  - Cleansing effectiveness True to its name as a cleansing water, it has good cleansing power. While it didn't completely remove mascara or tints (I had to use a separate remover for those), that's expected from a cleansing water. - Price Currently on Hwahae, it's priced at 9,900 won for 500ml, which is quite reasonable. - Ingredients I'm pleased that there aren't any particularly harmful ingredients.

  - After-feel The finish isn't clean, but rather feels overly moisturizing to the point of being sticky. It makes me want to rinse my face quickly. - Sensitivity Perhaps because I have super sensitive skin, I found it somewhat irritating. Using it with a foam dispenser instead of cotton pads made it a bit more tolerable.

  Hello! I'm a man in my late 20s with combination dehydrated skin that gets oily as the day progresses. 1. I use this to remove sunscreen, and it does a fantastic job of cleansing thoroughly. 2. After cleansing, there's a pleasant, slightly cool floral scent that I really enjoy. 3. I have sensitive skin, but this is gentle and doesn't cause much irritation. 4. It has a completely water-like texture, so it's not sticky at all. I've tried two cleansing waters (To*mo*) and two cleansing oils (Bi*re and Ma*ko*), but this one has been the best for me.

  As a Hwahae Tester, I should provide a very detailed review... Well, For those using it as a first cleanse to remove light makeup or sunscreen, you probably won't find many downsides. 1. There's a slightly sticky feeling during cleansing. It feels more like hydration than stickiness to me, but those with super sensitive skin should keep this in mind. 2. The opening is a flip-top type, so there's a slight possibility of leakage if tipped sideways...? 3. It has a floral-like scent, so it might not suit those who prefer fragrance-free products.

  Tip

  The price is a bit high, so I recommend buying it during a sale! Since it has a completely water-like texture, using cotton pads is a must! If you're new to cleansing waters and unsure, I'd recommend giving this a try!

  The water-like formula dispenses easily onto a cotton pad with a gentle squeeze. When wiping, it doesn't just evaporate but clings to the skin like water being squeezed from a sponge. This suggests a low alcohol content, but be careful as it might drip from the cotton if you're not cautious. I tested it on various makeup products. It effectively removed everything from pearl eyeshadows to glitters, lipsticks, and even lightly staining tints. Only the notoriously stubborn tints weren't fully removed, but those are designed to be long-lasting anyway. Overall, I'd say its cleansing effectiveness is pretty solid and reliable. (Excluding the heavily staining tints, as they're intentionally made to be difficult to remove.)

  There's a noticeable scent. While not overpowering, it has a faint nail polish remover-like smell that might bother some people. Although it has good cleansing power, it leaves a slight sticky feeling. It feels more like a cleansing ampoule than a water cleanser. I'd recommend following up with a foam cleanser rather than ending your routine with just this product.

However, I personally found it disappointing that I couldn't properly remove my mascara due to eye irritation.   I immediately got the impression that this was a gentle cleansing water. The fact that it's almost fragrance-free really added to that feeling. My skin tends to be on the sensitive side, but even with consistent use, I didn't experience any blemishes or tingling sensations. The cleansing effectiveness was also better than I expected. I don't typically wear heavy makeup, but it seemed to remove both base and color makeup quite well. Overall, I was quite satisfied with it.

  To be honest, it's not a cleansing water that made me think 'Wow, this is amazing!' It was just... good. Average, I'd say.   The texture is similar to a skin toner. It's easy to use and comes in a generous amount. The scent is almost undetectable, making it suitable for those sensitive to fragrances (like myself). It's a cleanser that can be used without water, and I appreciated that it could remove makeup with a cotton pad. (Photo description) I tested it on lipstick and eyebrow product on the back of my hand. After wiping twice with a cotton pad soaked in the product, most of the makeup was removed. I use Estée Lauder foundation, which usually requires double cleansing. I found that it took about four cotton pads to remove all traces of makeup from my face, and five to include my neck. By the way, I bought cotton pads from Daiso for 2000 won, which work well and come in a large quantity.

  After using about four cotton pads on my face, I was concerned about potential irritation from the friction. Those with sensitive or redness-prone skin might want to avoid cleansing with cotton pads. While this product contains only gentle ingredients that shouldn't harm the skin, I noticed it left a slightly sticky residue, so I ended up rinsing with water afterward. After removing heavy makeup (foundation) with this product and then rinsing with water, my skin felt a bit dry. However, for a quick morning cleanse with just one cotton pad, my skin felt fine. That's why I prefer using it for quick cleansing in the morning when I'm in a hurry, or after swimming when I need to cleanse again, rather than for evening double cleansing. It's very convenient in these situations, and using it just once doesn't irritate my skin much.

  Tip

  For travel, you can soak cotton pads in the product and store them in a ziplock bag, or use a contact lens case (or a similar-sized container from Daiso) to carry pre-soaked cotton pads. This is a tip for those who find carrying the full-size bottle too bulky for just 1-2 uses. If you need about a week's worth, you can decant it into a 100ml empty bottle from places like Daiso.

  Before using it, I was really worried because my skin had suddenly flipped out, probably due to the abrupt weather change. Fortunately, my blemishes didn't get worse or reappear. When using it, the cool, refreshing sensation and the moisturizing feel made me wonder if my makeup was actually being removed. But surprisingly, everything except mascara came off well! I expected the mascara to stay on since this is a cleansing water. Even though it feels hydrating after use, like other cleansing waters, I still felt the need to rinse once more. The scent was also very close to being fragrance-free!

  There's a slight sticky feeling left after use, so I think it's necessary to rinse again with a cleansing foam. Since it's a cleansing water and not a cleansing oil, it didn't remove mascara at all... not even a bit;(

  I usually only use cleansing foam and oil for my skincare routine, but after trying this cleansing water, I feel like I can remove my makeup more thoroughly and cleanly. I'm planning to use it consistently from now on! I tested it on both the back of my hand and my face, and it effectively removes base makeup, lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, and more. However, for lipstick and mascara, you need to rub a bit harder for complete removal, which might cause some irritation. Apart from that, its cleansing effectiveness seems excellent! After use, my face doesn't feel tight or tingly at all. It seems to be a hydrating and gentle cleansing water that's kind to the skin.
