My skin easily turns red after deep cleansing, but this product leaves it feeling hydrated even after washing! It's so good that I use it up quickly... It's a bit slippery, but that's because it's so moisturizing When you squeeze it onto your hands and rub them together, it sometimes escapes, so after squeezing it, immediately lather it up to prevent slipping. This works like a charm! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2022
* Lathers well * Great cleansing effectiveness * Less dryness after washing * Doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes During these mask-wearing times, I only wear sunscreen, eye makeup, and lip color. Even without a separate cleanser, this face wash removed my makeup effectively. I was particularly impressed that even when I carefully rubbed to remove eye makeup, the foam didn't sting my eyes when it got in them. Also, as I've been getting older, I've been concerned about dryness. While this doesn't dramatically improve hydration, I love that there's no tight feeling after cleansing. I've always worried about dryness with cleansers, no matter which product I used. I highly recommend this to those with dry skin like mine. * The cleanser itself is slippery This isn't really a drawback, but when you squeeze the cleanser into your hand and try to lather it, it slips away! It's like trying to hold onto frog eggs. So you have to carefully rub it to create foam. Once it's foamy, it doesn't run away like frog eggs anymore. After your first cleanse, create as much foam as possible and gently massage it in. The cleansing effectiveness is good even without rubbing hard. I couldn't upload all the photos due to file size limits, but if you don't do a first cleanse, you'll need to rub more to remove makeup. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinJul 29, 2022
Gentle, effective cleansing, fragrance-free I used this foam cleanser for a week to remove my makeup after wearing it all day on my dry and sensitive skin. Previously, I used Senka, which left my face stinging and dry after cleansing. With this product, I didn't experience severe dryness. Moreover, I was surprised by its unexpected cleansing effectiveness. Being a fragrance-free, colorless vegan product, I thought it might not be perfect, so I used it with some reservations. However, I learned that we shouldn't underestimate the cleansing power of vegan products. In fact, it made me wonder if products with more chemical additives might actually cause more blemishes. Before, I used to get at least one blemish per week, but while using this product, I noticed a significant decrease in the number of blemishes. Amount needed A small amount doesn't lather as much as expected, so I ended up using about a 500 won coin-sized amount. When I used Senka, I only needed half the size of my pinky nail, but with this product, you need to use about three times as much to create a lather. The slippery feeling during cleansing is probably due to its low pH and gentle formula, but I find myself constantly working up a lather, which is a bit disappointing. The texture is quite thin. Instead of rubbing it between your palms and then applying it to your face, I suggest squeezing some directly onto both hands and then massaging it onto your face. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 28, 2022
Only 5 ingredients? I'm speechless... (so impressed)! With all unnecessary components removed, it feels really trustworthy. As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts immediately to incompatible products, I can confidently say this is safe to use. 1. Cleansing effectiveness: Pretty good! It doesn't completely remove all makeup, though. 2. After-feel: Slightly squeaky clean 3. Lather: Not super rich, but enough for a comfortable cleanse 4. Scent: Fragrance-free - Many products use artificial fragrances, but Simplelog's cleanser is unscented, which I found pleasant and comforting. With just 5 ingredients and all unnecessary elements removed, this vegan cosmetic is even better than regular cleansers. I have sensitive, blemish-prone skin that reacts quickly to unsuitable products, but I had no issues with this one! Especially when my face is irritated and sensitive, harsh cleansing can make things worse, right? But this feels gentle even on those days! It doesn't aggravate my blemishes, which is great! Unlike strong acne cleansers that can be painful for troubled skin, this one is so gentle. It's perfect for both morning and evening cleansing routines! 1. The texture is a bit jelly-like, so it can slip off your hand when you squeeze it out. Be careful when lathering if you're using your hands! 2. While it is gentle, it's not super hydrating and leaves a squeaky clean feeling. If you have dry skin, make sure to moisturize right after cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJul 28, 2022
