Here's a quick summary: Pros: Reliable Cons: Nothing extraordinary Texture: Despite being a watery toner with no viscosity, it's surprisingly hydrating. It strikes a good balance - neither too light nor too heavy, which might be a hit or miss for some. If you're after an ultra-light summer toner that absorbs instantly without a trace, this isn't it. Similarly, if you want a toner that provides enough hydration on its own, look elsewhere. However, for most people using it alongside an emulsion or cream, it offers just the right level of hydration! It's a dependable, excellent toner that absorbs well and leaves a refreshing finish. Exfoliation? It contains PHA, a gentler exfoliating ingredient than AHA or BHA. With short-term use, I didn't notice dramatic improvements in skin texture. However, I did feel my skin became slightly more refined, and I experienced less flaking. As it's mild, the effects seem gradual. With longer use, I believe it could show decent results, though not drastic. I'd recommend this for those with super sensitive skin who want a gentle daily exfoliation routine. Given that toners are mostly water and I don't expect major benefits from them, I value reliability above all. That's why I'm giving this 5 stars. I particularly loved the perfect balance of weight and hydration it provides.
ConsWhile this toner feels nice and hydrating, the finish might be divisive. It leaves a slight film that feels fresh but also like it's enveloping the skin. I personally enjoy this, but those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy.

Its thin consistency makes it particularly suitable as an exfoliating toner rather than for the 7-skin method. The generous 400ml size allows for liberal application without worry. I did a 5-minute skin pack without realizing it contained PHA, but didn't experience any significant irritation. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness in dead skin cell removal, the gentle nature makes it great for daily use. The hydration and moisturizing effects are excellent, leaving the skin feeling supple even when used alone. I also appreciated that it absorbs well without any sticky residue.
ConsCurrent skin type: Extremely oily (oil production goes into overdrive in summer). The experience might vary depending on the season... Rather than being a lightweight toner, it feels more like a hydrating one, which can feel a bit heavy in humid and hot summer weather.

Compared to those two, this toner definitely feels more hydrating. However, I found this to be both a pro and a con of this toner. On the positive side, the toner alone provides enough hydration to simplify your skincare routine (for oily skin types).
ConsFeels heavy When applying the toner, it feels like a film is covering my skin. Initially, when I tested it on the back of my hand, it absorbed completely. However, when used on my face, it feels heavy. I think this heavy feeling might be because I have oily skin. Considering it's summer, I'm looking for lighter and fresher formulas than my usual products, but this felt too heavy for my oily skin. Bottle opening This was a real disappointment while using the product. The toner comes in a large quantity, making the bottle quite heavy. When tilting it to dispense the product, it's difficult to control the amount, which is inconvenient.
TipI recommend the Hug toner instead of the Doc toner.

For dry skin types, it might provide a rich, satisfying moisture boost, while for others, it could feel a bit heavy. I'm a fan of Hada Labo products, so I was thrilled to be selected to try this. As someone with extremely dry skin who loves hydration and moisture, please keep that in mind when reading my review. The texture is closer to water than mucus, but slightly thicker. I use toners in a spray bottle, so I can compare the spray power: - Torriden Blue Drop Toner: Mists like pure water - Hada Labo Hya Fullbarrier: Sprays like water but with more force - Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Toner: Sprays like a water gun This one falls in the middle or slightly closer to water. Due to its texture, it leaves a slight stickiness on the hands after application. I personally don't love this feeling, so I wipe it off on other parts of my body or rinse with water. Hydration & Moisturizing Power: Great moisture content, which is immediately noticeable. I've tried many hyaluronic acid toners, both high and low molecular weight. In my experience, some products feel like they deliver 8 out of 10 in hydration, while others barely leave any moisture at all. This toner performs well - it feels like it delivers 7-8 out of 10 in hydration. No need for multiple layers. After spraying evenly and patting it in, my skin doesn't feel dry at all. The texture isn't watery, so it provides good moisturization. In the current humid weather, I just spray this on, add a drop of jojoba oil to my palms, and gently roll it over my face. Even with just this, my skin doesn't feel tight. This might change in fall or winter. For my extremely dry skin, I'll definitely need thorough moisturization then. I'm looking forward to trying this toner during the changing seasons and updating my review. I haven't noticed any improvement in skin texture yet, as I've only been using it for about a week. The delivery for this Hwahae Testers batch took quite a while, so I haven't had enough time to see long-term effects.
ConsThere's a slight stickiness to it. It's not extremely sticky, but it can feel a bit heavy and clingy. This might not be welcome in summer, but could provide necessary moisture for dry skin in fall and winter. Those with oily or combination skin who prefer a fresh finish might find this a bit too rich.

The texture feels a bit heavier. It's slightly heavier than the Dear Simple Calming Toner, but lighter than the Bad Skin Collagen Balm Hydrating Ampoule. 2. It's moisturizing. When applied, there's a slick feeling, which actually seems to help with hydration. It keeps my skin feeling hydrated even when used alone. 3. It's gentle on the skin. With irritating products, I usually feel a stinging sensation deep in my skin, but I didn't experience that with this product. Thanks to this, I've discovered a great product.
Cons1. It feels a bit slippery when applied. I generally prefer products with a fresh texture, but this one leaves a temporary slick feeling after application. This made my skin feel slightly congested. However, this sensation disappears over time, so it shouldn't be a major issue.
