After wearing it for 11 hours overnight, the white pimples and sebum clusters hidden under dead skin cells finally surfaced. These white sebum clusters, if left alone, could become trapped under the skin and turn into inflamed acne that needs to be squeezed. But this patch is amazing - it calms inflammation and extracts only the sebum. Perfect! Wiping the area clean and applying the hydrocolloid patch is the ultimate solution! It even helped with cystic acne - those huge, deep-seated blemishes that are invisible to the naked eye but feel like they're growing beneath the skin. This patch prevented them from becoming massive, painful zits. I'm so impressed! The soothing ampoule they provided seems effective, but if you're not careful with application, it can reduce the patch's adhesiveness. Really, just use the tiniest drop possible. How to choose the right patch: Different materials work differently 1. Hydrocolloid: Absorbs discharge after squeezing a pimple, aiding in wound healing post-extraction. 2. Tea Tree: Helps calm and disinfect inflammatory acne. 3. Easydew Needle Patch's unique features: Magnesium needles disinfect acne bacteria + soothing spot treatment calms blemishes + the patch's hydrating properties soften dead skin cells, helping sebum plugs to be released. In conclusion, the pricier Easydew Needle Patch is truly effective for quickly reducing large, angry pimples and gently extracting sebum from blemishes that shouldn't be squeezed. Make sure to wear it for at least 8 hours to see results! I'm completely satisfied! It's far superior to other needle patches and definitely worth the higher price. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2022
After my evening cleanse, I first applied the Easyderm Needle Care patch and then followed my usual skincare routine. I removed it in the morning after sleeping with it on. For blemishes that haven't fully formed yet: I put it on a large, raised pimple that hadn't turned yellow yet. When I woke up in the morning, the sebum had completely subsided... I was so surprised, I didn't expect it to go down this much! It's amazing! The initial redness was still there, but even after a few days, the blemish didn't come back in that spot! For fully formed blemishes: When I put it on a blemish that was about 80-90% formed, the next day the sebum had hardened so much that I could remove it easily with tweezers or gently with a cotton swab, without causing any damage to the surrounding skin. I don't use acne patches often, but I've tried about 3 types, and this seems to be the most effective among them! The price is a bit higher compared to other products... But since the effectiveness is undeniable, it might be worth buying during Olive Young sales. Also, they're a bit too thin! You need to be careful when removing the film. Given the high price, if you remove the film incorrectly... it's heartbreaking. Please handle them with care. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 25, 2022
As luck would have it, I got a massive pimple on my forehead during the Hwahae Magic Day, so I decided to experiment with this patch. I applied it last night and removed it this morning, so it was on for about 8 hours. I've had good experiences with Easyderm patches from the pharmacy before, so I was curious about this new Needle Care version. Unlike other brands' needle patches, this one has silver needles that really stick to the skin, effectively tackling those painful, pus-filled blemishes. When I took it off in the morning, the yellow pus was gone, and my once-bulging pimple had flattened out and calmed down. It's amazing, considering how big and painful it was! If it swells up again in the afternoon, I'll apply another patch tonight. That should completely resolve it by tomorrow. Before applying, I was worried the needles might hurt, but they're so tiny that I didn't feel a thing. Once on, there was no irritation, and I actually wondered if it was working because I could barely feel the needles. But it turns out it's quite effective at soothing blemishes. I used to get a huge pimple once a month, but now I feel more prepared. Each pack comes with 4 needle patches, and they sent a generous amount, so I'm set for a while! I miss the tweezers that came with the regular Easyderm patches I bought before. Those tweezers were impressively sharp and gripped well. However, after using the Needle Care, I realized they're not necessary because these patches are larger and easier to handle without tweezers. One downside is that the magnesium needles are quite visible when you're out, making you look a bit like a Terminator. It would be great if they could tint the visible side of the magnesium needles white or skin-colored for more discreet wear. The main drawback, though, is the price. It feels a bit expensive for the amount you get, which is slightly disappointing. The key tip is to keep it on as long as possible! Apply it to clean, bare skin without any products for the best adhesion. Don't apply your skincare first and then complain about it not sticking or sliding off. Put the needle patch on the blemish first, then apply your toner or essence over it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2021
This is a review from The Hwahae Testers. I haven't tried other microneedle patches, but compared to regular acne patches, I was extremely satisfied with this one. First off, the microneedles effectively break through the sebum in pimples and blemishes, allowing the patch to absorb it, which significantly improved healing. When I applied it before bed and removed it in the morning, while it didn't make the blemish disappear instantly, the recovery was much faster than with regular patches. Where I'd need to use regular patches for several days, with this microneedle patch, the blemish would heal within a few days after just one application. I was also reassured to see that the needles maintained their shape even after removal. As someone with super sensitive skin, I was initially worried about the needles, but there was absolutely no need for concern - it caused no irritation whatsoever. Lastly, I appreciated that each patch was individually wrapped, allowing for worry-free use of a single pack at a time. The only downside was that there were only 4 patches per pack. Other than that, I didn't find anything particularly disappointing while using them! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 6, 2021
I tried these patches on both yellow, ripe blemishes that weren't visible to the naked eye and on firm, inflamed acne. They seemed to work better on the ripe blemishes. The photo shows the result of using it on a ripe blemish. I wore it for about 8 hours while sleeping, and when I removed it, sebum came out with it. There was no bleeding. It healed and calmed down immediately, and now it's completely gone without any hyperpigmentation. For the firm acne, while the firmness disappeared and it calmed down, it didn't completely vanish. These types of blemishes probably won't be resolved with just one application - you might need to use the patches multiple times. Unlike regular acne patches, the fact that these can calm blemishes just by wearing them is a huge advantage! Adhesion: Excellent Repurchase intention: Very likely Soothing effect: Very good While it's understandable that the price has gone up due to added features and individual packaging compared to other patches, it's still a bit disappointing. These might be more suitable for people who get occasional breakouts. For those who frequently get multiple blemishes, it might be too costly to use on all of them. It might be best to selectively use one or two on the most severe spots. I tend to break out especially during my period, so I plan to use these patches around that time! I think applying acne medication, letting it dry, and then putting on the patch could help maintain its effectiveness while boosting results.
