First off, it's not too drying even when applied alone (when I slather it on generously). There's a very slight tightness, but it absorbs quickly, leaving a fresh feeling. The scent is lovely too. Most importantly, as someone with skin that's sensitive to allergens and prone to comedogenic acne, this doesn't cause any breakouts. It suits me perfectly! It genuinely has a brightening effect!!!!
