Can be easily applied to the face with quick swipes Can also be used as a substitute for concealer The container is pretty and convenient to carry around Difficult to apply evenly without a brush, and using a puff is also a bit challenging The color seems like shade #1, which is a bit light - en******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2023
This product is ideal for dry skin and gives a semi-glow finish. It's known for its thin, adherent texture and unique color. The coverage is moderate, but application technique can affect the result, so check out the tips section! Adhesion: It's really fantastic. I often get product buildup around my nose, but not with this one - it's completely seamless. Color: It's lighter than shade 21. I usually find 21 too dark, but going a shade lighter often results in a pink tone that causes darkening. This product, however, brightens without that pink undertone, so it's a perfect match for my skin. (Etude House Double Lasting in N21 was also quite pink on me) I tested shade 1 as well, which seems to be around a 17, without any noticeable pink tones. Matte Finish: While it claims to be semi-glow, on my skin it felt as matte as Estée Lauder foundation. It's so difficult to blend with a soft puff that it clumps up. You'll need to use a brush or damp beauty sponge. Ingredients: My skin felt increasingly dry as time went on. If you want higher coverage, use a brush. Personally, I find brush maintenance tedious and prefer a dewy finish, so I dampen my puff with toner before applying. Unless you have flawless skin, using a soft, airy puff will result in poor application and a matte finish. - co************Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 22, 2022
Wow, it's super convenient! The coverage is great, and it's not irritating at all. It's hygienic too. Plus, it doesn't leave a matte finish. I wish I had bought a lighter shade. I have a darker skin tone, but I want to look a bit brighter. Next time, I'll go for shade #1. - h.*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedOct 8, 2022
This shade matches my complexion perfectly. It has a nice yellow undertone. I usually prefer a pink undertone, so I was slightly disappointed. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 30, 2022
It seems to adhere quite well when you roughly apply it to your face and then pat it in with a cushion puff. Honestly, it's hard to find time for this during busy mornings. It's easier to just use a cushion foundation. Using a stick format doesn't improve coverage either, so there doesn't seem to be a compelling reason to use this product. - ta*****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 23, 2022
First off, the packaging is super cute! As someone who's pretty lazy when it comes to makeup, I love how easy it is to use - just swipe it on and pat with the puff, and you're done. So convenient! The ivory shade matched my #22 skin tone perfectly. The size is just right, fits nicely in my makeup pouch, and it's pretty enough that I enjoy carrying it around. It's my first time trying a stick foundation, and I'm impressed by how user-friendly it is. It works especially well with my Espoir puff - they're a perfect match! The staying power isn't the greatest, but it's easy to touch up on the go, which is nice. - ea*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2022
Reviewer: Shades 19-21 / Combination skin (oily T-zone, normal to dry U-zone) First off, the packaging is incredibly luxurious and beautiful... It's a pleasure to use! You might think Ivory = Shade 21, but as you can see in the photos, it's definitely lighter than 21! I'd guess it's closer to shade 19. This could be intriguing for those tired of cushions and foundations. The formula glides on smoothly! At first glance, it might seem too glowy, but once applied, it's not overwhelming (though oily skin types might find it quite luminous). I tried applying with a toothbrush-style brush and an Espoir cushion puff. The brush seemed to give a more matte finish, while the puff increased adherence. This would be great for those with normal to combination skin without blemishes! The coverage is... well, disappointing. It barely conceals anything, be it scars or blemishes. Adherence is average at best. Unless applied extremely thinly, it tends to separate and clump when wearing a mask. Though I had similar issues with Holika Holika's stick foundation, so it might be characteristic of the format. Either way, it's not ideal for our mask-wearing era. It's very susceptible to oil, disappearing quickly, so those with oily skin will need to set it with powder. It also tends to flake on dry areas, making it challenging for someone like me who prefers a quick application. While it looks bright initially, it darkens noticeably after just 1-2 hours. There's a difference between a foundation melding with your skin tone and oxidizing, and in my experience, this leans towards the latter, unfortunately. I'd recommend patting it on like a stamp rather than swiping to reduce clumping, but... that defeats the purpose of a stick foundation's convenience, doesn't it? - py*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2021
On days when my skin wasn't dry, I loved how it gave me a beautiful complexion without any darkening. I bought both the Ivory and Vanilla shades. I use Ivory for an all-over base and Vanilla as a highlighter. Instead of swiping it on, I'd recommend applying it with a stamping motion and then gently patting it in with a puff for the best results. When I used it on a dry skin day, it completely separated and looked terrible. - be*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 10, 2021
I've tried several stick foundations, but this one applies incredibly smoothly, which I love. The color payoff is beautifully spot-on. It's great that you can apply it thinly for a sheer, luminous finish. It's a bit disappointing that the packaging isn't made of a fingerprint-resistant material. For perfect coverage, apply one layer all over, then gently pat on a bit more where you need extra concealing! - be******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2021
Since I usually keep my skincare routine light, it didn't give me an immediate glow when I first applied it. It had more of a semi-matte finish initially, but as time passed, it blended naturally with my skin's oils, creating a subtle Inner Glow that made my complexion look even more beautiful. This is a product that enhances your skin's appearance over time. The shade 21 is just right, neither too yellow-based nor too pink-based, but a perfect ivory hue. While there's some transfer to masks, even after wearing it for a long time, it doesn't leave patchy marks when removed. Instead, it fades gracefully, like a thin layer lifting off, which I really appreciate. The coverage is a bit lacking. While it does a good job of concealing redness, it struggles to hide blemishes or acne. It's challenging to apply evenly with your fingers. Using a brush or puff will help it absorb more beautifully.
