Even my mascara, which usually resists cleansing oils, foams, and waters, came off easily with this balm. I was amazed. Scent - It has a mild tea tree scent that's not overwhelming, making it comfortable to use. Quantity - There's plenty! I found that a small amount of balm was enough to remove all my makeup, which made it seem even more generous. The included spatula made it convenient to use. When applied and massaged onto the skin, it melts down nicely and feels incredibly oil-rich.
ConsThere weren't any downsides. If anything, I wish I had discovered the benefits of cleansing balms and products like this sooner!
TipA small amount is sufficient for makeup removal! Even for those who wear heavy makeup, I recommend starting with a small amount and adjusting as needed. For a thorough cleanse, I suggest following up with a second cleanse after using the balm. While I didn't find it heavy as I have combination skin, those with oily skin might find it slightly rich.

Packaging: The blue container is absolutely gorgeous! It comes with a spatula and even has a separate compartment to store it, which is hygienic and ensures you won't lose the spatula. 2. Texture: It has a soft, sorbet-like texture that's easy to scoop out and melts well, unlike firmer balm cleansers. It's the smoothest balm I've tried, making it perfect for massaging into the skin. 3. Scent: It has a baby emulsion-like fragrance that didn't cause any discomfort during use. 4. Cleansing effectiveness: There was no eye irritation, and it removed eyeliner and mascara thoroughly. 5. Emulsification: It emulsifies exceptionally well and produces a lot of foam! 6. Hydration: Right after cleansing, there was no tightness, but as time passed, my skin did feel quite dry.
ConsApart from the presence of PEG in the ingredients, there weren't many downsides. I plan to repurchase and use it again after finishing this one!

It emulsifies well and has great cleansing effectiveness, even removing point makeup, so there's no need for a second cleanse. As soon as it touches the skin, it melts softly like sorbet, as shown in the photo. When massaging it in, there's absolutely no irritation to the skin. Even for super sensitive skin, it didn't cause any blemishes. The lid makes it convenient to store the spatula!
ConsI haven't found any downsides yet. I'll add more to my review after using it a bit longer!

During seasonal changes, it's a dead skin cells party, then suddenly an oil slick... ✔️Usage conditions: Cleansing after mineral sunscreen and powder, also after full makeup 👉🏻I've tried cleansing oils, creams, emulsions, and waters, but strangely never a balm type. So here's my first-time review of a cleansing balm: Pros 👍🏻 - As expected, it comes with a built-in spatula and a convenient cap that pops up for easy use. Nice packaging! - I was worried about the cleansing effectiveness of a balm, but no need to fret! To be more objective, it's better than cleansing emulsions, slightly less effective than oils, but still good enough for a thorough first cleanse. Thumbs up! - There's a bit of fun in gently massaging the solid balm until it melts smoothly on your skin...
ConsCons 👎🏻 - The reason I avoided balm types before was that I thought they'd be less convenient than pump types... Indeed, it does require a bit more effort compared to just pumping out the product. Also, even with the spatula, there's still a worry about contamination with the jar format...
TipWhile there's no specific pro tip, it's worth noting that balm types are quite sensitive to temperature. In the dead of winter, it might take a while to melt on your face, so I recommend warming it up with your body heat before massaging it in.

The jar format seems unavoidable since it's not a liquid type. - It has a sorbet-like texture that melts gently when you massage it onto your skin. Unlike liquid oil cleansers that can run down your wrist to your elbow during application, this texture is less likely to drip. - I tried it on bare skin to remove sebum, and it left me feeling refreshed. There's less of a slippery residue too, though I still follow up with a second cleanse. - Knowing it's a vegan product gives me peace of mind!
Cons- It can feel quite drying, so you might need to pay extra attention to moisturizing afterwards. This might be more noticeable for me as I have combination dehydrated skin, especially during fall and winter. - So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes or other issues worth mentioning.
TipMake sure to hydrate your skin well after use!

Product Container Since it's a cleansing balm that can melt with body heat when scooped by hand, a spatula is essential. Thankfully, one is included with the product, allowing for hygienic use. As you can see in the second and third photos, you can place the lid with the spatula holder on top of the blue container lid for convenience. These thoughtful details make me appreciate the product even more. 2. Scent Perhaps because it's a vegan product, it has a refreshing scent that's different from typical cosmetics. It's not a familiar fragrance, but it's pleasant. 3. Texture I used the included spatula to scoop out the product. It has a balm texture that melts easily with body heat. It's soft and becomes smooth and slick like oil when it melts. It doesn't drip, making it perfect for facial cleansing. 4. Cleansing Effectiveness I tested the cleansing balm on four makeup products I usually use. In the second photo, from left to right, you can see mascara, concealer, lip product, and eyebrow product. After about 30 seconds of gentle massaging, even the Kiss Me mascara was thoroughly removed. After rinsing with water, there was no residue left. For those who use mascara, I recommend melting a bit of the balm on your fingertips, gently pressing on your eyes, and then carefully rubbing to remove it. This To Be Gan cleansing balm has excellent cleansing power.
ConsThere are no drawbacks. True to its purpose as a cleansing product, it has great cleansing effectiveness and leaves no residue, allowing for a thorough cleanse.

Love that you can store the spatula in the lid - super hygienic. As my first balm product, it gave off strong candle vibes when I opened it. Green grape? Orange? Somewhere in between? Personally, I didn't mind the scent. Using the spatula, I scooped out a good amount and massaged it on my face. It felt oily as it melted, removing even mascara. The cleansing effectiveness is really good, better than most cleansing oils. With my combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, even after double cleansing with a foam cleanser, my skin still feels hydrated. It seems to work on dead skin cells, and the fact that it removes mascara means I can skip my lip and eye makeup remover and cleansing water steps. Super convenient! Considering it's a vegan product, the price seems reasonable too.
ConsAfter using the product, there's a bit of richness left if you only rinse with water. Since it has that candle-like quality, it does have a bit of a scented candle smell, so those sensitive to fragrances might not like it. As for dissolving sebum, I'll need to use it more to really tell.
