I have combination skin that occasionally gets inflammatory acne, and I frequently experience seborrheic dermatitis and folliculitis. Since this product has zero ingredients that trigger Malassezia folliculitis, I used it effectively when my folliculitis was spreading. I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized, and I'm pleased that it doesn't cause any blemishes. I think it would have been better if the container had a pump dispenser. I'm not sure if its cleansing effectiveness is particularly outstanding, so I did a double cleanse - first with The Face Shop cleanser, then followed up with a separate cleansing step. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 3, 2025
Skin type: - Combination dehydrated skin - Thin and sensitive skin - Prone to blemishes when consuming too many sweets Texture: - The ultimate in gentleness... I used it with a foam maker, and the compatibility is truly outstanding. It cleanses incredibly softly, and the hydration is superb. If you have sensitive skin like me, please, please use it with a foam maker. Packaging: - The transparent packaging makes it convenient to check how much product is left, and it looks clean and neat. Effects: - It truly feels like a gentle cleansing experience A texture that anyone, regardless of age or gender, would be satisfied with Highly recommended for those with a compromised skin barrier due to its moisturizing properties There aren't any downsides, but I'm really frustrated with always having to write at least 20 characters. Please, can we get rid of this requirement... I'm begging you. Use it with a foam maker! It's incredibly gentle and amazing - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 24, 2025
This is a review after finishing the entire bottle. I decided to try it since it was created by Director Pi. It has a watery texture that tends to drip, so it's more convenient to use with a foaming dispenser. Even a small amount produces good lather, and the cleansing effectiveness seems decent. Right after washing, my skin feels hydrated, but there's some tightness as it dries. If you apply a mist or your skincare routine right after cleansing, it shouldn't be a big issue. The disappointing aspect is that I wish it came with a foaming dispenser from the start. When using the original container, the product can splash or drip easily. A foaming dispenser is absolutely necessary. With just one pump, you can easily cleanse your face. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 31, 2024
Oh no, it's been discontinued? I should have left a review earlier... This was a gentle, hydrating, low pH foam cleanser that didn't cause any blemishes. It was my first time trying a water-based foam cleanser, and I was quite satisfied. The ingredients were really gentle and good - such a shame it's gone! Being low pH, it's not suitable for evening cleansing - only for morning cleansing or days when you've only applied basic skincare. The cleansing effectiveness isn't great. I tried using it to remove makeup and as a second cleanse in the evening, skipping cleansing oil or water. It left a slippery feeling, as if the cleansing was incomplete. I thought it was just because of the low pH, but I woke up with inflamed blemishes. Definitely don't use this to remove makeup. While the packaging seems to have been renewed, the plastic wrap is oddly applied. Water can seep between the plastic layers during use, pooling there. When you eventually remove the plastic, you might encounter a terrible smell... I recommend removing the plastic wrap right before first use. This is typical of all low pH cleansers, but if you want to use it in the evening, skip the cleansing oil and cream. Instead, use cleansing water or wipes for your first cleanse, then use this as your second cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinApr 8, 2023
Gentle, hydrating, and non-drying. Excellent for dry skin types, with a finish that suits most skin types. Creates a rich lather even with a small amount. Cleansing effectiveness is quite good. The packaging desperately needs improvement to match the formula quality. The container seems thoughtlessly chosen, completely disregarding the Dior brand value and product efficacy. Whose idea was this? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 9, 2022
It seems gentle and effective at cleansing. Remember to use this as a first step cleanser if you're wearing waterproof makeup. My skin feels hydrated after washing. The downside might be that it runs out quite quickly. Also, while it's supposed to be fragrance-free, there's a somewhat ambiguous scent that's hard to describe. For best results, massage it onto dry skin first, then add water and continue cleansing. This method works really well. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 18, 2022
The texture is quite thin! It's almost like water? But it can also be used as a cleansing oil. I only applied sunscreen, so I'm not sure about its cleansing effectiveness. However, it's gentle! It's perfect as a morning cleanser or for the second cleanse. And I like that it feels hydrating! There aren't really any downsides...? If I had to nitpick, maybe the packaging? Since it's not a pump-type, it seems easy to use too much. Also, while this product doesn't give the impression that blemishes will disappear, it doesn't cause new ones either! I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and dry elsewhere. I rarely get cystic acne, but I'm concerned about small bumps, blackheads, and whiteheads. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2021
Great cleansing effectiveness, moisturizing, and fragrance-free. Excellent for men when shaving, with no irritation. The case lacks sophistication... Well, if it's for the environment... Be aware that it looks better with the outer packaging removed. Massage it directly onto your face like a cleansing oil, then wet your hands and lather it up. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 8, 2021
First off, it's incredibly hydrating. The cleansing effectiveness is also great. On days when I wear heavy makeup, I use cleansing oil first, followed by this cleanser, and my skin feels so comfortable. My complexion has really improved. I highly recommend using this along with The Pieu essence. There's nothing disappointing about the product itself. The only thing is that the packaging isn't particularly attractive. However, it seems like it would be easy to recycle when empty, which I consider a plus. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 29, 2021
I've been using this for my morning and evening cleanse since receiving it on 11/26. Here's what I love: Cleansing power: I was worried it wouldn't dissolve foundation, but it removes makeup incredibly well! Its cleansing effectiveness is top-notch. Hydration: Despite its strong cleansing power, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. Texture: It's different from typical foam cleansers. It has a gel-like consistency, or a viscous liquid texture, similar to dish soap. Zero irritation: No dryness or discomfort whatsoever. Eco-friendly: The packaging is super easy to recycle! These two points alone make it a great foam cleanser. While I haven't noticed any worsening of existing blemishes or new breakouts, my skin is extremely sensitive to cleansers. I'll keep monitoring and update if needed. So far, this is one of the best cleansers I've used, alongside What's M Cleansing Oil and Medimix Ayurveda Soap. The packaging could be improved. I mentioned this about the essence too... The gel-like texture makes it hard to control the amount dispensed from this toner-like bottle. Scent: It smells like dish soap. It's not fragrant, but not unscented either. The scent isn't particularly pleasant. Foam: While it's meant to be used with foam, it doesn't lather well on bare skin when removing makeup. Even with wet hands, it produces very fine bubbles. The foam is delicate, but it feels like it uses surfactants that produce less lather.
