I bought this shampoo along with other products because J.SOUP treatments are famous. It lathers well and has good cleansing effectiveness. However, I stopped using it because my hair felt dry afterwards. While I wouldn't recommend it, I think it might work well for those with oily scalps. The scent is similar to what's commonly found in herbal shampoos, which might be hit or miss for some. While using it, my hair felt stiff, and despite being marketed as an anti-hair loss shampoo, it didn't reduce the amount of hair falling out at all. In fact, I experienced a lot of shedding. I won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 11, 2024
It lathers well and has a pleasant scent. The product has a red-colored formula. I'm not sure about its cleansing effectiveness. The spray seems to have trouble dissolving completely. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 16, 2021
When I first used it, it lathered well and had a pleasant cooling effect. Using it alone without conditioner seems to cause more hair loss. I'm not sure why this happens. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2021
It's refreshingly nice! The foam lathers well and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. It's a bit disappointing that the ingredients aren't the best... I wish the formulation was a little better. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2021
My hair doesn't fall out as much anymore. The shampoo rinses out well, and it produces just the right amount of lather. The product isn't exactly budget-friendly, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 19, 2020
Compared to other anti-hair loss shampoos, this one lathers up nicely. I was pleasantly surprised that even after using quite a bit, my hair didn't become excessively stiff as I had expected. I was misled by the old advertisements claiming it would feel incredibly refreshing. Trusting that, I bought two bottles at once... but I was so disappointed to find there wasn't even the slightest cooling effect. To be honest, this experience makes me hesitant to try other products now. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 29, 2020
It really lathers up well. I usually rinse after shampooing for 1-2 minutes, and with some products, if you leave them on for a bit, your scalp can feel tight after rinsing. But with Red J, I didn't experience any of that tightness, which I really appreciated. Setting everything else aside, I bought this after seeing a sponsored ad on social media, focusing solely on its anti-hair loss claims. However, I didn't notice any effects related to hair loss prevention. I won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 26, 2020
My scalp is extremely oily and my hair is thin, so it gets greasy after just a day. I can't use just anything, which is why I only buy samples to find the right hair product. Since my hair falls out easily and I have some dandruff, I tried this product based on J.SOOP's consultation, as it's supposed to be good for preventing hair loss. The cleansing power of the foam is good. However, I'm not sure if it's effective for hair loss or if it makes my hair stiff. I can't tell if it makes my hair or scalp softer, or if it's really effective. On the bright side, the amount seems to last forever - it doesn't seem to decrease even with regular use! The price is way too high. I bought it with a gift card, but I couldn't afford it at full price. I've heard that hair loss shampoos can be bad for back acne, so I rarely use it, and only in small amounts. Plus, the ingredients aren't great either. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 21, 2020
The lather is rich and it seems to rinse off well! I had high hopes, but I'm disappointed. After washing, my hair feels stiff. Even though it's supposed to be an anti-hair loss shampoo, I'm still losing hair just the same. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 14, 2019
Rich lather even with a small amount. Feels gentle on sensitive scalps. Comfortable enough to use twice daily without any issues. Doesn't actually thicken hair. Not particularly budget-friendly.
