Pros
The moisturizing formula glides on smoothly and absorbs well into the skin. However, those with dry skin might find it a bit lacking in hydration. That's why I apply the Blemish Care-Up Cream at night. The cream doesn't leave my skin feeling parched at all. It's a bit rich though, so during the day I only use the serum. If you have dry skin like me, I recommend purchasing the cream as well and using it as your night cream. I've been consistently using this along with my at-home skincare devices, and I think it's making a difference in my skin.
Cons
While it absorbs nicely, those with dry skin might experience some deep dryness.
Tip
The cream from the same line helps compensate for any lack of moisture.

As someone with extremely dry, sensitive skin prone to redness (shade 23), I finally tried this legendary product that's been famous for nearly a decade. Here's what I love: The Hwahae Testers were right about its brightening effects! While it's hard to capture in photos, I noticed my complexion looked more radiant after just a week. Pretty impressive for a topical product! The fragrance is a double-edged sword. Personally, I adore the scent, but I'm aware it means more fragrance ingredients. Still, I prefer this over earthy retinol serums!

With my wedding coming up, I've been really focusing on skincare lately. One product I've been consistently using and loving is the ISOI Brightening Blemish Rose Serum! I've used this product so many times, I've lost count. I've adored this serum since before my wedding prep, but now I'm using it even more diligently! At first, I thought it was just another blemish care serum, but the texture is incredibly light! It absorbs into the skin without any stickiness, while still providing definite hydration. What's especially great is that it's never caused blemishes on my sensitive skin, not even once! Even though my skin has become more sensitive during wedding preparations, I can use this serum with complete peace of mind. Perhaps it's because of the Damask rose water, but it has a subtle rose scent that lifts my mood every time I apply it. I'm a big fan of this fragrance! As I've continued using it, I've noticed my complexion becoming subtly brighter and my blemishes gradually fading, which keeps me coming back for more.

If you have dry skin, you might feel a slight tightness after application.
Tip

Used it from 2023 to 2024 While the rose scent is lovely and fragrant, the formula evaporates quickly. It's hard to tell if it's absorbed or just disappeared. Not particularly hydrating either... Applied it to my mother who's concerned about dark spots, but saw no effects. So I tried it myself... It barely qualifies as a serum... It's extremely drying.
Tip
The only way to make it work is to apply it at the serum stage and then layer on a rich cream generously.

Even though I have combination skin leaning towards oily, it feels quite dry after application. As a result, I find myself pumping the product multiple times. The amount seems to decrease quickly. It looks like a product that would be good for summer use. For other seasons, I think it might be challenging to use on its own.
Tip
To prevent dryness, you can apply a hydrating toner generously before using this, or add a couple of drops of facial oil to the product.
