  Great for use on specific body areas like elbows. With the changing seasons, my nose tip and cheeks tend to flake, but this works well on the face too. While it's a bit sticky, I love how it maintains a moisturized feeling. It has an herbal, aromatherapy-like scent. I was unsure at first, but I've grown accustomed to it with use.

  Absolutely recommend this as a staple item!! This must-have deserves a spot in your makeup bag. It's excellent for calming redness and blemishes! I'd only heard of Burt's Bees Ointment before, but I had no idea it was this good! While I don't get acne, when I have blemishes or my skin is irritated and blotchy, I apply a thin layer on the affected area before bed, and it's cleared up by morning. I also love the lavender scent. While it comes in a stick form like lip balm, the tin case is more cost-effective for the amount you get.

  Cons

  Although the tin case is more economical for the amount, it's a bit inconvenient as you need to use a spatula.

  First off, I love that the scent isn't overwhelming. When I get those huge, swollen blemishes that won't pop, applying this makes them go down quickly. It works wonderfully even for my combination dehydrated skin! Applying it all over my face has a soothing effect. Plus, when I wake up the next morning, there's no deep dryness. The photo shows my skin after use - while it has a glow, it doesn't produce excess oil! (Apologies for my visible pores)

  I apply this as the last step in my skincare routine, but the lid is slippery and hard to open. I've heard some ingredients aren't great, but I'm satisfied since I haven't experienced any adverse reactions!

  Tip

  Apply generously on large blemishes or dry areas. Instead of melting it with your hands, press around the edges to break off small pieces, which will melt as you apply them directly to your face.

  1. Not very effective for dry or sensitive areas It didn't provide much relief when applied to my child's wind-chapped cheeks or other dry patches. 2. Lacks long-lasting hydration The moisturizing effect seems to last only about 10 minutes.

  To be honest, it's not particularly effective for hydration or even for insect bites. I'm using it as a general-purpose cream for the kids, mainly because of the large quantity. It's the kind of product you could take or leave - nothing special.

  Pros

  I bought this during a sale at Olive Young. My lips tend to crack, get wounded, and I often get cheilitis. It has a mugwort color and a cool, minty scent. I like that the packaging isn't plastic, so it's somewhat eco-friendly. When I use lip ointments from pharmacies, I end up applying ingredients like PEG that aren't great, but with this, I can apply the cica ingredients directly without worrying. I usually react badly to shea butter (it gives me blemishes) and can't stand the smell of jojoba oil, but this product worked well for me.

  Cons

  While using this, it didn't immediately prevent cheilitis or heal my lips right away. However, it did give me peace of mind and left a protective, moisturizing feeling on my lips.

  Tip

  It's best to apply it using a cotton swab and avoid dipping the used swab back into the product to prevent bacterial growth. Some people apply petroleum jelly-like products by dipping their fingers in and rubbing it on, but personally, I think that's just applying bacteria to your lips.

  The scent is really lovely~ Not too strong or overpowering. Although it contains some potential allergens, I haven't experienced any blemishes yet. It's great for applying when my hands get paper cuts or rough from boxes at work. Also perfect for smoothing over rough nail surfaces after a manicure and for frequent reapplication around the nails.

  Cons

  Even considering it's winter, the texture can be a bit too stiff, making it difficult to apply at times. If I had known it contained four potential allergens, I probably wouldn't have bought it. I'd recommend the Rescue balm from the same line without cica instead!

  Tip

  I found it refreshing to dab a little under my nose around 4 PM when drowsiness hits.

  Pros

  Texture -It has a firm texture that you need to melt with your hands before use! Scent -It has a herbal scent, which I personally enjoy. Effectiveness -I mainly apply it to areas with heat rash or mosquito bites. While it doesn't make them disappear instantly, it does seem to soothe the skin.

  Cons

  Since it doesn't stick to your hands much, you need to melt it again each time you want to apply it to a specific area. This makes me a bit concerned about hygiene!

  Tip

  I find it works well if you scoop a little out with the edge of your nail. This way, you don't have to keep rubbing it to apply.

  Pros

  First off, I loved the compact size of the lip balm-like packaging, making it super convenient to carry around. The scent was also pleasant - reminiscent of the body scrub I use, with a blend of mugwort and lemon notes, so I didn't mind applying it at all. As for effectiveness, it definitely delivered. Thanks to the cica ingredients, I noticed a visible reduction in the size of a large, inflamed blemish on my forehead. While it didn't dramatically shrink overnight, it certainly helped tone down the redness of existing blemishes.

  I don't have any particular complaints. In fact, I appreciated that it wasn't slippery or messy when applied by hand.
