importantly, as someone with skin that's sensitive to allergens and prone to comedogenic acne, this doesn't cause any breakouts. It suits me perfectly! It genuinely has a brightening effect!!!! My complexion looks a bit brighter!!! While it's not a complete transformation, there is a noticeable whitening effect. Among the Isoi line, everything else doesn't work for me, but this is the only one that does!
Cons
Absolutely avoid applying makeup over this. It feels like there's a thin film on the skin, so if you don't layer it properly with a good moisturizer on top, your makeup will pill like crazy. Apart from the pilling issue, everything else is great!
Tip
Even if it feels expensive, apply it generously. Right after cleansing, slather it on liberally.

I've gone through several bottles of this fantastic product. It's so good, I keep coming back for more!

The only downside is that it tends to pill a bit when I wake up the next morning. That's a bit disappointing.

No, there's nothing else. Is it fragrant? Does it apply well? Other than that, there's really nothing.

1. It spreads like a rash 2. Breakouts on the chin and under the cheekbones 3. The T-zone gets very red and extremely itchy 4. No improvement in dark spots. 5. I paid a lot for it, but it's just frustrating. Why on earth is this so famous?

First of all, as someone who is passionate about whitening, I have tried various products besides this one, such as Gudale, Medicube, Innisfree, and Numberz. The reason I chose Isoi among many products is that it has quite noticeable effects!!! I'm currently on my third bottle, and I'd like to share my review. ✔️ Tone-up effect is definite - My original skin is quite dark, and I have a job that involves a lot of outdoor exposure in the summer, so I'm very sensitive to getting tanned. Even after just 30 minutes of exposure, people around me would ask why I got so tanned... Thanks to this product, I can at least maintain my skin tone to some extent. Even if I get a bit tanned, I can immediately feel my skin brightening when I apply it morning and evening. ✔️ Extremely gentle - As I mentioned earlier, I apply this product morning and evening, and it's so gentle and non-irritating!!! I did find some reviews saying that it caused breakouts, but personally, I found it to be very gentle. However, this can vary from person to person, so please take it as a reference only. ✔️ Subtle rose scent👍🏻 - The scent is personally to my liking..! Some may dislike it, but if you're like me and enjoy the rose scent, you'll absolutely love it!!!! It's not overpowering, so I hope others will like it as well.🌹

There are two things: ✔️ Makeup smearing - (I usually only apply sunscreen! I don't really wear other makeup!!) About 8 years ago when I first used this product, the sunscreen would smear...? So I used it a couple times and then just threw it away.. Even though I'm not satisfied with any whitening products, I started using it again 3 months ago. I looked through many reviews, but there was no information about makeup smearing, so I had a little hope, but as expected.. it got worse🥲 After using it for about a week, I was debating whether to throw it away, but as a last resort, I decided to try using a device. Fortunately! It was successful ㅎ There is no more makeup smearing anymore, but thinking about others using it, it's such a huge downside.. Be sure to absorb it well and apply color cosmetics! ✔️ Freckles and blemishes have little effect - I have visible freckles under my right eye, which is exposed to a lot of sunlight. While using 3 bottles, I checked if the freckles were fading, but the effect was minimal😩 It's effective in improving skin tone and complexion, but I'm not sure if it's effective for freckles or deep blemishes. Will it be visible if I use it more..?
