Easy to apply generously without any stickiness, it absorbs well and leaves skin feeling moisturized. It's great as a base before makeup, allowing for smooth application. Excellent for dry skin as it effectively combats deep dryness.
ConsThe cooling effect was less noticeable than expected, which was a bit disappointing. As someone with redness-prone skin, I was hoping for a more refreshing sensation, but it didn't feel particularly cooling. It's just an average moisturizer you can apply liberally. It simply provides hydration without any additional benefits.

It's a reliable toner.
ConsFor those with dry skin, it might not provide enough hydration even with multiple layers. It's just an average toner.

I have extremely sensitive skin, to the point where I even use natural soap for cleansing. This product, perhaps due to its lack of harmful ingredients, wasn't sticky at all and felt light, making it perfect for summer use. One application wasn't quite enough, so I usually did about two layers. It's also great for doing a skin pack. I keep it in the fridge and always do a skin pack in the evening using cotton pads - you can really feel it cooling down your skin temperature. Anyway, I finished the bottle in a month because I wash my face twice a day and do a skin pack daily, but for most people, the generous amount should last quite a while. It worked so well for me that I've repurchased it more than four times!
ConsIf you have dry skin, using this alone isn't enough. You definitely need to follow up with a cream as the next step. Other than that, there are no issues with the ingredients themselves. It's incredibly lightweight and nice. I wish they would come out with a cream or serum from the same line.

The texture is neither too sticky nor too watery - it has just the right amount of moisture. I was amazed to see how much smoother my skin texture became compared to before using it. As someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, I often get milia when using products with acid ingredients. However, I was pleased that this product didn't cause any milia. I'd recommend this product as a base skincare item for those with parched and dry skin.
ConsI had some blemishes before using this product, and it didn't improve them after use.
TipI decanted it into a mist bottle and used it as a facial mist. It felt great to spray it whenever my skin felt dry.

Plus, there was no irritation or anything like that. It really seems to be a very gentle, no-fuss toner! But after applying, you get this feeling that it's still providing some hydration, which I absolutely loved! My skin is super sensitive, but I didn't have any issues with this, so I'll probably repurchase when I run out!
ConsThere aren't really any major drawbacks! But if I absolutely had to pick something... maybe the packaging? The product comes out too quickly at first, which was a bit surprising. Other than that, I can't think of any real cons.
TipIt seems perfect as an exfoliating toner! It's really, truly like water!

Absorption: The small particles make it feel like it's being absorbed deeply into the skin! I've been having a lot of blemishes lately due to wearing masks, but there was no stinging or irritation while it was being absorbed. Moisturizing: After absorption, it finishes very refreshingly without feeling dry or tight. It leaves a moisturized feeling that's not sticky but has just the right amount of hydration! Recommended Skin Type: It's not as heavy as a cream toner, nor as light as an exfoliating toner, so it seems perfect for combination dehydrated skin to maintain inner hydration during summer! Overall, the user experience is very mild, so there weren't any dramatically noticeable improvement effects, but this seems to be its strength. I've been having blemishes on my forehead and cheeks lately, making my skin sensitive, but this didn't worsen the blemishes and I was able to use it gently without any irritation!
ConsThe container design was disappointing. It has a large volume and the formula is a sloshy water type, so when using it, it tends to pour out suddenly. There's also some dripping around the spout. While the large volume is nice, the container doesn't seem to be a good match for the formula.
TipThis would be great for those looking for a mild toner that's suitable for daily use! It's not a toner that leaves a refreshing finish by exfoliating dead skin cells, but rather one that fills in deep hydration. I highly recommend using it as an absorbing toner rather than an exfoliating toner!

It's truly a classic water toner. I'd recommend this to those who need hydration but want a product without oiliness or stickiness. Since it's fragrance-free and doesn't contain any sensitive ingredients, I think even those with super sensitive skin could give it a try. As someone with combination skin leaning towards dry, I focus on using moisturizing products and prioritize oil and moisture balance. While I felt it was slightly lacking in hydration for dry skin, I think it would be great as a light summer toner! It's perfect for daily use with a cotton pad to even out skin texture, and it's also great as a mask for a boost of hydration.
ConsWhile the formula doesn't feel rich or sticky, it doesn't absorb into the skin very quickly. It's not exactly slow, but it's not fast either, so you need to give it some time to absorb. For those with dry skin, it might not provide enough hydration during seasonal changes or in winter. Since it's a water-type toner that needs to be applied with a cotton pad, I wish it came in a pump bottle for easier use.
TipAs everyone recommends, if you chill it and apply it generously on a cotton pad as a mask, it's great for hydrating the skin.

