It's nourishing, moisturizing, and has a nice, firm texture. I even received a gratis trial kit, which I'm absolutely thrilled about!
ConsThe only downside is that being soap-based, it can be a bit tricky to store properly.

While Dove creates fluffy lather, Amplestone has a slippery feel with a rich, creamy texture. You can really sense the high ampoule content when using it. However, when using just your hands, it doesn't produce as much lather. ▪ Scent: The sandalwood fragrance might be divisive, but I enjoyed its unisex appeal. I thought the scent would dissipate quickly after showering, but it had surprising longevity, which left me feeling refreshed post-shower. The soap itself is quite fragrant, so it could even act as a mild air freshener.
Cons▪ Dryness: Despite the high ampoule content, I expected more hydration. Compared to the initial rich texture, I felt some dryness after showering. I have dry skin and use body emulsion even in summer, so that could be a factor... but I noticed significant dryness on my elbows and calves. ▪ Shape: While the gua sha shape is Amplestone's signature design, I found the curved form somewhat inconvenient to use. When using the soap directly without a mesh pouch, the grip wasn't great, and I often dropped it. Though it has a firm texture, it did get slightly mushy when dropped. Also, due to its slipperiness, it was challenging to give myself a firm, invigorating massage during showers.
TipIt stored well on a standard wall-mounted soap dish without getting soggy or deteriorating.

Its angular shape is perfect for massaging puffy morning faces. I love using it after my evening cleansing routine - it leaves my skin feeling so light and clean, I drift off to sleep feeling refreshed. It seems to effectively remove excess oil too, leaving my skin feeling fresh and matte. I used to think all soaps were the same, but this one's a game-changer! And let's talk about the scent - it's not unscented (which I dislike as it makes me feel like I'm not applying anything), but it has this wonderful, natural soap fragrance that's universally appealing. I'm absolutely thrilled with it!
ConsThe only downside is that it's just a bar soap. I can't help but think it might have been even better as a liquid cleanser that you could apply with a silicone applicator.
TipHere's a pro tip: To reduce morning puffiness, rinse your face with cold water, then use this soap to massage upwards along your jawline. It's amazing how well it works to de-puff your face!

The soap's shape, reminiscent of a gua sha tool, was perfect for massaging my neck, shoulders, and calf muscles while showering. When lathered, it has this incredibly rich texture that leaves your skin feeling hydrated, not dry, after rinsing. The scent is a refreshingly cool, gender-neutral fragrance that makes every shower feel like a stress-relieving experience.
ConsI've been trying to find something to critique after using it daily for a week, but I honestly can't find any faults yet.
TipIt works wonderfully with my exfoliating mitt! The rich lather is a perfect match. After rinsing, I reapply the foam generously to areas I want to massage, using the soap like a gua sha tool to finish my routine.

When you rub it between your palms and pull them apart, the texture is so elastic it creates little strings - it's fun to play with! The texture really lives up to its 'ampoule' name, feeling nourishing and luxurious. The fragrance is absolutely divine! It smells like a five-star hotel bathroom, creating a spa-like atmosphere for at-home pampering.
ConsWhile the gua sha-inspired design is great, it's frustrating that you can't actually grip it properly. The foam makes it quite slippery, which makes massaging uncomfortable. You can sort of manage by using your arm as a base, which does feel nice, but it's not ideal.
TipThe scent is so lovely that I like to gently massage it in for 1-2 minutes, letting the fragrance really sink into my skin. It's such a mood-booster! Unexpectedly, it works even better than a traditional exfoliating soap for removing dead skin cells. The rich foam seems to lock in moisture, softening the skin and making exfoliation easier.

It contains 15,000mg of ampoule, making even the lather feel rich and hydrating! > Unlike regular soap or body wash, I could feel the moisturizing effect. While I usually avoid using soap because it leaves my hands and body feeling extremely dry, wow... After using the Ampoule Brown product, I didn't feel any dryness at all. The hydration lasted long, which was great. I could understand why they promote it as being full of ampoules :-) 2. You can enjoy a shower cologne-like woody scent without any aversion! > While the moisturizing effect is incomparable to other products, the fragrance is truly in a league of its own. I tried it and recommended it to my boyfriend, and we were both extremely satisfied. I didn't use perfume once while using this! Although it's not a perfume product so the scent doesn't last long, I wanted to keep that subtle fragrance. I'm quite sensitive to scents, but I could use this without any issues. When the woody scent filled the bathroom after showering, it really made the start and end of my day feel cozy and pleasant. 3. It thoroughly removes body impurities while maintaining hydration! > While the rich lather and pleasant scent are important, the fundamental aspect of a body wash is how well it cleanses and rinses off. It would be meaningless if you spent a lot of money after reading many reviews, only to find that it doesn't cleanse well or leaves a slippery feeling. However, this product, despite being full of ampoules, doesn't leave you feeling like you haven't washed properly. It rinses off cleanly. I compared the results using a pad before use, after use, and after a week of use. Although it's a bit gross, I could clearly see the difference. At first, I thought I hadn't washed properly when I saw the pad, that's how noticeable the reduction in impurities was. I don't have back acne, so I couldn't see if it reduced that, but given how much it decreased impurities, I think it would significantly reduce back acne and other blemishes as well!
ConsThe Hwahae Testers found these aspects of the Ampoule Stone disappointing: There weren't any major disappointments with this product, in my opinion. The only inconvenience was... It seems they designed it to be easy to hold, but I actually found that more uncomfortable. When it lathers up, it becomes slippery, and I couldn't hold it properly. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied. Unlike other products that are hard to find, this one is available on KakaoTalk gift shop, making it a great option for gifting to others!

