Pros: Among body care products, it's great that you can easily take care of your skin while showering! I particularly loved how the gua sha shape helps release tension in the trapezius muscles. Personally, I found the scent to be a luxurious sandalwood, which made showering even more enjoyable. It felt like I was at a spa, even though I was doing self-care at home. I think the biggest advantage is being able to save time while taking care of your body. It was fantastic to be able to massage simultaneously during shower time.
ConsCons: You'll need to maintain its shape consistently while using it, and it would be good to store it properly after showering (like on a soap dish) and let it dry well! It's not a major drawback, but there might be some precautions to keep in mind when caring for the soap!
TipYou can get an even more pleasant sensation if you massage from the neck towards the trapezius muscles when your skin is slightly damp! I massaged from the neck > trapezius > collarbone > along the armpit and arm lines, including the lymph nodes, and felt my whole body relax after the shower!

When actually showering, it has a sandalwood scent that's gender-neutral, suitable for everyone. Just like in the picture, the shoulder massage is incredibly refreshing. It lathers well, and the ability to use it for gua sha-like massage is a unique feature that sets it apart from other body soaps. Bonus tip: Using the pointiest part to massage your armpits is absolutely amazing... After massaging shoulders and legs, I tried the armpits, and it's truly an 'armpit-gasm'!
ConsIt's fine for now, but I have a feeling it might not last long. Also, unlike other body soaps that had an extra plastic wrap inside the case, this soap came directly exposed, which was a bit surprising. And as others have mentioned, it really is slippery.
TipInstead of a soap net or soap dish, I've attached a soap holder to the wall. This works well for other soaps too, and it's the best solution to prevent the soap from melting away!

Packaging/Scent I was pleasantly surprised when I first opened the product. The eco-friendly paper packaging without any plastic was impressive, and the scent was absolutely delightful! Even before unwrapping the paper cushioning, the subtle and sophisticated sandalwood aroma filled the air, putting me in a great mood. It would make a perfect gift without excessive packaging. Like how body wash or shampoo fragrances linger, this Ampoule Stone infuses its scent throughout your body as you lather up. It seems to last even longer than perfume or body mist. Personally, I adore this scent - this product is truly something special. 2. Hydration Unlike regular soap, the ampoule-infused formula gives the lather a unique bounce! While it doesn't create an abundance of foam like a cleansing mousse, it has a satisfyingly rich texture. Even though I have dry skin, I didn't feel the immediate need to apply emulsion after washing. It seems well-suited for those with generally dry skin like myself. 3. Cleansing Effectiveness Although it feels slightly slippery due to the ampoule, it rinses off cleanly without leaving any residue. It contains charcoal, which might explain why it feels more refreshing than other body washes. I imagine it would feel even more invigorating in summer. Great cleansing power!
Cons1. User Experience Initially, the gua sha shape was quite firm, allowing me to massage my shoulders, thighs, and calves while showering. While it may not fully relax muscles (it is soap after all), it seems decent for blood circulation and lymphatic massage. Regarding grip, I have relatively small hands and weak grip strength, so I almost dropped the soap several times. It's quite slippery and not easy to hold onto. 2. Those who dislike slippery textures might have mixed feelings about this product.
Tip1. Recommended Skin Type: This would be great for those with normal to dry or dehydrated combination skin. The rich lather and noticeable hydration make it ideal for slightly dry skin types like mine! 2. Pro Tip: It's crucial to dry the soap properly after use! To maintain its gua sha shape for longer, consider using a soap dish or a dry soap holder.

Fragrance: The sandalwood scent that diffuses while showering creates a calming atmosphere. It's a natural and luxurious fragrance that's likely to appeal to everyone. 2. Effectiveness: My body type is dry with keratosis pilaris. If I use body washes with lots of surfactants or don't apply an emulsion after showering, my skin gets itchy. Scratching leads to redness and worsens the keratosis pilaris. I usually stick to body washes with natural ingredients, but I decided to try Amplestone for 2 weeks. Amplestone contains 15,000mg of Bifida ferment lysate, which helps hydrate dry skin. It also includes mineral-rich Dead Sea salt and charcoal, which aids in absorbing skin impurities and sebum. These ingredients effectively calmed my blemishes and keratosis pilaris. While I didn't expect much massage effect from the gua sha-shaped soap, it had a good grip. The soap remained firm even after multiple uses, maintaining its shape and providing a subtle massage effect.
ConsThere weren't many downsides to using Amplestone, but if I had to mention one, it would be this: When I wanted a stronger massage effect on my shoulders or calves where muscles were tense, I rubbed harder and the soap slipped from my hands a few times. Although the soap is firm and didn't easily lose its shape, it was inconvenient when it fell. It's just a personal wish, but if there was a plastic handle, it might be easier to use without slipping.
TipWhen using it for a massage effect, you might drop it occasionally. Since it's not a real gua sha tool, I recommend using it gently and slowly, applying pressure subtly, rather than rubbing too hard.

