It's great to use right after a shower or when your scalp feels warm. When sprayed, it gives a refreshing sensation to the scalp, and the subtle rosemary scent is lovely. The cooling effect on the scalp lasts longer than expected, which is why I keep using this product consistently. The 100ml size makes it inconvenient to carry around. You'll need to get a travel-sized version for on-the-go use. - yg*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2025
1. Seems to help with dry scalp I used to have a lot of dandruff due to my dry scalp. I heard scalp ampoules could help, so I gave this a try. After thoroughly washing my hair and generously applying this product, I noticed a dramatic reduction in dandruff the next day. When applied, it gives a strong tingling sensation, like a cooling patch. You might think this would make your scalp even drier, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I'd recommend this for those who get dandruff due to dryness. It looks like a watery toner, but if you look closely, there's a tiny layer of oil! I think this helps moisturize the scalp. 2. Great spray power Each pump dispenses enough product to thoroughly coat the scalp. Sometimes it feels like it's running down a bit, but I actually like that it feels like it's covering everything well. 1. Tingling sensation I'm a bit concerned that the tingling sensation might be irritating and feels like it contains alcohol, which could potentially dry out the scalp. - na******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedApr 18, 2025
Review after using more than two bottles I used to massage my scalp with rosemary oil for hair loss prevention, but then I discovered this product from Aromatica. Curious, I gave it a try and it's been working so well that I've been using it consistently. It's great to spritz on after washing your hair, before drying. It provides a nice cooling effect. I used to have a scalp cooling spray for summer, but that one was too intense and made my scalp feel a bit uncomfortable (slightly tingly). This one, however, gives a pleasantly mild cooling effect without any discomfort. It's also perfect for spritzing on when your head feels hot. It doesn't make your hair greasy or sticky. (Based on my experience with a dry scalp) There weren't really any downsides. It's convenient that you can buy refills and just swap out the bottle. If you're looking for an extreme cooling sensation, you might find this a bit mild. For the best results, spray this on and then blow-dry your scalp with cool air. - je**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 4, 2025
I have combination dehydrated skin that changes with the seasons. The refreshing rosemary scent helps cool and manage scalp heat, while the spray format makes it easy to maintain hydration comfortably. The scent is quite strong, so it might be a love-it-or-hate-it situation, but personally, I enjoy the fragrance. I recommend spraying it on before blow-drying, letting it absorb, and then drying your hair with cool air. - mi********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 1, 2025
This is a product I keep using. While I'm not sure about its effectiveness for hair loss, I use it for its aromatherapy-like experience. The price is quite reasonable, which allows for liberal use. It gives a refreshing sensation on the scalp, which is pleasant. The rosemary scent is enjoyable when drying your hair after use. I haven't noticed any tangible benefits in terms of preventing hair loss. - kj*****Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMar 24, 2025
When sprayed on the scalp, it gives a cool and refreshing sensation. The rosemary scent adds to the fresh feeling, which I really enjoy. I bought this for scalp care, but I didn't notice any significant benefits. The alcohol content made it a bit harsh, and it caused some blemishes, so I wasn't impressed. - ch********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 23, 2025
As someone with thin hair and not much volume, I was surprised when a hairstylist told me that using a scalp tonic is more important than using expensive shampoos or treatments. I've purchased this product multiple times from Hwahae at a great price. The cooling effect is just right, making your scalp feel refreshed - it's like the difference between just brushing your teeth and using floss for the first time. The product maintains that cooling sensation while also hydrating the scalp. After consistent use, I've noticed my hair volume has increased significantly and has been maintaining well. While I'd recommend any scalp tonic, this one is especially great for summer due to its cooling effect. I've even used it on friends during trips, and they've all reached out wanting to buy it when it's on sale. Three of them have already made additional purchases, and those who received it as a gift were all satisfied. The scalp brush in the photo is also fantastic. It's small and cute, perfect for travel, but it's surprisingly effective at stimulating the scalp and doesn't fall short in brushing. I even bought a second one with the brush to gift to my sibling. If you use this in winter and go outside immediately, you might feel a bit chilly. Also, it used to be available in refill packs that were more affordable and could be used multiple times with the same container. Recently, however, the refills aren't as cheap, or in some cases, even more expensive than buying a new bottle. This is disappointing, especially since I thought of them as an environmentally conscious brand. Unfortunately, to get the best price, consumers often end up buying new bottles instead of refills, which isn't ideal. - hi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2025
It really helped with my itchy scalp! I also loved the cool, refreshing scent. Since it's a tonic, if you're not careful with the amount, it can run down your forehead. - rh*******Dry SkinJan 27, 2025
It gives a slightly refreshing feeling. I really like the soothing sensation it provides. I can't find a compelling reason to use this product. However, I'm making good use of the wooden comb I received as a free gift. - gr********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2025
It instantly cools down, feeling refreshing and gentle on the skin. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy. I'd say it performs above average. The scent is quite divisive. Personally, I'm neutral about it, but it has a distinctive fragrance that my family members don't particularly enjoy.
