I bought this after a YouTuber recommended it. It's known for being a vegan product, and it definitely felt less irritating than others. It removed my makeup cleanly and effectively. There's a major drawback with the packaging. When you open the main lid, there's a smaller inner lid that's always slippery. I end up having to use my teeth to open it every time!

But wow, I was pleasantly surprised! It's actually quite good. I was initially concerned about its cleansing effectiveness, as products claiming to be gentle often fall short in this area. But that's not the case here at all. While it won't completely remove waterproof mascara or eyeliner that require a dedicated remover, its cleansing power is on par with the Banila Co cleansing balm. It effectively removes sebum too. Post-cleanse, my skin feels comfortably moisturized rather than greasy. I even had my mom, a loyal Banila Co user, try it out, and she said it's just as good as her regular cleanser! Personally, I think Banila Co might be slightly more effective at cleansing, but since I use a separate eye makeup remover anyway, the difference is barely noticeable in practice. Given that Banila Co often has sales and offers free gifts, and is generally cheaper, I might end up using it more often. However, judging this product on its own merits, it's definitely well-made. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to switch up their cleansing routine. The scent, though, is a bit off-putting... It smells like a home mat air freshener... Might be good for repelling mosquitoes...

I thought it wasn't great in winter because the balm didn't melt well, but now that it's warmer, it melts perfectly! It cleanses effectively and leaves a nice finish on the skin. Personally, I find that many cleansing balms have unpleasant scents, but this product seems to have a much nicer fragrance. It removes makeup thoroughly without leaving any residue, and it even takes off waterproof and color cosmetics in one go. The best part? Unlike other products that can sting your eyes, this one doesn't cause any irritation at all - that's a huge plus! I think it would be great if they could offer a larger size for better value for money. The cleansing effectiveness is excellent, and its sorbet-like texture doesn't drip, allowing for a neat application. The packaging includes a cap inside the lid and a spatula, ensuring hygienic use. The lid opens by lifting rather than twisting, making it convenient to use even with wet hands. It stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes. Wow, this is absolutely amazing! It doesn't sting at all even if it gets in your eyes! It must be super gentle. But get this - it removes makeup like a champ too! Honestly, this is the best cleansing product I've ever used! The spoon-mixing format is a bit inconvenient. I think it would be more user-friendly if it came in a tube. You can just slather it on haphazardly and rub it all over, and your eyes won't hurt at all!

Cleansing effectiveness When I only use foam cleanser after applying sunscreen, it doesn't feel thorough enough. But when I use this product followed by foam cleansing, my skin feels squeaky clean. 3. Scent The fragrance isn't artificial, but rather familiar and pleasant, which I really appreciate. 4. Vegan product While I don't usually pay much attention to whether a product is vegan, knowing it wasn't tested on animals gives me a good feeling. 1. When you first use it, it leaves a slippery feeling on the skin. That's why I think a second cleanse with a foam cleanser is absolutely necessary. You only need to use a small amount with the spatula for cleansing. There's no need to use too much. I've used two different ones before, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this one since it had PEGs as the second and third ingredients. However, it exceeded my expectations!! I've been using it for about two weeks, and I haven't experienced any blemishes! I have sensitive skin and small bumps. Regarding how my skin feels after rinsing with water - whether it's slippery or squeaky clean - I'd say it's right in the middle! It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, so I didn't experience any dryness after use. Also, it doesn't leave a slippery residue, so there's no uncomfortable feeling afterwards! The scent is lovely, and I'm very satisfied with how it feels to use! It seems to cleanse well too! I always check by wiping with a toner pad after using a cleansing balm and doing my basic skincare routine, and it was fine! One more thing that sets it apart from other products - if you look at the attached photo, there's a space in the lid where you can put the spatula. It might seem like a small detail, but it makes it so much more hygienic and convenient to use! Great! The ingredients are a bit disappointing? I guess the PEGs are what make it feel so nice to use! If they could improve on that, I think many people would seek it out! If you cleanse once with just the cleansing balm and then wipe with a toner pad during your skincare routine, it's a nice, non-irritating cleanse!