Let me give you a thorough review. 1. Scent***** Before opening the box, the fragrance was incredibly pleasant. However, when I first unwrapped the soap, I was surprised it smelled like hotel amenities! While showering, you can detect a subtle sandalwood scent. It's so delicate you have to really sniff your skin to catch it. Of course, the scent disappears once you apply body lotion. As someone who loves woody fragrances, I was quite satisfied with the scent while washing! 2. User Experience -> Overall, it was pretty good! I now understand what they mean by 'coating' in the product description. It leaves a feeling somewhere between slippery and smooth, but it washes away with water. While it's not an exfoliating product, it gently removes dead skin cells and impurities. It has good cleansing effectiveness. -> Lather*** It doesn't lather well with just hands, but using a foam net makes it much better! However, this does make the soap shrink faster. -> Moisturizing*** It's about average for a body wash! Neither drying nor particularly hydrating. If I had to rate the moisturizing effect as high, medium, or low, I'd say 'medium'. -> Gua sha effect?* It was okay to use on shoulders or upper arms, but... It's slippery in your hands, making it difficult to utilize the soap's gua sha shape. The soap got dented from slipping and falling. As the soap gets smaller, it becomes even harder to use effectively. Personally, I think it might be better to use a body wash and then do a gua sha massage separately.
Cons-> Would I buy it with my own money? Is it cost-effective? This might vary for different users, but as someone who loves lots of lather, I found myself using a foam net. The soap wears down quickly from rubbing and water exposure... I doubt it would last even a month, so for me, it doesn't seem very cost-effective. *****It would be perfect as a gift to give or receive!!! The packaging is luxurious, the scent is nice, and you could use it happily without worrying about the price.
TipSince the soap was slippery in my hands and difficult to use, I tried holding it different ways. I found that holding it as shown in the picture allows for a stable grip without requiring much force! You won't drop it while using it! Place it horizontally, grip the top part with your thumb and index finger, and wrap your other three fingers around the bottom.

As a fan of woody scents, I couldn't resist sniffing it when I first got it. The aroma was really strong then, but it seemed to soften during showers. However, after rinsing off, a subtle sandalwood scent lingered on my skin, which was delightful and surprising! (I did massage it in quite firmly, so that might have enhanced the scent!) Texture: While using, it felt very soft and moisturizing, but after rinsing, it left my skin feeling squeaky clean like regular soap! If you prefer a moisturizing finish, you might want to consider this. It feels very hydrating during use. Gua Sha functionality: Initially, I was skeptical about using soap for Gua Sha, thinking it would crumble when wet. But it's surprisingly solid! I could firmly press it against my shoulder and neck muscles without it falling apart. However, if you're used to traditional Gua Sha tools, you might find this less intense (I couldn't apply as much pressure as with regular tools).
ConsDrawbacks: Storage was a bit tricky. Without a separate soap dish, it's hard to find a good spot for it. I ended up keeping it in a soap net. The fact that it's slippery all over makes it challenging to use on legs - it kept escaping from my hands! It might be better if it had a small hole with a loop for easier handling.
TipUsing it on your back is quite challenging unless you're extremely flexible! You might need to lather it separately or use it after your regular body wash. Make sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid any residue. If you're looking for something to gently work out shoulder or arm muscles during a quick shower, this could be a good option!

As someone who prefers to work up a good lather for body cleansing, I was thrilled with how easily it foams up. [Long-lasting fragrance] The sandalwood scent is quite pronounced. It's so strong that you can smell it just by having it in the room. I love this fragrance, so I intentionally left it out in the bathroom for a day to let the aroma permeate the space. [Firmness] I was worried that if it was too soft, it might lose its shape when pressed, but it seems quite firm. It looks like it will maintain its form for a while. My only concern is whether it will remain as firm when it starts to wear down. With other soaps, I've noticed they tend to dissolve faster once the inner part becomes exposed. I'll update on this after using it for a while.
Cons[As a gua sha tool... hmm..] Being made of soap, it's quite slippery. It's also quite thick. Rather than thinking of it as a muscle-relaxing tool, it's better to approach it as a lymphatic massage aid. [Long-lasting fragrance..] This is both a pro and a con. As I mentioned in the positives, I enjoyed it, but my roommate wasn't a fan... Unfortunately, the scent was so strong throughout the bathroom that I had to buy a separate case to store it in.
TipThe soap feels a bit slippery when using it, so I've been wearing shower gloves. I already use glove-style shower mitts, so I tried it with those, and it doesn't slip at all. It also helps create a better lather.