• Leaves skin feeling hydrated without any dryness • Gentle on the skin with minimal irritation • Excellent cleansing effectiveness (I was worried about its cleansing power since it's a gentle product, but it removed everything well except mascara) • After use, skin feels moisturized but slightly slippery. Not recommended if you prefer that squeaky clean feeling. This is likely to maintain hydration. • It's fragrance-free. This could be a matter of personal preference. Personally, I'd prefer a light, fresh scent. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 26, 2022
1) It's a certified vegan product 2) The transparent packaging is sleek and allows you to see how much product is left 3) For those with super sensitive skin, products that don't agree with your skin usually cause blemishes the next day, but this doesn't do that 1) Perhaps because it's vegan, there's a slight soapy scent 2) After cleansing, it can leave a slightly slippery feeling (may vary) 3) Due to its thin consistency, it gets used up quickly - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinJul 23, 2022
Texture: Before water contact, the texture feels gel-like. When water touches it and you rub it with your hands, it creates a rich, elastic foam, enabling foam cleansing. This bouncy foam helps you cleanse your face thoroughly. It feels like it's effectively drawing out sebum from deep within the pores. Scent: It's fragrance-free. I'm extremely sensitive to scents, but this doesn't have any smell at all. Design: True to the brand name, it's incredibly simple. It doesn't look like a cleanser, more like a soothing cream? I love this minimalist design. Taste: When cleansing, it's inevitable that a bit gets into your mouth. The taste you experience then is quite off-putting. It's extremely bitter... Rinsing: After cleansing, it feels very slippery when washing off. Even after rinsing repeatedly with water, it still feels slippery... Because of this, I might not reach for it often after using it a few times. It makes me feel like something wasn't cleaned off properly and leaves me feeling uneasy. When using it for the first time, if you wet it with plenty of water, it creates even more foam, making it easier to cleanse! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 22, 2022
Here's my review after using this cleanser morning and night for 3 days. For context, I only use sunscreen. When I first applied it, it reminded me of hair gel. My initial thoughts were: 1. Wow, it's gentler than I expected! As someone with sensitive skin who only uses non-irritating cleansers, I usually switch products immediately if I feel any irritation after rubbing it in. But this one caused almost no irritation, so it passed the test. 2. The ingredients list is simple. While I don't necessarily think a simple ingredients list is a huge advantage, it does increase the likelihood of working well for sensitive skin types. I appreciate that it's also fragrance-free. 3. How well does it cleanse? It removed my sunscreen effectively. I'm not sure about its claims for pore care or removing fine dust particles though! 4. The gel texture made it great for massaging into the skin - nice and slippery. Overall, I want to give it a high score for being so gentle, but if someone asked me if this is THE cleansing foam to buy, I'd probably choose something else. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. There are many products on the market that are both non-irritating and provide more noticeable pore care. If it rinsed off a bit more thoroughly, the fresh finish would make it great for year-round use. Some downsides I noticed from the second use: 1. While the foam itself isn't irritating, it doesn't rinse off easily. It's so slippery that it keeps clinging to the skin. I end up irritating my skin trying to remove the leftover cleanser. I haven't seen other reviews mention this, but while I might rinse 15 times with other cleansing foams, with this one I'm rinsing 25 times... It's just so slippery. 2. It doesn't lather well. The gel clumps up in places, so the foam starts to form but then stops. Other reviews say it lathers well - how are they doing it?? When I apply it to my face, there's a big difference in the amount of foam... While it's non-irritating due to its slipperiness, it just doesn't create much lather. 3. Fragrance-free It's supposed to be fragrance-free, but there's a faint detergent-like smell. I do have a sensitive nose, but it's not completely scent-free. As someone who prefers pleasant fragrances in cleansers, this is a bit disappointing. While I'm using this because it was provided to me, I'm not sure why I would choose to buy this specific product out of the many options available.
