Purchased from Olive Young. I've been consistently using Kundal, specifically their shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - just these three products. I've tried four scents: Acacia Moringa, Basil Citrus, Ylang Ylang, and Baby Powder. As expected, the classic is the best - Acacia Moringa's scent is top-notch. Initially, I bought Kundal from Coupang, but occasionally received leaking bottles or products with altered scents, so I switched to Olive Young. I keep an eye out for Kundal shampoo deals at Olive Young. Firstly, Kundal's fragrance is calming and mood-lifting. Acacia Moringa smells like honey with a few sprigs of rosemary. The sweet aroma finishes with a soft vanilla note lingering afterwards. Unlike some low pH shampoos that don't lather well, Kundal doesn't have this issue. It foams up nicely even with a small amount. While low pH shampoos often sacrifice hair texture, Kundal actually leaves hair feeling soft... Kundal is truly amazing! Kundal's cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking. I thought it cleaned well because it lathered nicely, but you really need to wait a day or so after washing to tell. I checked for scalp itchiness, dandruff, and oiliness - unfortunately, all three appeared. As someone with oily hair, I didn't notice while washing, but I'd recommend: + Skip the conditioner, use only shampoo, and apply a water-based essence just to the hair ends. Those with dry hair shouldn't worry, but the jojoba oil in the formula can make hair get oily quickly. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 30, 2020
At first, my husband loved it because of the pleasant scent. The lingering fragrance was quite nice. It also lathers up well. After exactly a week, my hair loss became severe... It's even marketed as an anti-hair loss shampoo, but it seems to be causing more hair loss and dandruff. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 16, 2019
The moringa scent was the only redeeming quality. If you're choosing a shampoo solely for fragrance, there are plenty of other options with pleasant scents. I regret buying this based on ingredients alone. No matter how good the ingredients are, if a shampoo can't perform its basic function, it's just useless. After using this, I developed so much dandruff that I switched back to my previous Organist shampoo. You shouldn't select a product based on ingredients alone; it needs to suit your skin type.
