No eye irritation and it's wonderfully hydrating. True to its name as a mild sunscreen, it seems gentle on the skin. I have combination dehydrated, sensitive skin that's slightly oily, and this product worked well for me from autumn through winter. There's minimal white cast. There's a slight hint when you first apply it, but it fades away as time passes. I didn't really have any complaints. I bought it wondering if it might be an easy-wash sunscreen, but I guess that's not the case? The texture, absorption, and sun protection are all great, so I hope they don't reformulate it. However, if this sunscreen is actually easy to wash off, please promote that feature more prominently. If it's not, it would be great if you could develop a cleanser that removes it effectively in one go. It's great as a makeup base. It has a smooth application similar to a moisturizing BB cream. - al**********Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 15, 2025
Absorbs well on dry skin. There's a slight white cast, but not enough to be bothersome. The amount is a bit disappointing, and the staying power isn't as long-lasting as I had hoped. - tn*******Dry SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2025
I've been using Dalba's Serum Mist for years, so I've always been curious about their other products. I finally got my hands on the Dalba Waterful Mild Suncream and have been using it for a few days now. The texture is just right - not too thin, with a slight viscosity. When I rolled it on, it absorbed smoothly. The product itself seems packed with hydration, providing a moisturizing effect as you apply it. Interestingly, it has a subtle scent reminiscent of Pocari Sweat or other sports drinks. It's quite surprising to find this kind of fragrance in a cosmetic product! While it does provide a boost of hydration, I found the finish to be slightly sticky. As someone who prefers a powdery or completely absorbed feel, this was a bit uncomfortable for me. However, I noticed that it does absorb nicely given some time. I'd recommend applying this suncream well before your makeup routine. Give it ample time to absorb into your skin for the best results. - wa*****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 7, 2025
It applies smoothly without irritation, even on sensitive skin. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it leaves almost no white cast and keeps your skin moisturized all day, making it perfect for daily use. There's a subtle fragrance, but those sensitive to scents might have mixed feelings about it. - bb*********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 1, 2025
It keeps my skin hydrated all day without making it greasy, and best of all, even though it's not a brightening moisturizer, it makes my complexion look clear and radiant. I'm really pleased with it and will definitely keep using it in the future. I'm on my second bottle now, and honestly, I can't think of any downsides to mention. - a0**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 30, 2025
I've been using this product consistently since 2023. My skin is extremely dry, and even with just sunscreen, it often feels like it's flaking off. However, with d'Alba, there's no pilling or flaking. Even when I apply foundation over the sunscreen, it feels like it's acting as a moisturizer! I've settled on d'Alba sunscreen and highly recommend it to those with dry skin~! The only downside is that it's so good, I feel it's too precious to use on my arms and legs! This review highlights the product's effectiveness for those with very dry skin, emphasizing its ability to prevent pilling and flaking while providing hydration. The user's enthusiasm is evident, making it a strong recommendation for others with similar skin concerns. - gp******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 30, 2025
This mineral sunscreen truly has an amazing absorption! I've tried many mineral sunscreens, but this one is by far the most hydrating and absorbs well. There's absolutely no stiffness, and it feels just like a chemical sunscreen. It provides great protection too. Being a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't sting the eyes and causes zero irritation to the skin. While it does have some white cast due to being mineral-based, it's much less noticeable compared to other mineral sunscreens. It's slightly rich, which actually works well under makeup. My forehead gets really shiny with this. I didn't notice it during winter and early spring when my skin was dry, but now that it's getting warmer in May, my forehead looks extremely oily and shiny. If you're looking for a mineral sunscreen to use in winter, this would be a great choice. - sw*********Normal SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 30, 2025
For a mineral sunscreen, it applies more smoothly and doesn't cause any irritation. There are many other good mineral sunscreen products out there, so I probably won't repurchase this one. Also, it occasionally pills like dead skin cells. - ki*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2025
The powerful UV protection lasts for a long time, which is fantastic. It feels a bit rich and doesn't absorb immediately into the skin. - mi******Normal SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 24, 2025
It absorbs lightly without leaving a white cast, and the essence makes it apply smoothly. The absorption is excellent! I can't think of any downsides, to be honest. I've found my go-to sunscreen with this one. It leaves my skin feeling smooth even without layering on a lot of base products.