Absorption: It has a similar texture to the Manyo Factory toner, which I love. It's not too watery, just the right consistency! It applies smoothly and feels hydrating. 2. Absorption: It absorbs beautifully without any stickiness, leaving the skin feeling fresh. 3. Feel: It feels gentle on the skin. There's no irritation, making it perfect for everyday use without any fuss. 4. Skin Type: I have extremely sensitive skin! I can't use just anything as my skin reacts easily and is quite delicate. I'm usually relieved if a new product doesn't cause a reaction. I've been using Isntree and Manyo Factory products well, and this is my first time trying Hada Labo. It's great with no irritation! I'm considering purchasing it with my own money.
ConsWhen I received the package, the lid was cracked. It doesn't affect the use of the product, so I'm still using it without issues.
TipThe hydration is so good that you could probably get away with just using this toner and a serum for a light skincare routine. Perfect for summer when you want to keep things light!

Skin type: Oily, dry (combination dehydrated skin), acne-prone, sensitive, with severe redness and heat sensitivity. My skin feels really hot. Texture: The toner has a water-like consistency without any stickiness. Hydration: It's incredibly moisturizing. However, it doesn't feel oily, sticky, or heavy on the skin. It's more hydrating than the Dokdo toner I used before. Moisturization: Being a hydrating product, it provides good moisture. The hydration lasts quite long. I liked that it's moisturizing while feeling fresh, without any stickiness or oiliness. Absorption: Like most water-based toners, it absorbs well. Soothing: It doesn't have a calming effect. When used on good skin days, you might think, 'My skin looks better than usual today.' Blemishes: I did get a few deep, hard blemishes (that didn't come to a head), but I'm not sure if it's because of this product. Need to use it more to be certain. Irritation: I'll need to use it longer to be sure, but so far (3 days of use), it doesn't feel particularly irritating. However, if it touches my lips, I experience pain similar to a severe shrimp allergy reaction - stinging and burning sensation, but without visible swelling. So I'm wondering if I should continue using it, but I am anyway. The first day I used it, my skin was in good condition. The toner made my skin feel hydrated and really nice. My sister even said my skin looked the best she'd ever seen. I did a toner mask with this that day. Highly recommend using it for toner masks. However, the next evening, I was too tired and went to bed without cleansing, which upset my skin. Even though everything I applied hurt, this toner didn't worsen my skin condition. It wasn't more irritating than Dokdo or other toners. (It caused similar levels of redness, stinging, and pain as other products.) Considering that, I think it's still a decent product. +Additional note After calming my skin and trying it again, this toner causes many small pustules and some tiny closed comedones to appear. When I switch to a different toner, they subside. Hada Labo always seems to cause blemishes, whether it's closed comedones or something else. It happened with their 'Gokujyun' toner too.
ConsMy lips hurt so much They don't visibly swell, but it feels exactly like when I have an allergic reaction and my lips are puffy (I could avoid letting it touch my lips, but the area around the mouth is the driest, so it's not easy...)
TipSeems good for toner masking

I have sensitive combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. Applying it twice provided enough hydration, and I followed up with a moisturizer. The fragrance-free formula is great for those sensitive to scents - I prefer unscented products myself. Using it on a cotton pad to prep my skin before makeup improved my foundation application. When I developed heat rash on my neck during summer, applying this toner after cleansing quickly improved it. The gentle formula is a plus. As someone prone to blemishes, I appreciated that this toner's mild ingredients didn't cause any breakouts. That alone made it worthwhile!
ConsIt doesn't provide as much hydration as expected. While it's great for summer, it might be too drying for transitional seasons or winter. If it's not fully absorbed when you open your eyes, it can be incredibly painful compared to other toners. It really stings and makes your eyes water if it gets in them. The watery texture means no stickiness, which is good, but the bottle design causes it to pour out too quickly.