As someone who prefers to work up a good lather for body cleansing, I was thrilled with how easily it foams up. [Long-lasting fragrance] The sandalwood scent is quite pronounced. It's so strong that you can smell it just by having it in the room. I love this fragrance, so I intentionally left it out in the bathroom for a day to let the aroma permeate the space. [Firmness] I was worried that if it was too soft, it might lose its shape when pressed, but it seems quite firm. It looks like it will maintain its form for a while. My only concern is whether it will remain as firm when it starts to wear down. With other soaps, I've noticed they tend to dissolve faster once the inner part becomes exposed. I'll update on this after using it for a while.
Cons[As a gua sha tool... hmm..] Being made of soap, it's quite slippery. It's also quite thick. Rather than thinking of it as a muscle-relaxing tool, it's better to approach it as a lymphatic massage aid. [Long-lasting fragrance..] This is both a pro and a con. As I mentioned in the positives, I enjoyed it, but my roommate wasn't a fan... Unfortunately, the scent was so strong throughout the bathroom that I had to buy a separate case to store it in.
TipThe soap feels a bit slippery when using it, so I've been wearing shower gloves. I already use glove-style shower mitts, so I tried it with those, and it doesn't slip at all. It also helps create a better lather.

Just as advertised, the foam is rich and creamy. The soap bubbles feel slippery like seaweed, making it perfect for a massage. It rinses off quickly, leaving no residue. Surprisingly, it doesn't soften too quickly, so it felt refreshing during the massage. Its gua sha shape might encourage even those who don't usually massage to give it a try for fun occasionally.
ConsIt's extremely slippery, making it difficult to hold the gua sha soap with bare hands. I had to wrap it in a towel for the massage, which was inconvenient. Having used products with better moisturizing effects before, the squeaky-clean feeling of this soap felt a bit drying. Though, people who enjoy that super-clean sensation might like it. This isn't necessarily a drawback, but the scent was pleasant yet slightly reminiscent of perm solution or that chemical smell in hair salons, though not overpowering. Those with sensitive noses might want to keep this in mind.
TipIt was relatively easy to massage the collarbone, neckline, and shoulder areas with bare hands holding the soap! For an overall body massage, it might be best to gently stimulate lymphatic circulation with a gua sha tool or your hands while the skin is still soapy!

It feels amazing when massaging it in. But here's the twist - rinsing is so refreshing! I love sandalwood scent and only use Dr. B**'s sandalwood, and this is totally my style. The lingering scent lasts so long that I could use a fragrance-free body emulsion like Physiogel. It's not drying, so I won't even need a cream. Packaging: 10 out of 10. The paper packaging is eco-friendly without plastic, and it looks super luxurious. Would make a great gift! Gua sha shape: This is addictive. I keep wanting to massage with it. It feels so soothing on my shoulders and calves. But... as it gets smaller with use, how do we deal with this disappointment? Please make one in the same shape that doesn't dissolve. So we can use it as a permanent companion to the soap... Pretty please!
ConsSince it's soap, it gets slippery when I want to apply more pressure for a deeper massage. It escaped a few times and I had to catch it... Makes me want to buy a separate gua sha tool.
TipIt lathers well and feels gentle. Even just rubbing it lightly with wet hands provides good cleansing effectiveness. Try gua sha massage on your shoulders and calves before rinsing. It relieves all the day's fatigue. Be mindful of water drainage when storing. It seems to soften easily, probably due to its high moisturizing content!

I wasn't sure if a soap could work as a gua sha tool, but surprisingly it did! Massaging the neck area with it was incredibly refreshing and healing. The scent is lovely too. It seems to be infused with plenty of ampoule, as I could feel the firmness, hydration, and softness. After rinsing with water, my skin felt pleasantly matte.
ConsThe soap gua sha might be slippery in your hands, but other than that, I didn't find any particular drawbacks.
TipTry using it for gua sha massage along the sides and back of your neck, extending to your shoulders. It's also super refreshing to massage your arms and sides.
