Just as advertised, the foam is rich and creamy. The soap bubbles feel slippery like seaweed, making it perfect for a massage. It rinses off quickly, leaving no residue. Surprisingly, it doesn't soften too quickly, so it felt refreshing during the massage. Its gua sha shape might encourage even those who don't usually massage to give it a try for fun occasionally.
ConsIt's extremely slippery, making it difficult to hold the gua sha soap with bare hands. I had to wrap it in a towel for the massage, which was inconvenient. Having used products with better moisturizing effects before, the squeaky-clean feeling of this soap felt a bit drying. Though, people who enjoy that super-clean sensation might like it. This isn't necessarily a drawback, but the scent was pleasant yet slightly reminiscent of perm solution or that chemical smell in hair salons, though not overpowering. Those with sensitive noses might want to keep this in mind.
TipIt was relatively easy to massage the collarbone, neckline, and shoulder areas with bare hands holding the soap! For an overall body massage, it might be best to gently stimulate lymphatic circulation with a gua sha tool or your hands while the skin is still soapy!
