ConsI'm leaving this review because of some disappointing aspects. Although I bought it after checking the ingredients, something didn't agree with my skin. I'm struggling with huge blemishes that appeared on both sides of my nose. It also doesn't manage dryness well. Even though my skin tends to get oily if I skip cleansing for just one day, using this toner makes dead skin cells visibly flake off... I was previously using a toner with Centella Asiatica extract, and I've decided to go back to that.

It was suitable for sensitive skin without causing any issues, and it worked well as a summer toner. Skin Type: I have dry skin without acne, but my skin is super sensitive and reacts easily to irritation. I've found that when my skin is well-hydrated, my makeup doesn't flake and I don't get any dry, cracking areas! Application & Absorption: The texture is almost water-like and very fluid. Since it's summer, heavy formulas can be difficult to apply, but this one absorbs well, making it suitable for the season. It feels refreshing and while not exactly like water, it holds moisture nicely which I appreciated.
ConsExfoliation: Perhaps because I didn't use it for an extended period, there wasn't a dramatic effect on dead skin cells. Despite not being able to maintain sufficient hydration during summer, my dead skin cells remained unchanged.

Here's what I liked: - The water-based formula makes it easy to apply with a cotton pad for gentle cleansing - It's fragrance-free, which is great for those with sensitive noses - Generous bottle size! - Not sure about hydration, but it leaves a slightly tacky finish... feels like you need to pat it in a bit more? Personally, it felt fine on areas that usually feel tight like my cheeks and forehead, but it was a bit heavy on my oily nose. If you lie down right after applying, it might feel like dust could stick to your face...haha
Cons- I didn't really feel like it was effective at removing dead skin cells I guess using anything consistently for a long time is good... I'm just grateful it didn't cause any blemishes
TipIt was nice to keep it in the fridge and use it with a cotton pad for a refreshing feel during summer!

It finishes with a fresh feel, without any stickiness. Being a low molecular weight formula, it definitely clings well to the skin. As a pH balancing toner, it's non-irritating and gentle! I like that it's fragrance-free. The large quantity is great for doing toner masks too. It's a whopping 400ml - I find the large size very convenient to use. Overall, it's a solid, reliable toner. My top priority is always hydration, followed by gentleness and lack of irritation, and this toner checks both boxes. I generally prefer hyaluronic acid toners and pH balancing toners. I've tried them all - Etude Soon Jung, Isntree pH toner, Torriden, Klairs Supple Preparation, Tonymoly Ceramide, and more! This toner also contains ceramides! It helps strengthen the skin barrier. True to its nature as a hyaluronic acid toner, it's wonderfully moisturizing. If you're looking for a fresh and hydrating toner for summer, I'd recommend this one.
ConsIt claims to exfoliate with PHA, but I didn't really notice any exfoliation. You might want to use a separate product for sebum and dead skin cell management. Because it's so light, it doesn't provide intense hydration. It would be good to layer it or use it in conjunction with a hydrating ampoule for a synergistic effect!
TipIf you soak the Silcot cotton pads (available at Olive Young) generously with this toner and use it as a mask, it's super hydrating! When my skin feels dry, I use it after Doctorcos and apply another layer with my hands as a booster.

Personally, I found that soaking a cotton pad generously with the toner and leaving it on like a mask for 5 minutes gave my face a glow and made my skin feel smoother! I also appreciated that it doesn't have that distinctive fragrance.
Cons- As an exfoliating toner, it doesn't provide dramatic dead skin cell removal - Despite containing hyaluronic acid, it doesn't provide as much hydration as essence toners or ampoule-type toners - Price-wise, it feels like buying a regular toner when on sale - With consistent use, it refines skin texture and maintains clean-looking pores Significant blackhead reduction might require oil-based products or dermatological treatments
TipGreat as a summer toner! **How to use as a cooling mask with freezer or ice pack** 1. Use common cotton pads for the butterfly zone Cut tissue cotton pads with scissors for the smile lines 2. Place 2 prepared cotton pads in a ziplock bag and add Hada Labo 3. Place an ice pack on the ziplock bag for cooling 4. Apply to the butterfly zone and smile lines for 5 minutes
