Dalba really seems to know how to make great sunscreens! Even my mom tried it and asked me to buy her one!
ConsThere's a slight oiliness, so those with oily skin should be careful. Also, be cautious as it might cause makeup to pill.

However, DALBA's Mild Sun Cream naturally evens out the complexion while making it look noticeably brighter. As someone with dry eyes who's sensitive to eye irritation, I find DALBA's sun cream comfortable to use without any stinging sensation. The scent is citrusy, perhaps orange-like, making it suitable even for those sensitive to fragrances. With its watery texture, this sun cream applies evenly without pilling, even when layering makeup on top.
ConsWhile the product claims to improve both surface and deep elasticity thanks to its tocopherol and white truffle ingredients that have undergone clinical trials, I didn't notice any significant effects in this regard. Rather than feeling hydrating, it leaves a slight shine after application. Personally, I enjoy a glowy complexion, but those who dislike this effect might want to take note.
TipSince it doesn't dramatically brighten the skin and lacks specific whitening functions, those seeking a more noticeable tone-up effect might want to use this in combination with a brightening moisturizer. This combo can create a natural look without the need for additional base makeup.

I hope this information helps everyone considering this sunscreen. My skin type: Sensitive / Oily T-zone / Dry elsewhere. My sunscreen preferences: 1. Absorbs well (I dislike white, chalky residues) 2. Non-irritating (absolutely no eye stinging) 3. Not overly rich. Now, let's get into the review! I think many of you are familiar with the brand 'Dalba'. I've heard great things about their mist and other products. They seem to have gained popularity recently. So when I first tried their sunscreen, my expectations were high. After using it for about a week, I understood why people love Dalba's products. First off, it has that luxurious feel, true to Dalba's brand image. The sunscreen case and cap have a subtle, clean elegance. It seems like they've taken the best features from other sunscreens I've tried and blended them well, resulting in a product with few overall drawbacks. Looking at how it absorbs, it's not too runny, but not thick either - just the right consistency. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it lacks that typical mineral sunscreen stiffness. Compared to other popular mineral sunscreens, I found this one better in terms of absorption. Another plus is that it doesn't leave any white, powdery residue, which is common with mineral sunscreens, especially around the eyebrows or outer cheeks. No matter how good the texture and absorption are, it wouldn't be great if the ingredients irritated your eyes all day, right? I'm prone to contact dermatitis and my face can easily become itchy and red if I use the wrong product. But with this one, I experienced no eye stinging, itching, or redness. I checked on Hwahae, and overall, the ingredients are gentle. Any potentially irritating ingredients are present in very small amounts, so it wasn't irritating for me. However, if you have extremely sensitive skin, I'd recommend double-checking the ingredient list to be safe. Sunscreen, being the last step in skincare and the first step in makeup, needs to work well with foundation. If it's too dry and white, it can pill with foundation, and if it's too rich, it can make your skin even oilier when mixed with foundation. That's why I prefer sunscreens that are hydrating but not too rich. In these COVID times, I don't wear heavy makeup, but if a sunscreen is too oily, it can make my face feel greasy and shiny under the mask. This product has just the right amount of richness. It's not completely oil-free, but it doesn't make my skin excessively oily either. Lastly, with all the controversy surrounding SPF ratings in sunscreens these days, I was reassured to see that this product has detailed human application test results for its SPF rating published on their official website. The Italian V-Label vegan certification sticker attached to the sunscreen also added to my confidence in the product. Personally, while I think packaging is important, I prioritize the contents of any cosmetic product. This product seems to have put a lot of effort into both its luxurious packaging and brand image, as well as its contents. Overall, I found it to be a sunscreen with few drawbacks that excels in the basics, and I really liked it. It's made me want to try other Dalba products in the future. That's how satisfied I was with this product.
ConsThere weren't any major downsides, but if I had to pick something, the cap doesn't align perfectly with the edge of the container when closing. It feels like it's spinning off-center, requiring multiple attempts and extra attention to close properly. Also, the cap tends to collect fingerprints easily, making it look messy and requiring frequent cleaning.
TipSince this product has a slightly rich texture, I recommend using a foundation that pairs well with it after applying the sunscreen.
