The cleansing effectiveness was great and it felt refreshing on my scalp. I've tried six different anti-hair loss shampoos (excluding J.Soop). Among the anti-hair loss shampoos I've used, this ranks in the bottom two. It leaves my hair feeling greasy. Compared to other shampoos, my hair strands actually feel thinner with this one. I noticed that the hair becomes progressively thinner towards the roots. Instead of applying the shampoo directly to your scalp, it's better to lather it up first before washing your hair! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2019
I used to lose a lot of hair, but since I started using this shampoo, I've noticed significantly less hair fall. That's why I'm still using it consistently! While it's great that it reduces hair loss, I'm using it because it's supposed to be suitable for sensitive scalps. However, it doesn't seem to have much effect on my scalp, and my hair gets oily quickly. I have acne-prone scalp and tend to experience itchiness, so I tried this shampoo. Unfortunately, I think I'll have to switch to a different one after finishing this bottle. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 12, 2019
The lather was great, giving me a really clean feeling. But I think that's about all it had going for it. I've been using this shampoo for nearly half a year. For the first three months, I thought it was good, but now I don't feel like my scalp has improved much. It's still red, itchy, and a bit smelly, with excess oil production... That's been my experience. - Hwahae UserOily SkinOct 30, 2018
The foam lathers up nicely, and I feel like it's improving my hair texture. The fragrance is quite pleasant too. I'm not sure if it's just not compatible with my scalp, but it seems to be causing some issues. As I have a seborrheic scalp, I notice my hair getting oily faster than usual. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAug 25, 2018
It produces a rich lather and noticeably reduces hair loss. The scent is subtle and generally pleasant. As someone with an extremely sensitive scalp prone to overheating, I experienced itching after using Red J. Additionally, my scalp tends to produce excess oil by evening, causing an odor at the crown. However, with Red J, when the oil surfaced in the evening, it was accompanied by a sour, rancid smell. I would strongly advise those with sensitive scalps to avoid this product. I personally had to discontinue use. - Hwahae UserOily SkinMay 10, 2018
I think this is really false advertising... I bought it knowing I might be fooled, but it's truly disappointing. My scalp is oily, but this made it even greasier and more brittle. I'm just going to stick with the shampoo I've been using - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2018
None. Absolutely not recommended. There wasn't a single positive thing about it, so I stopped using it. It made my hair greasy and caused more hair loss. Even worse, my scalp became so itchy that I had to scratch it multiple times a day... I'm definitely never using this again. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 2, 2018
So far, I've noticed a decrease in the amount of hair falling out It doesn't seem to remove oil effectively. A few hours after washing with this shampoo, my hair feels greasy and dandruff keeps appearing. That's why I alternate between using this J.SOOP shampoo one day and a different shampoo the next
