Incredible ability to calm blemishes! The fragrance is absolutely divine I have nothing to discourage about this product. I'll be sticking to this from now on - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 7, 2021
The scent is just right, and while it seems gentle, its cleansing effectiveness is impressive. I have combination scalp, so fragrance is important to me. While it's not quite on par with Lush products, I'm still satisfied. - wl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSep 24, 2020
The fragrance is absolutely delightful! When I wash my hair at night, I wake up in the morning with this subtle, lingering scent that instantly lifts my mood. It's truly wonderful. The shampoo also lathers up nicely, making hair washing a breeze. I was using this shampoo thinking it was great, but one day I noticed something alarming when I scratched my scalp. There was an insane amount of dead skin cells! Hard, rolling flakes were everywhere, and the layer of dandruff was so thick that it kept coming off no matter how much I scratched. Soon after, my scalp condition exploded, and I had to take steroids to recover. Wondering if it was because of this shampoo, I tried using it only twice a week while using a different shampoo. Sure enough, the dead skin cells and dandruff would erupt only on the days I used this one. While I love the fragrance and rich lather, it's such a shame it doesn't work for me. I've had similar reactions to other natural surfactant shampoos, so I guess my skin just doesn't agree with them. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 9, 2020
As someone with a sensitive scalp, I occasionally experience blemishes. I decided to switch from René Furterer to this shampoo with better ingredients. I'm pleasantly surprised by its cleansing effectiveness and how well it lathers. The foam feels incredibly gentle when washing, which I really appreciate. After switching, my scalp felt less itchy and the product seemed gentle for a while. It's a mild and versatile shampoo that I'd recommend for those without particularly troublesome scalps. Initially, it felt gentle and my scalp was comfortable. However, after about two months, I started noticing occasional scalp issues. It seems a bit weak for proper scalp care, so additional management is necessary. It's not quite strong enough to be considered a functional product, yet it's quite pricey. Due to its good cleansing power, it tends to make my hair feel a bit stiff. This is definitely a shampoo that requires you to use a good conditioner alongside it. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedAug 17, 2020
1. The lather is absolutely top-notch 2. Even with Barbie-doll-like hair, you can shampoo without needing conditioner If you don't thoroughly massage your scalp after shampooing, you might feel like the scalp odor hasn't completely disappeared... - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedApr 11, 2020
My face is dry but my scalp is oily, so I always had a lot of blemishes on my scalp. After using this, the cleansing effectiveness seems to be good as my scalp issues have improved. Because of that, my hair feels stronger too. The price... (sigh) Still, since it's a shampoo I like after searching for a long time, I bought the 1L size shampoo and conditioner to make it my go-to product. After wetting the scalp with lukewarm water, apply the shampoo and wait for 2 minutes while massaging the scalp. When I used cheap shampoos, I used to rinse quickly, but this one is expensive so I take my time. Doing it this way seems to enhance the scalp cleansing and hair strengthening effects. I also bought the amino acid conditioner to use together, and it's great as expected. These two will be my lifetime products. I recommend buying them when they're on sale. - rr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 12, 2020
The fragrance is pleasant and the cleansing effectiveness isn't bad. The ingredients are better than those in regular shampoos. I have an oily scalp that needs daily washing, but when I use this, it seems like oil builds up a bit faster by the afternoon after washing in the morning. The cleansing power is so-so. I'd recommend it for mildly oily or normal scalps. - go*****Combination SkinAcne SkinJan 24, 2020
The vanilla scent and simple design, the international brand Kiehl's logo, and so on... Although it's a low pH shampoo, after using this product my scalp gets oily quickly, and I've developed many blemishes on the back of my neck and behind my ears. How can it be worse than Dove soap? Please, don't use this. I'm baffled how it got such high ratings... - ja*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2019
I received this as a gift and gave it a try. My scalp might not be very sensitive, as I didn't notice much difference. The disappointing aspect is undoubtedly the price. Unless you receive it as a gift, purchasing it yourself would be quite burdensome. You'll need to rinse thoroughly several times to ensure it's completely washed out. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2019
My skin type is oily, and so is my scalp. Usually, with oily hair, shampoos are hit or miss based on how greasy my hair gets by the afternoon. This product, however, is the only shampoo I've tried that leaves my hair less oily. The scent is coconut-like, which might make you think it would be greasy, but when used with a scalp massage brush, it cleanses well and keeps my hair from getting too oily until the afternoon. Typically, when I wear a hat after using regular shampoo, my bangs get oily faster, but with this one, my hair stayed fine until evening. It's definitely a must-buy item when shopping duty-free. It doesn't lather much, so you need to use a sufficient amount. For the best results, use it with a scalp brush. Because of its strong cleansing power, your hair might feel a bit stiff, but you can overcome this by applying treatment to your hair ends. Use it with a scalp brush that costs around $20-30 for the best results.
