  Pros

  I'd like to give it a good score, but personally, I can't. I've tried various cleansing waters, but this one doesn't seem to remove makeup particularly well. The double cleansing feels similar to other products... there's no real advantage.

  Cons

  Maybe it's because I have super sensitive skin, but when I use a cotton pad to remove sunscreen from my face and around my eyes, the burning sensation is so intense I can't open my eyes. It's so painful that tears start streaming down.

  Cons

  I switched from an oil to this water-based remover, but it stings my eyes terribly. I usually remove my makeup while looking in the mirror, but it's so irritating that I can't even open my eyes. I typically only wear cushion foundation and lip color, but the lip product takes quite a bit of rubbing to come off.

  While it's recommended to use with a cotton pad, I found it works fine when I just pour it into my palm and apply directly.

  Here's my review as one of The Hwahae Testers! I'm sharing my thoughts after using this product for about a week. With winter setting in, the area around my mouth has become extremely dry, so I usually opt for cleansing oils! However, I got lucky and was chosen to try this product. First, let's talk about its cleansing effectiveness! While I don't typically wear mascara, I do use a brush-pen type eyeliner. I was amazed at how well it removed my makeup overall! Even when using cleansing oils, I always struggled with removing eyeliner completely. But with this product, I just soaked a cotton pad, gently pressed it on my eyes, and wiped - the makeup came right off! Next, let's discuss the feel on the skin. I remember previous cleansing waters I've tried left my skin feeling squeaky clean rather than moisturized. This product, however, leaves your skin feeling as if you've just used a gentle toner! It's so hydrating that it almost feels a bit slippery, but without any greasy residue! Lastly, about the packaging. I really appreciated that the label can be separated for recycling! The narrow opening made it easy to control the amount when applying to a cotton pad, and it was also convenient for transferring to another container if needed.

  Cons

  I experienced a slight stinging in my eyes, so be careful when cleansing around the eye area. Also, I noticed that how the product feels can vary depending on your skin's condition. Some days it felt great, but when my skin wasn't at its best, I felt a burning sensation. The next morning, my skin looked red as if it had peeled off. I wouldn't say it's completely gentle for all skin types!

  The Hwahae Testers review Surprisingly, the cleansing effectiveness was impressive! It even removed all my point makeup. The volume is also beast-sized. However...

  1. Fragrance This was the most critical issue for me... I'm not sure what scent it is, but it smells like rubber..? Ah... the fragrance is really... I can't use this because of the scent... If it were just a subtle scent, I could hold my breath and use it, but it's too strong... 2. Tingling sensation After using it for a few days, I noticed a tingling sensation.. I thought maybe I was applying it too roughly, so I tried again two days later, gently this time, but it still stung a bit... I'm not sure if it's because of this, but between the fragrance and this, I don't think I'll be reaching for it again...

  Pros

  When I use foam cleansers, I often feel like my eye makeup isn't thoroughly removed. But using this cleansing water as the first step in my cleansing routine works wonders! The generous amount means it'll last a long time, which is fantastic.

  Cons

  My cheeks are sensitive and prone to blemishes. Unfortunately, this cleansing water doesn't seem to agree with them, causing some irritation. So now I only use it to remove my eye makeup.

  - Gentle! The ingredients are great, and I barely felt any irritation! - Cleansing effectiveness! It removes almost everything except mascara really well! - Great value! Large size! I received it for free as part of The Hwahae Testers, but the original price is actually quite reasonable! I would definitely repurchase! The product arrived carefully packaged.

  Cons

  - Eye irritation! I'm a bit sensitive to these things, but when it got into my eyes, it really stung... I usually use a separate lip and eye remover, so it wasn't a big issue for me, but those with sensitive eyes should be cautious.

  Tip

  - There's a container with DIY pads available at Daiso that works really well with this product for convenient use. - For eye makeup, it's better to use a dedicated lip and eye remover for a more thorough cleanse.

  I've seen many reviews saying the artificial fragrance is strong, but I found it quite mild and pleasant! I absolutely recommend this product!!!!! It's the first cleansing water I've ever used that removes makeup so thoroughly.... Have I been using the wrong products all this time? I always used to stress about leftover makeup even after cleansing diligently, but with this product, a few swipes and everything's gone! The cleansing effectiveness is truly impressive!!!

  I've been using this product well, but after removing eye makeup thoroughly, my eyes hurt so much when I open them... I think some residue might have gotten into my eyes when I opened them... My eyes sting terribly... Be careful everyone...!!

  Since I don't typically wear heavy makeup, this worked well for me. I used it to remove my base makeup, as I prefer a separate lip and eye remover. My routine involves using micellar water first, followed by a foam cleanser. I'd say the cleansing effectiveness was so-so. Previously, I was using Bioderma!

  Cons

  I really wouldn't recommend using this near your eyes... While Bioderma didn't sting much, this one made my eyes seriously burn and tingle. The fragrance wasn't great either.

  Tip

  One positive aspect is that it comes in a large size.