Fragrance u2605u2605u2605u2605u2605 I absolutely adored the sandalwood scent of the Ampoule Stone. Even before taking it out of the box, opening it released a uniquely subtle, soap-like aroma that was incredibly intense yet not headache-inducing at all - I just wanted to keep smelling it. It's like getting a bonus diffuser! Washing experience u2605u2605u2605u2605u2606 Before wetting, it feels like touching a smooth stone. After adding water, I was initially surprised by the lack of lather, but as I used it, a dense, rich foam developed nicely. As someone who uses various gua sha tools, I appreciated being able to massage while cleansing the back of my neck and behind my ears. (Though a bit embarrassing to mention) It was also great for directly massaging the armpits, groin, and sides. One slight drawback is the grip - it's not very comfortable to hold. Whether I held it loosely or firmly (I tried drying it, but due to moisture, it left marks later when gripping), its slippery nature made massaging challenging. Hence, one star deducted. Post-wash feeling u2605u2605u2605u2605u2606 It's incredibly refreshing. I had some blemishes on my chest area, which improved significantly after using the Ampoule Stone. Above all, my skin felt noticeably healthier. I have combination skin with extremely dry and oily areas coexisting, which was concerning, but this product addressed both issues simultaneously. Thanks to the charcoal component, I also felt a deep cleansing effect on my body. So squeaky clean! However, the dry areas felt tight quickly, so I followed up with body oil after use. Packaging u2605u2605u2605u2606u2606 The outer packaging and the explanatory text and design inside are very luxurious, making it suitable as a gift. However, the Ampoule Stone sits rather lonely in the box (while reducing single-use packaging is good, the stone itself seemed to need paper or secondary packaging). I worried that if the box got wet or torn, it could directly affect the product. Also, if storage before use is necessary, moisture could be a concern, and aesthetically, it left something to be desired. While improvements could be made, I'm personally inclined to purchase again in its current state. It offers good value for money and is a satisfactory product overall!
ConsAs mentioned in the pros section, I feel that the gua sha massage function might not perform as well over time. Realistically, a round body soap of similar size could achieve the same massage effect as the Ampoule Stone. Alternatively, if the size were reduced, it might be easier to grip and massage with. ++ Those sensitive to fragrances might be hesitant to use this, as it has such a strong scent. This aspect is both a pro and a con. Personally, I don't have sensitive skin, so I love the fragranceu2661
TipI recommend using it with a foam net :) The rich, dense lather is incredible! However, keep in mind that doing so will compromise its massage function.

It feels amazing when massaging it in. But here's the twist - rinsing is so refreshing! I love sandalwood scent and only use Dr. B**'s sandalwood, and this is totally my style. The lingering scent lasts so long that I could use a fragrance-free body emulsion like Physiogel. It's not drying, so I won't even need a cream. Packaging: 10 out of 10. The paper packaging is eco-friendly without plastic, and it looks super luxurious. Would make a great gift! Gua sha shape: This is addictive. I keep wanting to massage with it. It feels so soothing on my shoulders and calves. But... as it gets smaller with use, how do we deal with this disappointment? Please make one in the same shape that doesn't dissolve. So we can use it as a permanent companion to the soap... Pretty please!
ConsSince it's soap, it gets slippery when I want to apply more pressure for a deeper massage. It escaped a few times and I had to catch it... Makes me want to buy a separate gua sha tool.
TipIt lathers well and feels gentle. Even just rubbing it lightly with wet hands provides good cleansing effectiveness. Try gua sha massage on your shoulders and calves before rinsing. It relieves all the day's fatigue. Be mindful of water drainage when storing. It seems to soften easily, probably due to its high moisturizing content!

Packaging: I loved the eco-friendly packaging. Scent: A luxurious sandalwood fragrance. It has a calm, slightly unisex feel. The scent lingers long after showering - no need for perfume! (Sandalwood is said to have a calming effect on the mind and body.) Stone massage effect: You can tell a lot of research went into the stone's shape. The wider curves were perfect for massaging from the neck to the trapezius muscles, shoulders, upper arms, sides, waist, and larger areas of thighs and calves. The narrower parts were ideal for the collarbone, Achilles tendon, and lower calves. As someone prone to leg swelling, I found that massaging while sitting on a bath chair really helped reduce puffiness! Foam texture: Packed with bifida ampoule, the soap creates a rich, silky lather that's perfect for a gentle massage. Feel on skin: While using, it feels incredibly rich and slippery, making you wonder if it'll rinse off well. But it washes away cleanly, leaving skin feeling fresh. After drying off, my skin felt moisturized and soft! I usually need body cream even in summer due to dry skin, but after using this, a light emulsion is enough to keep me hydrated. Exfoliation: While not as intense as a scrub, it does provide gentle exfoliation. With continued use, my skin (especially legs) is becoming softer and smoother. I usually use a famous Dead Sea salt and oil scrub in winter, but this ampoule stone is perfect for summer! Product durability: It doesn't soften too quickly. After four uses, it's only slightly smaller. If you store it in a dry place after use, it should last a long time!
Cons(Personal observations) *It's very slippery for gua sha massage, often slipping out of my hands. (Potential issues for sensitive individuals) *The lingering scent post-shower might be overwhelming for those who don't enjoy the distinct, heavy sandalwood fragrance. *(Was it just me?) I felt a cool, slightly tingly sensation after showering, similar to using a cooling shampoo. This might be perceived as irritation by those with sensitive skin.
Tip*After massaging with the soap, don't rinse off immediately. Use the remaining silky lather to massage with your hands - the texture is perfect for this! You'll get double the exfoliation and hydration! *If you're busy before work, use this after work when you have more time. It's great for relieving fatigue and the scent is so relaxing - pure bliss! *To prevent the soap from softening too quickly, use a magnetic soap holder. But be sure to remove the soap from the holder before use to avoid damaging it as it wears down.
