  Texture and Feel: It has a watery consistency and is nearly fragrance-free. For the first cleanse, I soaked a cotton pad and wiped my face. Being slightly acidic, it caused minimal irritation and left a refreshing feeling. Cleansing Effectiveness: I have oily skin and tend to get cystic acne when using cleansing oils in summer, so I bought this water-based cleanser. Since switching, I've had almost no cystic acne, but the cleansing power seems a bit weaker. It doesn't seem to remove mineral sunscreens very effectively.

  Cons

  After wiping with a cotton pad and following up with a slightly alkaline foam cleanser, my skin barrier would occasionally break down, causing a tingling sensation. This might be more suitable for those who use a low pH foam cleanser for their second cleanse.

  I liked that it was slightly acidic, so there was no tightness. As for cleansing power, I couldn't really tell the difference between this and other cleansing waters, since point makeup needs a lip and eye remover to come off unless it's oil or balm-based.

  There are apparently two ingredients that might irritate sensitive skin. However, my skin didn't have a bad reaction.

  Great cleansing effectiveness and being micellar with a slightly acidic pH means no need for a second cleanse. It has good ingredients, causes no irritation, and is just an all-around solid product that doesn't fall short in any aspect. It really performs the core functions of a cleansing water well.

  There's not really anything bad to say, but it doesn't have any clear distinguishing features compared to other products. Then again, you can't expect whitening or deep hydration from a cleansing water, can you?

During winter, I often experience tightness after cleansing, but this product left my skin feeling quite comfortable. Even when following up with foam cleansing, my skin felt smooth and the texture was noticeably improved. Being a low pH cleansing water, it feels hydrating and gentle on the skin, which I love! The cleansing effectiveness is just right. While it may not remove heavy makeup or waterproof products, it does an excellent job of thoroughly cleansing base makeup and most other cosmetics. With a generous 500ml size, it's perfect for someone like me who uses cleansing products liberally. Absolutely fantastic!

  1. Scent Thanks to its gentle, natural fragrance, you can use it with a refreshing feeling! 2. Cleansing effectiveness I don't usually wear makeup, so I tried using this for evening cleansing. Even though I had a bare face, it was a day with a lot of fine dust, and the cotton pad got incredibly dirty! You might think that being a low pH product, it would have less cleansing power, but that's not the case at all! The cleansing effectiveness is excellent. 3. Easy to control amount As you can see in the photo, the opening has a small hole! Compared to other products, the hole is narrower, making it easier to control the amount when applying to a cotton pad! There's no risk of oversaturating and having it drip, and personally, this is my favorite feature.

  1. Foam When I used it with a cotton pad and rubbed a bit, it created foam on my face. It seems difficult to use this product alone for cleansing, and a water rinse might be necessary! I found this aspect a bit puzzling.

  The best thing about this product is its ingredients! As someone with sensitive, acne-prone combination dehydrated skin, I'm greatly affected by ingredients, so I prioritize them when buying cosmetics, especially for skincare and cleansing products. This product passes with flying colors as it contains no harmful ingredients! I also love that it's slightly acidic and gentle on the skin! It's great that they've considered maintaining the skin's slightly acidic pH for optimal health, and I'm satisfied with how non-irritating it is. The cleansing effectiveness for base makeup is excellent! When I use this product with a cotton pad to remove face makeup, it works wonderfully. However, being a mild product, it's not as effective on long-lasting eye makeup. But most people use a separate lip and eye makeup remover anyway, so it's not an issue at all. The large size and 50% discount on Hwahae make it great value for money. It's a generous amount that will last a long time, and with the current sale on Hwahae, it's quite affordable. Though the regular price might be a bit steep. I appreciate that it doesn't gush out and allows for easy control of the amount. The small opening prevents excessive dispensing, making it economical and convenient to use just the right amount.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to mention something, it would be the lower effectiveness in removing point makeup. Also, while I prefer unscented products, this one does have a fragrance, though it's not bothersome at all.

  Tip

  I split a 5-ply cotton pad into 3-ply and 2-ply sections. I use the 3-ply with this product to remove base makeup, and the 2-ply with a lip and eye remover for point makeup.
