If I use products with questionable ingredients or active formulas - basically anything with even slight irritation - my skin is likely to react badly. On top of that, I have combination dehydrated skin, so if I use something too moisturizing or oily, I break out terribly. It's a real skincare dilemma... Naturally, I've tried many toners for sensitive skin with good ingredients (like Dokdo, Isntree, Ceanic, The Lab by blanc doux, Innisfree, etc.). The Hubleoom Kombucha Skin feels similar in effectiveness to those toners, but its organic ingredients are a major plus. Of course, it didn't irritate my skin, and it felt perfectly hydrating without being too oily - the user experience was really great. Let me break it down for you: 1. Texture It's somewhere between a watery toner and a slightly thicker one. The texture is similar to Isntree, but personally, I dislike Isntree's uniquely light yet slippery feel. The Kombucha toner doesn't feel slippery at all and has just the right consistency for quick absorption. 2. Ingredients Excellent. While there are many skincare products with good ingredients, it's rare to find a brand using organic raw materials. The ingredients marked as caution for sensitive skin are both natural extracts, so individual results may vary. It worked fine for me! 3. Hydration and Lasting Power Before the Kombucha toner, I was using The Lab by blanc doux, and I can hardly tell the difference in terms of hydration and lasting power. Both products provide a clean, moisturizing feel without being excessive. (I use the Kombucha toner followed by Dokdo emulsion, and occasionally Physiogel on dry areas - it feels like it balances both oil and moisture perfectly) 4. Packaging The packaging is really pretty, simple, and gives off a warm vibe. It can even serve as a decorative piece on your vanity. I think it's the most beautiful packaging among all the cosmetics I've used. However, as others have mentioned, it is a bit heavy due to the glass container.
Cons5. Scent Hmm... I feel like the scent might be the one flaw. It's above average in all aspects and even has great ingredients, but the fragrance is disappointing. The moment you apply it, there's a strong and unique aroma that hits you - it's the kind of scent that might make you feel a bit queasy if you smell it for too long. Of course, the scent doesn't linger for long and fades quickly. It's not a deal-breaker, more like a minor drawback? I think I might be more sensitive to it because I'm used to fragrance-free cosmetics.
TipConclusion: This is a gentle toner that works well for my atopic, sensitive, combination dehydrated skin. If they could improve the scent, I'd be very interested in purchasing it again!

I even use it in the morning before applying sunscreen and heading out. That's how moisturizing it is without any deep dryness. The product has a water-like consistency and doesn't feel sticky after application. I love the clean, attractive design of the toner bottle, and the cap has a dispenser that controls the amount, preventing it from gushing out. While I don't typically have many blemishes, my skin can react with small bumps if a product is too rich or nourishing. However, with consistent use of this toner, I didn't experience any breakouts. It also seems to help prevent dead skin cells from appearing when I wear makeup.
ConsThe scent is quite disappointing. It seems to be the characteristic kombucha smell, which becomes quite noticeable when I pour it onto my hands to apply. I'm not particularly sensitive, so it didn't bother me too much, but those who are sensitive to scents might find it bothersome. However, the smell doesn't linger - it disappears once you pat it in and let it absorb!
TipI usually have a prescription toner from my dermatologist that I use at night, so I applied this kombucha toner in the morning. The quantity is quite generous, and I considered using it as a mask. However, since the texture doesn't really soak into cotton pads well, I just kept it in the fridge and used it as a cool, refreshing toner in the morning.

I apply toner with my hands instead of using cotton pads. I don't like sticky or thick textures, but this one feels refreshingly light! 2. The amount control is excellent. Unlike pump toners that aren't suitable for hand application or those that sometimes dispense too much, this Kombucha toner comes out in a stable, hydrating stream. I love that there's no waste! 3. Being a vegan product is definitely a plus! It's so gentle that I applied it on a blemish without any stinging, and by the next morning, the spot had disappeared. 4. The finish is smooth and hydrated. It feels like dead skin cells have vanished? My makeup applies beautifully the next day. The after-feel is amazing - like smooth, egg-shell skin. The surface feels sleek and refined, while deep down it's full of moisture.
ConsAt first, I wondered if a product could smell this good, but when I applied it... there was a hint of herbal medicine scent. It smells a bit like ginseng. I debated taking off a star, but since I personally like these healthy scents, I gave it five stars! The scent dissipates quickly once applied to the face. However, those sensitive to smells might not enjoy it.
TipI apply it with my hands instead of cotton pads, and my skin has definitely improved! Also, if you soak the toner in the morning and put it in the fridge, then use it as a mask, your makeup will apply incredibly well that day.
