This is a review after finishing the entire bottle. I decided to try it since it was created by Director Pi. It has a watery texture that tends to drip, so it's more convenient to use with a foaming dispenser. Even a small amount produces good lather, and the cleansing effectiveness seems decent. Right after washing, my skin feels hydrated, but there's some tightness as it dries. If you apply a mist or your skincare routine right after cleansing, it shouldn't be a big issue. The disappointing aspect is that I wish it came with a foaming dispenser from the start. When using the original container, the product can splash or drip easily. A foaming dispenser is absolutely necessary. With just one pump, you can easily cleanse your face. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2025
This is a must-have product. It's gentle yet effective at cleansing, with great ingredients. It's the most satisfying cleanser I've used. I wish they'd offer a larger size! This product deserves more recognition. I recently switched to this cleanser and I'm truly satisfied with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinApr 8, 2023
Gentle, hydrating, and non-drying. Excellent for dry skin types, with a finish that suits most skin types. Creates a rich lather even with a small amount. Cleansing effectiveness is quite good. The packaging desperately needs improvement to match the formula quality. The container seems thoughtlessly chosen, completely disregarding the Dior brand value and product efficacy. Whose idea was this? - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinOct 14, 2022
• Texture / Feel It has a viscous liquid consistency. Lathers well, which is nice. Also, it has a very lightweight texture that's comfortable to use! • Packaging Eco-friendly packaging. Dispenses just the right amount. Simple design. • Scent It's a scent that's hard to describe, but unless you're extremely sensitive, it should be fine. Maybe reminds me a bit of laundry soap? • Ingredients The ingredients are really excellent • Cleansing Effectiveness Pretty good! It seems like it would remove most regular sunscreens, but I haven't tried it with foundation so I'm not sure about that. Hmm... There's not really anything bad. If I absolutely had to pick something, I guess the packaging isn't the prettiest. But it's not terrible either... Anyway, there's nothing particularly negative to mention. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2022
First off, I have extremely combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin. There are many ingredients that don't agree with me, so I was hesitant about the citric acid. But after hearing positive reviews from friends, I decided to give it a try. The best part is that it feels like it cleanses really well. (I only wear sunscreen and lip products.) When I first used it, I gently wiped with a cotton pad, and nothing came off at all. I liked the feel of it more than an oil cleanser. I took off one star because of the downsides... After washing my face, it felt way too dry for me. Even without patting dry with a towel, just with the water still on my face, it felt really tight. Before I could even apply toner, my whole face felt so dry that I started to see tiny bumps appearing... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2021
Great cleansing effectiveness, moisturizing, and fragrance-free. Excellent for men when shaving, with no irritation. The case lacks sophistication... Well, if it's for the environment... Be aware that it looks better with the outer packaging removed. Massage it directly onto your face like a cleansing oil, then wet your hands and lather it up. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 8, 2021
First off, it's incredibly hydrating. The cleansing effectiveness is also great. On days when I wear heavy makeup, I use cleansing oil first, followed by this cleanser, and my skin feels so comfortable. My complexion has really improved. I highly recommend using this along with The Pieu essence. There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. The only thing is that the packaging isn't particularly attractive. However, it seems like it would be easy to recycle when empty, which I consider a plus. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 29, 2021
I've been using this for my morning and evening cleanse since receiving it on 11/26. Here's what I love: Cleansing power: I was worried it wouldn't dissolve foundation, but it removes makeup incredibly well! Its cleansing effectiveness is top-notch. Hydration: Despite its strong cleansing power, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. Texture: It's different from typical foam cleansers. It has a gel-like consistency, or a viscous liquid texture, similar to dish soap. Zero irritation: No dryness or discomfort whatsoever. Eco-friendly: The packaging is super easy to recycle! These two points alone make it a great foam cleanser. While I haven't noticed any worsening of existing blemishes or new breakouts, my skin is extremely sensitive to cleansers. I'll keep monitoring and update if needed. So far, this is one of the best cleansers I've used, alongside What's M Cleansing Oil and Medimix Ayurveda Soap. The packaging could be improved. I mentioned this about the essence too... The gel-like texture makes it hard to control the amount dispensed from this toner-like bottle. Scent: It smells like dish soap. It's not fragrant, but not unscented either. The scent isn't particularly pleasant. Foam: While it's meant to be used with foam, it doesn't lather well on bare skin when removing makeup. Even with wet hands, it produces very fine bubbles. The foam is delicate, but it feels like it uses surfactants that produce less lather.
