Absorbs well without feeling sticky and provides excellent hydration. On days when my skin is acting up, I use it as a toner pack and then pat it into my skin multiple times. It helps with deep dryness and calms my skin. I've been using it for several bottles now, probably over 10. If I had to pick something... I think a few years ago, it had a completely watery texture, but now it seems to have a slight viscosity? I prefer the completely watery texture, so that's a bit disappointing. Still, it's close to a watery consistency. - sl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 4, 2025
(For sensitive + deeply dehydrated dry skin) 1. It's deeply hydrating 2. It doesn't cause any blemishes 3. Thanks to this toner, I've realized how good Hada Labo is, so I even bought their cleansing oil today! I don't have any complaints so far (However, I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an extremely lightweight toner, and those with oily skin might not enjoy it much) - ky********Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2024
My skin is super oily on the nose, cheekbones, and forehead, but dehydrated underneath. When I apply makeup, it gets greasy quickly, so I need products that aren't oily but still tackle that deep dryness. This toner is perfect - it's fragrance-free and non-greasy. It's great for that final sweep after cleansing to refine skin texture and remove any leftover impurities. No irritation at all, and I'll definitely keep using it! Since it's a large bottle, it's a bit annoying to have to use cotton pads every time. I wish it came in a pump bottle for easier application without straining my wrist. It's great to decant some for travel use. - cs****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 9, 2024
It's quite moisturizing and water-based, but with a slightly rich texture. Surprisingly, it absorbs well. After patting it in twice, it left a clean finish. Maybe it was because of the cold weather...? At first, it was a bit itchy. I thought I was just getting used to it, but eventually I had to stop using it because I developed blemishes. My skin doesn't usually agree with hyaluronic acid, and the exfoliating ingredients were probably too much for my sensitive skin. Skin type: deep undertone, combination dehydrated skin, pores, acne, sensitive, scars, redness, lots of peach fuzz, shade 23.5 I only knew about Gokujyun, but this one is amazing too! I have extremely sensitive skin with pustules, folliculitis, and milia, so I was worried it might irritate my skin, but nothing like that happened. It absorbs quickly, and after layering a few times, even deep dryness disappears. If you do a toner mask for about 10 minutes, it really fills up the skin with hydration. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out. Nothing bad to say! The price is great, and it doesn't irritate my skin, so I'm very happy. - wn********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 28, 2024
Highly recommended as a hydrating toner! This is my first time trying a Hada Labo toner. I found it while matching products to my skin type on the Hwahae app, and after some research on its volume and price, I immediately purchased it! My previous toner was also for hydration, but it left something to be desired... This one is definitely more moisturizing! Since the bottle is large, I've transferred some into a spray container for easier use. After cleansing, I spritz it on, then apply essence or ampoule, spritz again, and finally after applying cream, I give it one more spray. The result is incredibly hydrated skin! It's also perfect for use as a skin pack. My previous toner was pricier, and I kept using it because it was effective, but now I'm switching to Hada Labo! The original container is inconvenient to use, so I've transferred it to a different bottle. Layer it 2-3 times or use it as a skin pack, and your skin becomes super hydrated! I soak cotton pads generously with this toner and place them on my face while blow-drying my hair. - en****Oily SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessJun 6, 2024
It seems like a typical water-based toner that you might expect. I'm leaving this review because of some disappointing aspects. Although I bought it after checking the ingredients, something didn't agree with my skin. I'm struggling with huge blemishes that appeared on both sides of my nose. It also doesn't manage dryness well. Even though my skin tends to get oily if I skip cleansing for just one day, using this toner makes dead skin cells visibly flake off... I was previously using a toner with Centella Asiatica extract, and I've decided to go back to that. - uu********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 5, 2024
It's gentle enough for sensitive skin with minimal irritation, feeling like pure hydration. Easy to apply generously without any stickiness, it absorbs well and leaves skin feeling moisturized. It's great as a base before makeup, allowing for smooth application. Excellent for dry skin as it effectively combats deep dryness. The cooling effect was less noticeable than expected, which was a bit disappointing. As someone with redness-prone skin, I was hoping for a more refreshing sensation, but it didn't feel particularly cooling. It's just an average moisturizer you can apply liberally. It simply provides hydration without any additional benefits. - qk*********Combination SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 11, 2024
I'm still figuring out my skin type. (It's dry in winter and oily in summer.) I used this during winter and it worked well for me. My blemishes have really improved a lot. It absorbs well. There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to pick something: It doesn't reduce skin warmth. It doesn't even out my complexion. That's about it. - tn*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2024
I'm currently on my third bottle of this product! It's a toner that works incredibly well for me, and I'm extremely satisfied with it. The texture is water-like, but it feels concentrated if that makes sense? When it touches the skin, it makes it smooth and provides a moisturizing effect. I love doing up to three layers of this toner. It absorbs well, and with multiple applications, it leaves my skin as hydrated as if I'd applied a serum. It doesn't seem to evaporate quickly, which is perfect for my dry skin. The large volume means it lasts a long time. I have extremely dry skin, and if I skip my skincare routine for even a day, the area around my mouth, cheeks, and nose tends to crack. But with this toner, I can apply it casually, and it prevents that from happening. The ingredients are gentle, and I've never felt like it was causing breakouts or not agreeing with my skin while using it. The only downside is the packaging. It's a bit difficult to dispense the product into your hand. The opening of the bottle is quite small, which sometimes causes the liquid to run down the side of the bottle. It's great to use chilled, fantastic for layering, and works wonderfully with cotton pads too! I've found that decanting it into a foam pump bottle sold in various places makes it easier to apply. However, I personally just dispense it into my hand as I suspect I might be allergic to the spring in the foam pump.
