ConsUnlike other gentle brightening sunscreens I've used before, which were fine to sleep in, this one causes itching and dead skin cells to appear if not removed.

It works especially well when paired with the Hince Second Skin Foundation from the same brand. I apply this brightening moisturizer primarily to areas with a darker complexion, and then follow up with foundation - it absorbs beautifully. When used with a foundation that has a darkening effect, it can provide a decent level of coverage.
ConsThe green base isn't particularly intense, so its ability to cover redness isn't exceptional. However, it does a good job of evening out the skin tone, which I'm satisfied with.

It seems to work well for me! ✦ Coverage This might vary from person to person, but I was extremely satisfied with how it covered my redness! While it's not a miracle worker, it provides a natural-looking coverage that I love! (It doesn't completely eliminate redness, but significantly reduces it.) If you're looking to tone down facial redness for a more alive and healthy look, I highly recommend this! ✦ Scent Honestly, the fragrance isn't noticeable unless you're actively sniffing your hand. Even then, it's similar to typical base products or suncare items with a base. It's unlikely to be a deal-breaker for anyone! ✦ Miscellaneous and Packaging First off, it's absolutely adorable! It fits perfectly in your hand, reminiscent of a hand sanitizer bottle. The small opening is great - I applied it to the back of my hand first, but you could probably apply it directly to your face too. I tried the green version, and both the color and texture are super cute. Despite some issues with application and pilling, I forgave a lot because this little guy is just so darn cute.
Cons✦ Texture For context, I have dry and sensitive skin. I had high hopes for hydration, but it felt quite dry after application. The texture itself looks moisturizing, but after a bit of rubbing, it sets to a very matte finish! Some might like this, but as I prefer a dewy look, it wasn't ideal for me. In other words, it looks hydrating when squeezed onto your hand, but feels quite matte and thick on your face. ✦ Skin Appearance Regardless of your skin condition, there seems to be some pilling, which was disappointing. It also leaves your skin feeling very matte to the touch (quite dry after application). Keep this in mind if you prefer products that don't transfer onto your mask! ✦ Longevity For reference, the regular Cell Fusion C sunscreen (pink one) stays natural-looking from morning till night. This one lasts from morning until around dinner time. However, it's extremely weak against water. When water splashed on my face while washing my hands, it immediately turned into white streaks... So, I wouldn't recommend this for those who sweat a lot in summer. Your face might end up looking like a yogurt factory...
TipI recommend using a sponge to apply (with a moisturizer underneath)! It sets extremely quickly, so if you're using your hands, you need to spread it at lightning speed to avoid clumping!

Excellent product! ♡ Application: Glides on smoothly No clumping ♡ Coverage: Effectively conceals redness - really great Looks natural (skin looks good even with just this product) ♡ Longevity: Minimal shine even when sweating (stayed put after running in the morning) ♡ Scent: Fragrance-free, so no aversion Also, the ingredients are good quality, so no blemishes or heat rash appeared (slight cooling effect, nice for summer weather)
Cons1. Expensive for the amount 2. Plastic container makes it hard to see how much is left 3. Although it's SPF 50+, you might still need a separate sunscreen 4. Doesn't come off completely with just the first cleanse (double cleansing is a must)
TipPairs well with Hanskin Hyaluronic Acid Essence (pink cap)

No need to apply sunscreen separately 2. Effectively covers redness 3. Controls oil, resulting in less shine in the afternoon 4. Only need to cover blemishes with foundation - Before using this, I had to apply thick layers of foundation or cushion compact for full coverage. Now, I only need light coverage, and I don't have to apply sunscreen separately, which has reduced my makeup time!
ConsApart from being slightly drying, there aren't any major drawbacks. Before applying the makeup base, use this routine: Toner (twice) > Essence > Moisturizer > Makeup base Following this order prevents tightness or difficulty in application.
TipWhen I first used it, I had issues with pilling and it settling into pores due to poor amount control. I realized I was applying too much. It's crucial to apply a very thin layer using a small amount. Especially for pore areas, I found that spreading a bit on the back of my hand first, then applying to the face, provides pore coverage and a smooth application.

I'm not sure if it would suit dry skin types! It dries quickly and isn't particularly moisturizing, so I wouldn't recommend it for that. I used it with my regular foundation and it worked well without any pilling. I think it would pair nicely with other foundations or cushions too. One thing I noticed is that when I applied this before my foundation, my face didn't darken over time like it usually does. It neutralizes redness and brightens the complexion, maintaining that fair look throughout the day. If you have great skin and just want to tackle redness, this product alone might be enough!
ConsGiven its fluid texture, I expected it to spread easily and feel hydrating when patting it in. However, when applied in a thin layer, it dried faster than anticipated, which made it a bit challenging to work with. Also, because of the thin application, there was some slight separation around the nose and cheek areas. But don't worry - these issues seemed to resolve themselves once I finished my makeup and gave it some time to settle.
TipWhen I first tried to apply it with a sponge, it absorbed too much product and didn't spread well, so I switched to using a cushion puff! Since the formula dries quickly, I recommend working fast and applying it to one area at a time when using a thin layer. This prevents it from drying before you've had a chance to blend it properly!

I also have somewhat visible pores, and my skin reacts badly to products with incompatible ingredients, so I always check the ingredient list carefully. Fortunately, all the ingredients in this product are fine! Usually, if something doesn't suit me, my skin turns red immediately, but I've been using this for days without any such reaction. Looking at the before and after photos, you can clearly see how it covers both pores and redness, right? I'm not usually a fan of thick textures, but this applies lightly, which I love. It provides surprisingly good coverage while still feeling thin and natural on the skin. I used to use sunscreen and a light layer of cushion foundation, but now I think I can get away with just this product and sunscreen. The main advantages I'd highlight are: 1. Redness coverage 2. Pore coverage 3. Lightweight formula 4. Effective brightening
ConsIf I had to pick one drawback, it might be the scent? But honestly, unless you're deliberately sniffing it up close, you won't notice it, so it shouldn't be a concern.
TipBe careful not to apply too much, or it can make your skin look too pale! I recommend using slightly less than what you see in the photo. The first time I used it, I squeezed out too much without thinking and was surprised by how light it made my complexion... just a heads up!
