My skin type is combination, with an oily T-zone and dry elsewhere. In this hot and humid weather, I tend to get blemishes and uneven skin tone. This product seems gentler than typical drugstore cleansing foams, as it calms my skin noticeably. First off, I'm reassured that it's vegan! It's so gentle and non-irritating, which I absolutely love. The packaging is also super clean and pretty! Perhaps because it's vegan, the foam doesn't lather up like a cream foam cleanser. You need to mix it with water to get a decent lather. Also, those with super sensitive skin might find the scent reminiscent of dish soap, which could be off-putting. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2022
As this is my first time trying a vegan foam cleanser, I apologize for not being able to compare it with other vegan products. - At first glance, the transparent formula looked quite thin, making me worry I'd use it up quickly. However, its gel-like consistency actually made it easy to control the amount used. - Despite appearances, it lathered up wonderfully. While not an ultra-rich foam, it was satisfyingly bubbly and effective. - After rinsing, my skin felt squeaky clean, providing a refreshing sensation. - I was concerned the squeaky-clean feeling might lead to tightness and dryness once my skin dried. Surprisingly, it left my skin feeling hydrated, as if it preserved my skin's moisture. It gave my complexion a soft, supple feel without any pulling sensation. - It seems to be an unscented foam cleanser. Perhaps because of this, there's an unfamiliar scent - not quite unscented, but a faint smell reminiscent of plastic or weak wood glue. As someone who dislikes such scents, I found it slightly off-putting. - While continued use might yield different results, I've had to stop using it for now. My skin, which previously only had a few tiny, invisible blemishes, has completely broken out. I'm currently struggling with these blemishes. To clarify, the cleanser is the only recent change in my skincare routine. While others report improved skin, for some reason, it's given me blemish concerns I never had before. My skin, which has never reacted badly to any product, is now experiencing painful blemishes. However, I'm trying to console myself by thinking it might be due to changes in my overall condition rather than the product itself... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinJul 28, 2022
[Skin Type] Extremely oily + acne-prone skin [Product Appearance] Clean and transparent, allowing you to easily see how much product is left at a glance. [Texture] Transparent gel texture. At first, it seems like it doesn't lather well, but if you continue to work it with your hands, it quickly foams up. However, it doesn't produce an excessive amount of foam. [Post-Cleansing] Leaves a squeaky clean feeling. [Cleansing Effectiveness] I don't wear makeup often, so I couldn't verify how well it removes makeup, but it worked well when cleaning my makeup brushes. [Conclusion] With its simple ingredients, it's quite a nice product that's good to use [Scent] It's not completely unscented. I'm not sure exactly what the scent is, but it's slightly detergent-like? It's not the typical perfumed soap scent we're used to. While it's not off-putting, it's not a scent I particularly enjoy - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJul 26, 2022
A small amount is enough when massaged in. The foam isn't overly rich, more of a creamy texture? I liked how it felt firm on the skin. Like all cleansing foams, it's best to pre-cleanse if you're wearing makeup - the foam alone won't remove everything perfectly! With this humid weather and wearing masks all day, even non-oily skin can feel greasy and uncomfortable under the mask. After using this product, I felt like it removed all the oil from my face? It was so refreshing and left my skin feeling squeaky clean. Yet it didn't leave my skin feeling overly dry. The ingredients are gentle too, so I think I can use it without worry. The scent is a bit... like dish soap? There's a faint smell of kitchen detergent, but it's not strong enough to be bothersome. It would be great for morning cleansing too, especially if your skin gets oily overnight.
